Oh, you were seeerrious. I though there was some more hubbub about Target MPPs and it was a joke.
Thanks.
*laugh* Yeah... guess I should be careful and make myself more clear. laugh out loud

I know it's not funny to you... but... well...

Roll

Table is so awesome. I soooo want to build all our furniture now. Did you guys have the tools already, or have you bought them? I could totally get into woodworking big time. I used to help my father out as a kid until my brother got older and showed an interest. Then I kind of got pushed out, but I've always had a love for it. Took shop in school, etc... We just don't own any tools beyond a hammer and some screw drivers here! (dh is NOT handy)

Well, I didn't get as many Kroger runs in today as I had planned, but I got a few and it worked well. I am going to try to make myself much more organized from now on so that I can have my q's and shop earlier. Of course, that means I need money for said q's. I need to figure out how to build up some kind of reserve or something. Maybe I just need to sell some stuff on ebay and build up a paypal balance. I dunno...

I did make a small T run. Nothing uber special. No rugs at 9.99, but I saw a clearanced mat. Wish the towels would go cheaper - not that I can actually buy them right now, so maybe it's providential in that regard. My oldest wants some black ones though.

I think the baby is getting 2 teeth. Surely I've lost my mind and it's not teeth... but it sure looks like they might be.

ok, i have a super embarrassing confession to make - someone asked me for coffee creamer coupons. not sure if it was here or on deals, but I cut them, put em in envelope and attached post it note saying address and send qs to T SD'er and then it accidentally ended up in a pile of bills. was it anyone here, please? i am so so so sorry for not getting these to you sooner but if you make yourself known I will get em out tomorrow itself. sorry! Embarrassment

ank, what did you need, hon? can you poop message me LMAO and I'll see if I can help? Big Grin

For those drugstore peeps, are there any good prescription transfer deals right now? I was hoping for Wags, but when I stopped today, they said that Wags had canceled their program. There is a little town close to me that has a Wags, CVS, and Rite Aid all on the same corner, and there are several of each around Athens.

TIA!
LTL, the thread link that someone already posted is a good one to keep in mind. but in addition, RA routinely puts out RXQs in their weekly newspaper insert ads, and also as PDFs online. if you google Rite Aid Prescription coupon, you'll get links to old pdfs but may also find some that are still alive.
CVS is very good about taking them. The RA one is $25... My grocery store which has a pharmacy in it was also willing to take em, so I'm thinking a range of your stores might. I'll keep my eye out for em in tomorrow's paper.

Whew! DD did not puke the rest of the day. I was out of the house for a couple hours doing a photo session today and when I get back dh proceeds to inform me that dd has not gone pee at all yet today....this was at 1:15 PM And I tell him that I assume that means he is giving her plenty to drink ---- ummm no. HELLO!!! ...
OMG
good thing you got there in time to intervene! glad she's feeling better. hug
when we were little and got sick, if mum had to step out and dad was on sick duty, she used to write him a list of what he was supposed to do every half hour and what to do in case of a) nausea b) fever rising c) throw up d) diarrhea etc as the case maybe.
when she returned he would hand her the checklist back with all the things checked that he had done. LMAO
as it turns out, we took turns getting sick - one child next child etc, so after several rounds of this checklist business, dad finally had the routine down. LMAO

that table is JAWDROPPINGLY AMAZING... i think we all need to rent a giant moving truck filled with lumber, make a trip to IA, drop off the wood and plans and head to texas with our empty truck to wipe out dreeme's store and bring you back some thank you goodies. then back to IA, get our own trucks, fill with the newly made furniture and T stash and go our merry way.
it'll be our gift to you - you know to help you douse that building urge for a bit. Evil

I would have went to the manager and said that some guy was harrassing you and you'd like to file a police report. You feel unsafe.
meeshe, i totally agree with dreeme. you should've complained.
that being said, get this - i actually feel bad for these target fake cops. at every store i've been to, they look clueless and bored and like they're feeling awkward/self-conscious. it's a sucky job to have to just have to stand there, or pace around in circles, not looking at anyone in particular lest they complain about you, but just trying somehow to stay aware of thing around you lest something does go wrong and you get yelled at for not doing your job. imagine just having to stand around like that for 8 hours. no one really talking to you much. nowhere to go, nothing concrete to do. how boring. and how exhausting to be on your feet like that non-stop. no fun.

