I love disney world.. Summer is a hot time to go though.. We went in May the first trip we took. It was so freaking hot out in the sun. The kids were pretty good, but the heat did take it's toll on us. Crowds weren't too bad then.. Next trip was end of November.. perfect weather and crowd wiseheart Last trip we went at the beginning of June cause my SIL couldn't get off work earlier.. It was miserably crowded and very hot. I swore never again will I go that time of year..
I can do heat if I am at the pool or beach, but not heat when I am standing in lines with kiddos for 45+ minutes. I got tired of them telling me how hot, tired, and thirsty they were. laugh out loud

It is currently still sitting in the garage. I put a coat of poly on and am hoping it will dry overnight. Poly likes mildly warmer temps. and of course our temps. just dropped here today so I wanted to give it plenty of time. Another couple coats in the next two days and we'll be done. These pics were prior to the semi-gloss poly. I will have to take one once it's in the dining room! The last pic was after it was assembled, before we did the rest of the staining. The wood grain actually turned out much richer after the poly was applied. I am in love. :

Still no shopping for me.. Spent a day at home cleaning, cooking, and playing with my toddler. She and I were the only ones home tonight, so we went for a nice walk around the neighborhood. SHe was so cute telling me she saw a "hangmail moon" About 6 months ago my DH had her outside and they were looking at the moon. He was telling her how it looked like a fingernail.. She always complains when she has a fingernail that snags stuff and tells me she has a "hangmail".. so now, everytime the moon is a quarter or so, she relates it to her hangnails, laugh out loud
And on the topic of kids saying the silliest things.. she has a super keen sense of smell. Seriously, that girl can sniff out anything. You can eat one bite of something, and she will tell you what it was. She is so funny cause when she poops, she can't stand the smell and holds her nose.. Anyway, today I was eating something for lunch and she didn't like the way it smelled. SHe came over and said "what's that smell mommy?" I told her I thought it was my food, and she replied "I think it is your booty mommy"

Work sucked. The LOD isn't the funnest. The store was slooooow and I was crampy, bitchy, and not in the mood.

I had three reusable bag ladies tonight. I wanted to rip my hair out.

i'm guessing it's a pain to unfold, open, organize, line up on top of counter/scanning area and try to stuff bag. slows you down, especially when someone has lots of bags and lots of stuff. whereas with the plastic bags, they are conveniently positioned below the counter and already opened, so as a cashier you can bag much faster/more easily.

I always figures my cashiers liked my reusable bags because they just throw everything in there like they're tossing trash- seems easier to them. But then again, I use 1 or 2 bags and each are pretty large. Eh.

Yucky, rainy day, and I get to go out in it!! Ladies' Bible study at church, then I only have about 1 hour before I have to pick up Jaden from K, so I'll probably run to Rite Aid. Haven't been there at all this week yet. Faint
