I've only lost 1 pound this week Frown
There's a lot of weeks I've been losing just one, and I am totally fine with that. It really is better for your body to lose it more slowly...or at least you are more likely to keep it off so I've heard. Then again there are some weeks you might lose 0-1 and some where you might go down 3+. 1 lb. is still a loss and that is GREAT! Keep up the good work!

Forgot to weigh in here this morning, too much going on.....it will be one month here in the next couple days for me that I've been trying to lose weight so that's fine, will know what I'm at for the monthSmilie

ahhhh, I was wondering about the price of the tabs. I went to another store today and they were 3.89 there too. The bag of 20 was also 3.89. The actual quantimatic (or whatever) is on an endcap clearance but still 5.xx for the double pack and 4.xx for the kit.

I spent way too much oop today but I needed milk, butter, eggs, pepperoni lol lol...just didn't feel like going to the grocery store too. I noticed Gain was on sale for 9.99 for the big bottle so I was loving that. Stocked up on Halloween candy which I'm sure I will eat before Halloween gets here LMAO Stopped in Kohls for some cheap k cups. Tried to use 2 5.00 q's and got shot down. Told the cashier they let me last time so she said " well, I'll just give you 10.00 off 10.00 instead and it'll be the same. So it worked out well.

I do not understand.

Why, oh why, would you want to go into a Target, get stuff, and then pay a grand total of a buck (or less!) for it..? Why not add your bread and milk, or other items you have to have to bring your total up..?

It seems like that just draws attention to you, and a big ol' target appears on your back then - "get me, I'm getting loads of stuff for free at your store". Is it just me..? Anyone have a store where they can go get tons of stuff for little of nothing, and have them not say/do anything to you?

I would never, never do this. I suspect my stores would have me followed and stalked every time I was in the store if I did this, thinking I was doing something wrong. Not that I WOULD be doing something wrong - and the people who are doing this aren't doing anything wrong, either, they are just being smart with coupons - but it makes the store THINK you are doing something wrong, therefore causing you problems. It draws unwanted/unwarranted attention to you, I guess is what I'm saying.

I'd rather just avoid the problems and buy my bread, milk, eggs, orange juice, etc, at the same time... laugh out loud Just curious other people's thoughts on this.

I've never been comfortable having oop totals too low. If I don't buy stuff I need, I buy GC's. This time though, I didn't use overage q's, so I really did spend OOP laugh out loud

I try to keep my OOP a little higher at T, but with Publix and CVS, I have no problem with under $1 transactions. I have just about no money coming in and I don't buy for a family- I can only buy so much stuff for myself, especially since we don't have a ST here.

At T, it depends on the Q (for me). If I'm getting overage/hoping for overage or if the Q is a little vague, I'll pick up other things. But if it's for a specific product, I don't usually add much (especially if it doesn't make the item free, just cheap).

I feel the same way, for our business if refinishing work doesn't come in then neither does the money, plus there is a lot of expenses so we barely can scrape by. Dh is very talented refinisher he can make a tub look better than brand new, but he also very stubborn and doesn't want to work for anyone anymore especially at an hourly rate, because he's quick and wouldn't make much that way. That was the whole reason for his business.

My job presented itself to me, thanks to my fil? ( Mil boyfriend) and I'm very thankful I have it. We were at rock bottom and bills were way past due, they actually re'poed dh car. So this job has helped us get back on track. So I am very greatful.
Have you thought of moving to rural Illinois? I've got an old cast iron tub upstairs that the people who lived here before us ruined by letting the faucet drip for years and the finish is gone down the front. It is too freaking big and heavy to tear out and I refuse to use it until it's fixed. Wish you guys lived closer - I've been wondering how much it would cost to repair/refinish. My dh was a carpenter but do you think after living here for a year that he has made any progress on this project? shake head

As soon as either:

1) I can figure out how to move pics from my camera to the puter
or
2) DD comes home and moves pics from camera to the puter

I will upload some new ones. Big Grin

She's like a totally different baby.

nice find on cheese!

It used to be that at Kroger I could do this, but not at T. What I've started doing at Kroger is buying either T gift cards - since I know I'm going to be spending *some* money there anyways, or shell gas cards. I would do Kroger cards if I'm paying cash, but they don't let you pay for any gc's with a kroger card, so it stinks that i can't roll the gc's. Frown It is a good way to use up some cats if you have 'em and are getting a large order too. I've never had a problem spending too little at T - which is half my problem anyways... lol. My biggest problem is that I run out of cash. Frown We are sooooo strictly budgeted, there's no wiggle room. Frown

Never thought of illinois Scratchchin dh line of work would be great anywhere with old fixtures because its much easier to refinish then replace it. They do have kits at home depot to refinish your tub but that is a roll on application that looks nothing like what dh can do. He uses a high volume low pressure sprayer, it is definitely a skill
That he had to master, there is only one other refinisher I know as good as him and thats his brother.
