I thought I'd post on here on Chit Chat that I haven't been able to keep up on the Target Deal Thread since I found out work has been monitoring web usage. I hope all my fellow Target fans continue to keep me in the loop via emails, etc even if I can only post at once in awhile.

Boy, is it hard to be a Gators fan these last 3 weeks.... Sadwalk

Sucks even more to be watching the game alone *cry*

Today is Sweetest Day. From what I understand, it is mostly celebrated in the midwest and is a made-up holiday, presumably by Hallmark and Whitman's Coverlaugh I only know about it b/c DHs restaurant is super busy tonight. Dumbest.Holiday.EVER

How is it different from Valentine's Day? Today a friend of mine (we are in NH) said her DH gave her flowers for Sweetest Day...I'm like "what?"

I know of NO difference between V-Day and Sweetest Day. The latter is just plain lame IMO.

So, went to 2 Goodwills today, looking for an old corded drill for a Halloween prop I wanted to make. I can only find cordless drills. But, my kids ended up with over 50 books from the 2 trips. We found everything from new Diary of a Wimpy Kid books (hard covers that were $1.25/ea) to lots of Boxcar Children, Captain Underpants, Geronimo Stilton, Junie B Jones, A to Z Mysteries, Goosebumps, Little House on the Prairie, Bunnicula (very excited about this, heart this book as a kid), and many, many more chapter books for $.75/ea.

So, now instead of a cage with Freddy in it that shakes when you walk by, I am going to build a window seat for my daughter's room with bookshelves under it. I'm not sure why, but I have this over whelming urge to build something Dontknow laugh out loud

Whew! DD did not puke the rest of the day. I was out of the house for a couple hours doing a photo session today and when I get back dh proceeds to inform me that dd has not gone pee at all yet today....this was at 1:15 PM OMG And I tell him that I assume that means he is giving her plenty to drink ---- ummm no. HELLO!!! Poor kid was so dehydrated she was acting pretty lethargic. Ugggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh men. Got some fluids in her and she perked up fairly quick but honestly sometimes I feel like I cannot even leave this house because all common sense goes with me. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