OR we could all meet up in TX, shop til we drop, have a build-fest, and then haul it all back home LMAO

Ank - we had *most* of the tools. We did one project w/o owning a miter saw because dh *thought* we could do it without it and weeeeeeelllllll I would really suggest that particular tool. I am a very accurate individual but I will not saw shake head I am super-terrified of them so I measure all of our cuts and dh does that part. Anyway, the miter saw is way more accurate for most everything...so it compensates for dh's carelessness and inaccuracy. I love him but it is funny how we definitely complete each other when it comes to this stuff...I measure, he cuts, we both assemble, he does the sanding, and I do the finishing Smilie Our miter saw was like $110-$120 at Harbor Freight.....I would be they'd have a deal on them come Black Friday. And I would not go for a cheaper 10" miter saw because it can't cut 1x12's which we've used in 80% of our projects. Go for a 12".

Otherwise these are the tools/supplies we use for every project:

Drill(s)
Countersink drill bits
Palm sander
Tape Measure
Square
Wood Filler
Wood Glue
Sandpaper
Finishing supplies (stain/paint, brushes, etc.)
Brad/finish nailer (semi-optional, the cheap ones are probably all going to require an air compressor though - expensive) You can always use a regular hammer and nails - just takes longer.

The stuff above isn't too bad cost-wise. We don't go for brand names; we get most tools at Harbor Freight or if I find it on clearance, etc. DH is very handy so we already had a ton of this on hand anyway. But if you're planning on a whole house of your own furniture like we are it's well-worth the investment.

ITA with thismom that a miter saw is very helpful. We didn't need one for the beds but want to make a bed frame next year so will need something.

After Christmas, keep an eye on T's endcaps for a compressor with air tools. I think it's $100 ish, we bought it clearance either this year or last for $30 ish. Dh also has a 1/4 inch staple/ brad gun ($30 at Lowe's) that was sufficient for some small projects.

BTW so if I'm at a store that sells the up&up window cleaner for 97 cents but the shelf is empty for 3 visits during a two week time span, would it be possible to get a raincheck or 4? Evil The other stores in the area sell the same cleaner for $1.99. Which is why the one store is always out of stock....

Honestly, dh and I are doing so much modifying and making of our own plans that I am seriously thinking about designing and making some stuff to sell on CL.
You could make some serious $$, as you made a gorgeous table that would be nice in anyone's home.

that part is easy! swagbucks...

... AND, i was just coming to post this, are any of you on zoombucks?it's like Sb, same idea - points for searches, points for referrals, points for special offers and shopping and some of the daily activities. but seems easier to get points. i just started last night thanks to a super sweet SD'er. already have 1000 points = $10 gc. they have cards for amazon, sephora, T heart for the same price... plus many, many, many, many other stores. haven't checked if HD or lowes are on there, but very possible given the vast selection.

if you haven't done SB yet, my suggestion would be to do that first, so you get a sense of the methods. cos the SB site is much easier to navigate/much more user-friendly/visually appealing. the ZB site seems very rudimentary and is confusing. unless you already know the basics from SB.

I tried for hours to find something to use my $15 on. I really need a need bra, but even with all my coupons, it was $25. Still too expensive to justify something I doubt will fit (and damn you VS for taking DDs out of your stores)

SB people are sweeties, as long as you don't post in the code only thread.

Thanks for the comments about the sig. Have you seen the "it gets better" videos on Youtube? They break my heart and so many of them hit home. I always have to remind myself that things will get better and life will be okay one day Smilie

Feeling sorta better, btw. Still incredibly rundown, but I can't tell if that's from being sick or a side effect from my medication. Not sure how to differentiate that.

It looks worse than the first site I designed way back when! LMAO But it pays out better than swagbucks. I joined last Thursday and just cashed out another Amazon, that's $50 so far.
