eta ank, I'm sorry you didn't get better news today but I'm with you. for all the sorrows I sometimes feel I have, I know there are others that are worse off and it reminds me to be thankful for what I have. And thankful for more towels today.

I've been gone all day- looks like I missed some interesting drama (totally dying to know the whole story because I'm nosy like that). Had a lovely day with my mom. We didn't kill each other, which I thought was rather nice and unexpected, lol.

Got 3 rugs at 2 different T's, which was nice. But 1st store, he K1'ed and I swiped my card and was halfway through my signature and THEN he went back and adjusted the Q down- NOT happy about that. Granted, it was only about $1, but still...I don't think he should change prices as I'm signing.

Andddd, I've lost 2 pounds!

a few times every day esp late at nite in front of the computer. i keep eating dried fruit and nut mix. it's bad to eat so late at nite but at least it's not bad for you.

dh is busy having a hissy fit b/c i asked him to wash the rice. i'm trying to teach him that he can't just pawn off on me whatever he doesn't want to do. so i just waited and waited until he got hungry and went out to buy himself some food. then i cooked the stir-fry i had prepped, deciding not to bother w/ the rice since i'm trying to cut back and now it's less than an hr later and now i'm hungry.

gonna have some crackers and cheese while i price stuff for yardsale.

i AM hungry, too. fake hungry, i think. i'm not sure. don't want to eat this late, but i've been putting it off for the last 45 mins and ughh. going to fridge to get some mushroom soup i made with skim milk so it's low fat. bah.

and of course i went to the grocery store today - on my list was pistachios and walnuts. i remembered in store then got distracted and forgot cos i was really hungry (for real ) and wanted to get home. now i remember cos i could've just had some nuts!

which means i have to go back again tomorrow. nuts!

I ate waaaay too much chinese food.

Went to Kohl's and got myself a sessy black and white dress, some black heels, a necklace and earrings to match. Then I went to target to get some halloween candy for the carnival and some glade for my house and found a bra that gives you 2 extra cup sizes.

I'm hitting target tomorrow and I am gonna find me a nice piece of pie. I better look hawt or I'm gonna be pissed.

SA finally got D-Day. Good riddance.

Doc thinks it is highly likely that she'll need surgery anyways. She's got hydro-nephrosis with mega ureter. Meaning her kidney is enlarged and her ureter is huge. Her kidney, on a scale of 1-4, he said is a 3. Her ureter looked like a big sausage on the ultrasound. He did say that it was great that there is no reflux of urine back into the kidney. That would mean that she would be on constant anti-biotics. Right now, he wants to monitor her and check her again in 2 mos with another ultrasound. The earliest they would do surgery is between 10-12 mos. There is still a chance that she'll not have any problems and they can leave it, but he didn't think that would end up being the case because it is so very enlarged. The deciding factors will be if she gets any infections or if it gets bigger.

My sweet DH is worried. He actually came home from work early to snuggle Mavis. I soooo him. I love to see him being so tender with the girls.

Yes. Which stinks because my T takes them until they beep expired. Most of them beep expired right away anymore. (Though, if anyone happens to discover any that *don't* at any time and thinks of me... I wouldn't mind a note! If your stores are the same way, lemme know and I'll do the same!)

OMG do they take expired MQ's? I normally always have good ones left over BUT our stores whine if you even think about giving them one that is a day expired... I'll let you know when I get expired ones... if you can use them

I think I missed that cali but thank you for posting about the P&G! I've shopped at Walmart more in the lat month than the last 3 years. Gain dish soap, here I come. lol Sadly, no bogo at all that I noticed.

meeshe, how did your cat get stuck in a vent? Better yet, did you take a picture? Around here, we take pictures of silly things like that. Kids getting their head stuck in rails, cats doing stupid stuff... lol

Ok lets see.. let me sum up my day.. a day from living heck...lol

Went to bed last night around 3am as I was trying to catch up on laundry and clean up what I ripped apart in the house... got back up at 7am... got the kiddos ready for school, made breakfast... finished cleaning the house... had my dd's friend come over when they got off the bus... nonetheless.. my ds acts like an arse while shes here... bought pizza... then she left.. then I find out my all time favorite cat, Wendy our siamese cat got stuck in our heating vent.. wtf!?! Went off and tried to get her out for HOURS...even brought her up pizza.. finally got her out about an hour ago!! YAY!! Made me happy.. now she can eat her pizza...

Other than that.. now I am relaxing...watching Wife Swap..I love watching these freaked out shows that make me realize that I am not that abnormal.. LMAO

Two friends remembered, and my sister, but no other family or friends seemed to care (before I posted something on Facebook). Last year the day passed and I was ok but this year it was a little harder.

As for the produce coupon - that thing is just buggery - and I just noticed that it did attach to the apples on the receipt. (but it did beep, so I dunno...) But, they are pushing it through without a comment, so I will use it. I am uncomfy with the Kraft string cheese coupons though. While it doesn't specify a size, it does have a pic of the bag and I sooo don't want to alienate any of my cashiers or make the store clamp down. Oh, and it DOES BEEP. I think I will use it sparingly, if at all, in the future. The .50 deli coupon was beepless on the Archer Farms (organic!) cheese sticks - so I will stock up with those if I can. The bagels were .99 at my store and the new bakery coupon beeped. I totally did not read the coupon, so I didn't realize that it says it's not valid on .99 items. I felt kind of like a dufus, but for whatever reason the cashier saw fit to let me use 1 coupon on 2 bagels (1.98 total, but .99 individually), so I still go the bagels - just not free. I love the mini bagels too - but right now I'm trying to *not* spend any oop $$ til the end of the week when DH gets paid, so that's why I tried the bagels - figuring they would auto down. DD's cashier pushed the q through - I'm guessing she didn't read 'em. (though, dd said the cashier almost had a fit saying she should give her coupons first... I trained DD well enough in that aspect.)

Other than that.. now I am relaxing...watching Wife Swap..I love watching these freaked out shows that make me realize that I am not that abnormal.. LMAO
