So I'd forget to cook his dinner, forget to do his laundry, let him run out of personal care products, and switch the TP to the most awful kind you can find (hide a roll of good tp for yourself!). Oh and play sick or whatever everytime he wants sex. Although if he is anything like mine, that won't work, I have to tell him what I want. Once I learned that it's smooth sailing. I just tell him what I want and no more frustration on either of our parts.
sounds like my DH too, if I dont say anything then I wont get anything either, Im ignored for the most partshake head

hughug I think we should kick our husbands arses into a house together... they would be like wtf!?! They would not know what to do for themselves... My dh thinks that I should be able to do it all then when stressed out... I am still supposed to smile... I mean come on... I get up at 1 and 2 in the morning if he wants food and cooks for him w/o complaint and then wake back up with the other kids to take them to school... errrrrrrrr men
that would be a site, my husband would be wallowing in his own filth. He can feed himself but not clean up after him self, I am more like a maid then anything, sometimes I just want to stop doing everything and let it pile up and see how he would react, but we live with others and Im sure they would talk crap so..........

I'm not ignored, but it's like pulling teeth. I don't ask him what he wants for dinner, you eat what I cook ad that's that. He's a good guy though, not picky, so I'm lucky. Although I hate picking where we eat out, and so does he. We've resorted to letting DD pick, and I'm a bit tired of Sushi and Steak all the time LMAO

another night and the same big tasks await yet again (i feel like bill murray in groundhog day) - do multiple dishes, including large pots and put away all the leftovers.

remind me again: why do i cook fresh, healthy meals from scratch everyday knowing i'll be doing all the work in the lead up and all the cleanup after without any help or any offer of help?

I would help you clean up, things go faster when theres someone to help out. I am the same way cook all the meals, most of the time from scratch (depending on how tired I am) and I have to clean up the aftermath

Don't perm is my vote. Instead I would just use some curlers and set it that way. I beg for my hair to be permed every time I go in, but they won't do it. If you've had a past history of it not holding, I wouldn't waste the time/money.
Heat rollers curl it a little but it doesn't stay. I don't particularly want to curl and fix it every day -- I absolutely wouldn't. But it would be nice if my pony tail wasn't a limp straggle that looks like it has mange. Years ago, when did perms, my hair took really really well and they lasted. The last one that I actually paid for is the one that didn't. Money isn't really a consideration -- the perm cost all of five bucks.

If I can garner enough ambition tomorrow I may head into town and get it cut/trimmed/shaped up a little.

I think I want the perm, I'm just a little worried about what might happen at this point.

Awww, you made me sad! Don't ever say you aren't a peach prize! We are all worth our weight in gold. Each of us has our own special characteristics that makes us whom we are. So what if you are model thin, or have big boobs, or maybe you aren't good at math. (okay, I'm just stating those things, I don't know if any of them are true)That doesn't matter. What matters is that you are who you are. I bet you are a wonderful mother, and any man should appreciate that.

I've always put myself on the back burner, but I've finally started doing more for myself. Even if it's taking time to go for a walk by myself, or taking a bath. The simple things in life are sometimes the best.

I think you need a hug

and.... did you like it???

Are there any good freebies to be had at the mall these days? I'm taking the kids to get their pictures done in their Halloween costumes tomorrow and I figured I might as well get some crap for free while I'm there. I printed a $5 Rack Room Shoes and Free Lip with purchase at BBW. Wondering if there is anything else.
It was OK, I would still prefer vodka. There is a sears 10/20 Apparel cpn
Do you have the VS free panty cpn they send out in the mail

Yeah, I don't want her to think I am excusing her bad driving but I kind of need access to her study guides, so maybe I will be really punctual and bring her a Starbucks. Coverlaugh
Oops. You could always tell her that you were just scratching your nose, or your hand was hurting so you were shaking it out.

Yeah, that bothered me a little bit. I know they just have best intentions, but when I can barely afford $1.50/bag AC, telling me to buy a natural brand at 10x that cost is out of the question (as much as I would like to buy it, it's not possible).

Oh well.
hug The only thing I would caution on is the Ol Roy. They have had a lot of recalls for contaminants in the dog food.

Ok guys tiny rant... I am feeling like a biotch totally tonight... stressing out.. ok how many of you have NEVER been away from your kids except to go to school or work (but I mostly work from home) so I have them at work too... and I only take classes one night a week and thats it...if I need to go somewhere I bring all 8 of them or if I need to do homework, I have to take care of all 8 of them and do it... then my dh does not understand why I am always stressed out...

we were discussing it today and he told me well we are not in the position for you to be able to have any time off...wtf!?! Mind you he does NOT work as he is in Pharmacy school.. ok no problem... but he also is in school for classes from 8-5pm comes home, eats dinner, then leaves and may not come home until 11-12ish sometimes later from studying and IF he spends anytime with us, we will go out on Saturday then he is gone all day Sunday except dinnertime... is it really that hard to comprehend what I am getting pissy about?
Sing it sister! Dh does work full time but when he's home, he's usually sitting on the couch or at a computer desk and barely moves except to eat dinner. When I complained about the uneven work split, he offered to take over paying bills. Sure, oh yeah that will help a lot. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Same here. Empty cereals boxes and soda cans are left wherever he puts them when he's done. He'll announce he's going to bed and just go. Later I realize I'm once again left to throw things away, etc. It gets old.

Rollers don't work well for me either. Just don't let them talk you into layering it. Last time I had my hair cut, the stylist insisted it would give my hair more body. Now I have 25 different lengths of hair, the longest being only chin length Mad, and the hair from the crown that grows down towards my ears is cut so off from the rest that I look like I have puppy ears. Yet the hair is too short to cut AGAIN to fix it.

That is exactly true! hug

chuckle for the day- monkey toddler has some sinus issues/ cold so I offered him 1/4 of a chewable Benadryl this morning. I told him it's medicine for his nose.

He promptly stuck it in his nostril.Embarrassment

hug I am so sorry.

Let me know if you need us to round up a TCC posse and do a little Chairbash on their sorry behinds.

Cuz I really need more cereal.........Teehee I'm hoping to find some healthier stuff that I can live with. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is OK but it is super-non-diet-friendly and so much stinkin' sugar!
OMFG!!! Dance13 THANK YOU for the heads up. I never found out about the deal the last go round until the very last day and there is a very impoverished daycare near my work that could so use the free cereal.
