OMG I know...I'm from Iowa as well..I can't even go in my yard anymore...they're all over in my house! There were 2 on me while I was sleeping last night! UGH! It makes me sooooo mad I could scream!

We have not had the beetles bad here today but the boxelder bugs instead, and they are everywhere!

the makeup forever foundation bottle lasts forever but i'd say unless someone has really blotchy skin or such, the average person really doesn't need that foundation. it would be more for semi-professional use, for someone doing a lot of on-camera work, like if you are in PR and have to go on TV, or if you're photographed a lot etc, cos it is full coverage. but it's excellent in the finish it gives the skin.

make up forever also has a fabulous concealer - comes in tubes. much cheaper.

we just switched to the 7th gen hand wash. love it. citrus scent. buying one triggers a cat for 0.50/2 at T... but i belatedly realized that there's a 7th gen 1/1 in an august insert. will go back to do a missed coupon.

And I hate the lights in Sephora- never looks the same at home. My skin is horrible- I'm 25 and still breaking out along my chin. I figured if it was good enough for people on TV, it might make me look better while shopping at T

Crap, forgot my 7th Gen Q, as well. It was a spur of the moment thing- picked up 2 rugs and needed to absorb overage just in case. Spotted the hand wash, since my T isn't of the stores that carries it. Oh well, still only paid $1.35 for the handwash and 2 rugs

but you are honorable. and you have a big, beautiful family life with DH. trust that and trust him and pay no heed to her. don't give it any energy. don't let it get you worked up. easier said, i know. but you don't want anger, distrust etc to seep into your relationship. cos then she achieved her goal of getting between you guys.

Apparently it's cranky day around here. I kind of feel that way too -- for no reason. I did manage to infect my poor husband with whatever this is we have been passing around in here.

Hubby has a lot of vacation that he has to use by the end of the year. Trying to think of something to do. We will use a few days to visit the other side of the state where we have family. Other than that, I don't know. I really hate to stay home, if we do he will just work around here the whole time.

I'm extremely jealous and protective of what's mine! (I.e. dh) so I wouldn't have even takin the time to post here, I would already been there beating her door down.

I found a Keurig Mini on craiglist, a red one! So this morning I tried the chai latte, which I picked up at Kohl's. It wasn't "bad", but I hated it, and couldn't quite put my finger on why..........till I realized it tasted like I was drinking GLADE! Maybe my teens will like it, lol!

I hate shopping for house stuff with my dh. The. End. Oh well, it's DONE for the day at least.

I lah-ooove reality TV. and Teen Moms is one on my DVR. I could just slap that girl, she really pisses me off. I would really like to know where her mother is! But I just adore Catelynn. I think she is sooo amazing! So mature and selfless especially considering her home circumstances. I just want to hug her and take her in.

I guess I can live with that, as today is my friday and it's a 4 day weekend for me (Monday is Columbus Day).

it will stop/reduce the breakouts. it will.
so i never used to use foundation. then needed to for work life. so i decided to try revlon foundation since i was new to foundation. breakouts galore. l'oreal ... more breakouts. clinique. insane breakouts. clarins - didn't work with my skin tone and still breakouts. switched to lancome cos i used other lancome products a lot and loved them so figured that was my mistake. nope. more breakouts. my skin was going super nuts. then one makeup counter person said to me one day, you know you might be allergic to the fragance added into these makeup products. so i found a powder to cream foundation from lancome that was non-greasy and fragrance-free. within a couple of weeks the breakouts dramatically diminished, but over time it was too drying. so eventually i found mufe, and love it.
but what really made the big change for me was clarisonic.

i think you're a clarisonic person, too (can't remember if it was you or ank). but i'd say play with different makeup formulations, and constantly look for fragrance free.

totally agree on sephora lighting. i get samples from them for everything then test in daylight. usually, i will sit in my car in a bright spot (but not direct in my face sunlight) and do the makeup and then see how it looks.

also, a tip from kevyn aucoin that works fabulously: find a concealer that works for you. find a moisturizer that works for you. put a little bit of moisturizer in your hand. add a drop or two of concealer to it. mix well. then apply over your face. voila - you have your own foundation, customized for sheerness and shade and consistency and oiliness. and it's cheaper. and it won't cause breakouts.

7th gen -- you can still do a missed q. i'm ruminating going that route, but a little hesitant cos i have bath q overage on those rcpts.
