Whew! Finally caught up to you all! I'm not here on the weekends, and took all of yesterday to get caught up!

They scheduled DS's surgery for next Thursday. Only has to have one, the will do a graft for his 'new' ACL, then 9 months of work until he is back to normal. He is a little bummed he will miss baseball in the spring, but with all of the rehab, should be pretty buff for football next year! Now, anyone have a coupon for an anesthesiologist, surgeon, PT, etc?

I just got off of a plateau Jilly....was s t u c k for like 2 wks. w/o losing much and felt lighter this AM so I got on the scale and woot finally was down!! It was like my scale was literally stuck and would not budge! It'll pass, but I know it is hard not to get discouraged....I was starting too, especially since I knew I hadn't been over on points.

And that article is exactly why I have my dh hiding it from me laugh out loud But most of those I knew were super-bad. Tootsie rolls are surprisingly not-so-bad as long as you don't overindulge!

and speaking of me getting sick, you seem to be coming down with that bug girlie girl. too much stress.
you know the advice - start downing vitamin c and zinc and drink lots of fluids. take more vit c than you think you need. anything extra your body tosses out in urine, so it's not like vitamin a or d for example, where you can get too much. zinc you want to be more moderate about.. but a couple of pills a day for 2-3 days is no overdose. your body will thank you for it.

Hey, according to the new Folgers MFQ, they are going to have K-cups available soon!! Which hopefully they would be cheaper than the other, more gourmet flavors? Not sure. I checked T today and didn't see any Folgers K-Cups, so they may not be on the shelves yet.

Saw endcaps at both Ts I was at today, full of holiday Glade!! But no gift card info. And I scanned at one store and it didn't come up on the price check thingie, but that is becoming normal, for some reason. Anyway, I will be very sad if they don't do the gc deal this year... The colors are really pretty...

Like it's been said, get referrals and do special offers and tasks, if they are still to be had. Also, I get at least 2 if not 3 cards a month from another site and if you get referrals from that one you're set.

Dh and I aren't coffee drinkers , but inlaws insisted that we have "comfort" items for them readily available at a moments notice Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) (long story). First few times they came they complained about filters that we always lost or tossed(inlaws only visit 2x a yr). So Dh got rid of the coffe maker that required paper filters and bought a Programmable Mr coffee when it went on clearance for 75% off.

Dh and I drink coffee now, not often, but would rather use the coffee maker occassionally then just look at it sitting on our counter unused for 50 weeks

I dragged my butt to Walgreens, trying to use up some Qs and to get myself all drugged up and feeling better. Horrible experience with coupons, I'll probably never go back.

I'm don't have much experience in the department but saw part of one at a HS party. (Don't ask how a naive girl like me ended up at a party like that, I swear I was the only sober one there) I was mortified, amused, and intrigued at the movie all at the same time. Every once in a while I still think it might be amusing to find an old copy of it to watch all the way through some weekend when the DH & DS are out of town (My husband would kill me if he knew I ever bought something like that. So I keep secretly hoping some girlfriend will buy it for me.Blush3)
