just want to tell a funny story-

me and bff are having our bi-annual yard sale. we intend for it to be annual, but somehow we just end up having it every other yr.

so i sold $46.10 today Frown(*delete* we didn't do classified this time b/c it was 39.xx for 5 lines which is like double what it used to be).

and 22.00 of it was air fresheners and glade candle type stuff! that's just about halfEEK!.

oh, some background. i don't really buy anything to sell at yardsales. if it's mm or free (i have to pay tax b4 mq, so sometimes not worth it), hey, why not? last yr i bought the glade gel plug-ins just to see how they would do. gone in the first hr or so! i get most of my stuff from my hoarder mom and SIL's house, so lot's of things are priced really cheap at a qtr, 50 cents or a dollar. the most expensive item sold was a 4.00 freshmatic and 2- 3 wick glade candles at 3.00ealaugh out loud.

sorry, gt6, today was one of my worst diet days. i'll get back on the wagon on sunday. i hope tomorrow picks up. bff said this yr is the last yr she's doing yard sale b/c it's not worth it. *delete*

after we packed up, she said she was going to post again on craigslist in baby and store fixtures. *delete*

ok, enough procrastinating. gotta go price more stuff.

Busy couple days of RL around here! My dining table is now in various stages of development; all of the pieces are at least cut and sanded. Assembling and staining will have to happen next week since it should be cooling off more here soon. Beautiful last couple of days that's for sure! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

It's only 10:30 here. I am so tired!!

I'm trying to figure out what to buy tomorrow. *laugh*

I am going to stock up on some produce, maybe some muffins, cheese sticks, and not sure what else. I am hoping they have the 9.99 rugs - I think our floor could use a change, but I ain't paying to do it. Some new towels would be nice too. *sigh* I guess I"ll have to go wander the store!

I've been craving popcorn soooo badly, but haven't been willing to pay 4.99 for the kernels at T. I am going to stock up on some kale and make crunchy kale instead. I think that would be nice, eh??

Does anyone know if the icebreaker mints have short bar codes. I forgot to look today. Frown

Hmmmm, I love popcorn. Why can't it be low carb? I have a jar of it out there too. Must resist. It's probably a good thing that they don't make a microwave popcorn that actually tastes like popcorn with real butter. What the hell is that weird plastic tasting oil crap that's in there? And to top it off they salt the hell out of it.

I have no clue... it's pretty nasty though.

Mavis is sooo cranky tonight. She seems to have a fussy time each night at this time and nothing quite soothes her.

I'm kind of holding my breath here. We found out one of our neighbors is moving. The woman she rents from charges her $300 less a month than what we are paying our landlord. I am soooo hoping that that particular landlord decides to continue to rent the place out and not sell it - and that maybe we could rent from her. That would be such a significant difference for us. We could buy a house before too long!
