To perm or not to perm.... Hair is longer than shoulder length (needs shaped too, that isn't likely to happen). It is straight and fine but the real problem is that because of this $#(*#)(*$)*$% thyroid it is very thin. As in, I have lost a lot of hair and am pretty sure I'm losing more.

I haven't had a perm in ages -- a couple years maybe. And that one didn't take and it was done at a beauty shop. I think I heard somewhere that this isn't unusual with hypothyroid people, I have no idea why.

I swore I wouldn't perm ever again -- hard on the hair, it's bad hair anyway, etc. etc. I keep having perm urges. Actually, there is one in the cupboard. My hair is so thin and so freakin flat that I just want some body. 99% of the time it's in a pony tail or up in a clip.

What really irritates me is that I have always had fine hair but it was really thick -- fine hair will do whatever you want it to do IF you have a lot of it.

I HATE THIS! ok pity party over.
I have the opposite problem hug My hair is super thick and its wavy so it doesn't look good unless I put a lot of gel/leave in conditioner and crink it up so then it looks like I have a perm or I spend forever straightening it. So I wear mine up all the time too so I feel for ya!

If I have a complete mental breakdown tonight, does that mean I can't have my scissors to cut Qs in the loony bin?

Sorry about the job Jamie. I agree with the rest of the posters that they should have something in writing that you sign as a new employee.

Sorry everyone seems to have had a bad Monday. hug

Today I flipped off this HORRIBLE driver that almost ran me off the road. I mean, this person totally deserved the bird. I realized as I was making eye contact with the driver, with my finger in the air, that it was my sweet little study partner! I never knew what kind of car she drove. We are supposed to get together this weekend...awkward! How/Should I apologize? Is this an appropriate "give-a-box of glade" situation?

I am pretty sure she recognized me too...it was kind of a deer in headlights moment for her. laugh out loud

Yeah, I don't want her to think I am excusing her bad driving but I kind of need access to her study guides, so maybe I will be really punctual and bring her a Starbucks. Coverlaugh

LOL! I did write water and then thought it totally didn't make sense...especially if you know me and how little water we drink. Coffee and whiskey mostly around these parts. laugh out loud

Is anyone still collecting the amazon diaper codes? I have one that starts with a "Y" if someone needs it. I actually think I have stockpiled enough diapers for my kids Bigeye

TCC Hy-Vee'ers.....someone posted in the HV thread that they saw they ad early and it has the buy 6 GM cereals, get $10 off and a $6 cat again woot woot $1/1 Cinn. Toast Crunch q's from the Better at Home books are good through 10/25 Evil

Cuz I really need more cereal.........Teehee I'm hoping to find some healthier stuff that I can live with. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is OK but it is super-non-diet-friendly and so much stinkin' sugar!

Well, my "in-my-head scenario" would be something like dreeme posted. In reality, it would probably be something like not say anything, take a starbucks as a quiet peace offering and if she says anything, be like "That was YOU??? Duuuudeee.... I thought you were going to kill me! I'm glad we didn't get into an accident..." and leave it at that while cracking my book open. Who knows, maybe she'll be bringing you starbucks... lol.
