I can tell you a nice story...

Once upon a time, ank decided to go to the store at 7:44pm. She left the drive at 7:50 with a teenager and a 7week old in tow. Ank made it to Target and saw a lovely jedi. She got multiple produce, cheese sticks, (no bakery muffins - put away for the night!), a new rug, cheap meat, free avocados, some jelly, detergent, and a washcloth. She handed over coupons and paid, skipping happily.

Ank then decided to make a quick run to Kroger. She got some chicken, almond milk, pillsbury biscuits, vitamins, quaker snacks, chicken, and a couple miscellaneous things. She used coupons again, and left pretty happy again.

Ank drove home and found herself pulling into the driveway at 10pm. She was very excited to notice that she had spent a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes round trip to 2 stores AND the baby didn't fuss until turning the handle of the house door.

Ank has settled in to read the threads and nurse monkey child. She might have a cup of hot choklit. This night is a good night. The end.

I must really be "mean mom" - no tv/vid games in the bedroom. (I'm also mean wife for the same reason!)

My BIL & SIL are the same way. They both have high double digit salaries and for the second year in a row told us they couldn't afford Christmas (just on our side). Right. You can't afford Christmas. We haven't had a job since March but YOU can't afford Christmas (however, they have Blackberry's with data plans, Dish Network, new vehicles and their kids have every $200 toy/baby item ever made). Mad

Jenna wants an iPad!!! I started an iPad 'fund,' started filling an envie with T. gc's and random money that we didn't plan on having....and then last week I took all of the cash out and donated it to a charity that the cleaning business located directly behind us was collecting money for....is for the family of a kiddo with cancer. I just haaaaaaad to, it was so much more important. So it will be awhile for me Sadwalk BUT same said business has a drawing for a free one every month....one entry every time you post on their Facebook fan page. I post a lot Evil Drawing is Friday, *sigh* maybe just maybe......
And this is a perfect example of why I like you, too. hug

That's part of them. I have a few new things this year. Including a blimp and balloon that need to be suspended so they are "flying".
OMW, you are one of those people. Roll

This is how it is and is going to be here. I have friends who definitely had TV's in their kids' room by the time they were 3. Uhhhhh....no.

I've had a busy day, will leave you all a couple pics of what I got done on the table today, basically I've stained the legs separately and attached the aprons, etc. to the legs. The rest will have to happen in our garage and the whole thing should be done by Friday as I don't want our cars having to sit out longer than that overnight.....DH took an extra day off this week so I could take my time and he can watch the kidlet Smilie Nope, that is not backwards...I've come to the conclusion that I actually like doing what I can completely by myself. I'm a perfectionist and dh is not Teehee

status update on my life cause ya know, it's all about me until 12 pm CST. Stick Out Tongue

Tanner is watching karate kid. River woke up, cried, went back to bed after about 30 min. of momma snuggles. Makena is crashed. Ambree is outside telling my sister what she needs to be doing. (she's so bossy these days)

I still have all of my hair, I don't feel manic, and I haven't had to go anywhere near a closet.

DH is still gone and my meds have kicked in so I'm doing everything possible to stay awake.

I work 1:15 to 9:45 tomorrow and it's gonna be the suck. I wish more coupon peeps would come to my store and shop. It really does make my day go better. So all you DFW peeps that wanna coupon, PM me. Evil

I am one of those people. We have a TV in our room, living room, and each kids' bedroom. laugh out loud

Oh Dreeme - I almost forgot...

I was thinking about you and about working at T. I thought - wouldn't it be fun one day to purposely scan the "wrong" barcode on every coupon just to see what happens...

Have you seen any "couponers" at your store yet?? That would be pretty nifty.

To each their own. Big Grin Dh always said that as well but he quickly changed his mind when he had 3 kids wanting to watch things/ play games at the same time, and especially as the two girls neared the teen years. For us, it works. I do have limits on how long and when they can watch TV. For myself and oldest dd, we could go days without turning on a TV. Other people in the house, not so much. LMAO

If I keep finding TV's on clearance at T. I suppose I may change my mind at some point Evil

And geesh, all this kid has to do is flash her grin and bat her eyelashes at me and she gets what she wants LMAO She got the Shake 'n Go Rescue Squad 'Mater out of me at T. today....at least it was TPC by a couple bucks, I couldn't resist the joy when she saw that thing.

I know there are a few others here with hypothyroidism. Do any of you have any experience switching from a synthetic -- levothyroxine, synthroid, etc. -- to a natural dessicated -- Armour and a couple others I can't remember?
I just switched from Synthroid to Armour a few months ago and I love it! Huge difference in my energy levels. Also found a dr that doesn't just go by "numbers" (blood levels), but goes by how I feel. If you have any questions, PM and I'd be happy to tell you what I know! :-)

Quote from rachael_9667 :
Armour is no longer available though. Not anywhere unless something has changed in the last few months.
It actually is back on the market. It is not being made in every strength. Check with your pharmacy and find out what strengths they have and have your dr write the prescription that way.

For example, I take 120 mg. But they don't make 120's, so I had to get my dr to write a script for 2- 60 mg.

On the "Sister Wives" topic, my DH was at lunch the other day and wife #1 and soon to be wife #4 were there eating with their lawyer...

I wonder how much I'd have to take then laugh out loud I'm on 325. My new cancer doc said he was expecting Lindsay Lohan to walk in. shake head Said only one other person is on that high of a dose and he is a 350 pound man. EEK! I'm a buck sixty normally but underneath I am a much smaller person. She just hasn't seen the light of day for about 7 years. LMAO

When I hatch this kid, I'm gonna ask to be on Cytomel and Synthroid as I've heard that that's why Armour works so well b/c it is a version of those two drugs (which both do different things). I'll tell SIL that it's back, she'll be happy!

I do understand! Monkey toddler got some Chuggington trains yesterday the same way. laugh out loud

And yeah while it may seem indulgent etc to have a TV in the kid's room, sometimes that 20 minutes of quiet time can really refresh our mommy battery.

Gonna be a HUGE table, if it's as wide across as both the washer AND the dryer.

You have lots of juice, Fiber Plus, ziploc and are quite organized. But the HUGE TIDE is out of place, as I know it wasn't bought with a T deal, right?
