Glad you got it! I have 3 huge bottles of synthroid in my cupboard. I wish I could take it somewhere and they could give it to someone who can't afford it... Anyone know of a place that will take it?
that is an Rx, right?
if so, if the bottles are still sealed and unexpired, some organizations that provide medical care overseas (Dominican, Haiti etc) might take it. also some states have laws allowing patients to donate sealed, unexpired meds to designated pharmacies/clinics etc that can redistribute.

here [ncsl.org] is a list of states and what they allow.

This week I was building my daughter a window seat / bookshelves for all her new (used) books we got last weekend at Goodwill. Now, with all her books on the shelves, she still has a ton of open space on her bookshelves, so now she thinks she needs more books.

It wasn't my preference for colors, but lilac is her new favorite color (was blue last week, and pink before that), so it had to be lilac. Fabric, also her choice, is monkeys in karate outfits. She loves it though, she's slept on it the last two nights. It's 24"w x 67" l x 21" h, so it's perfect for a spare bed for her room. I wish I would have bought the 2" foam, instead of the 1" though.
That is way cute... if you lay the books flat and sideways for now with bindings out it will look fuller. More books is always a good thing .

That is AWESOME! Love it! Reminds me - somehow I need to talk hubby into doing things for me tomorrow while I'm having the yard sale. Things like building the set of bookshelves I bought months ago on 75% clearance at Target. nod

Had a wonderful morning. Me and my girls went to Rite Aid, Safeway, Target, and Kohls, and things went fantastically at all four places. Whee How often does THAT happen?? Actually found more clearanced Starbucks at Rite Aid, so that made me happy. Now I still have to get out and get the rest of my FASCR items.

The Fisher Price section still had lots of selection at Kohls. I got a little camera that was $2.xx ac, and some nesting pots and pans for $1.xx. Definitely a good time to set aside for Christmas, before it gets picked over by the hordes in the next month or so. Since both my girls' birthdays are in December, I have to make sure I'm set well ahead of time.

And for Target - it is just what I was thinking. Since every.single.coupon beeps, the cashiers just push whatever button required to get the coupon accepted. Only non-beepers are 14s. Oh, and the stray TQ that is actually programmed properly.

Found a Belkin Ipod Touch armband holder thingie marked down to 4.98. Got it for hubby for his birthday. Figured it'd be good for when he mows the lawn and such. Plus he's been wanting to get back into running, so maybe that'll help??

All right, off to take care of laundry and do other housework. Happy Friday afternoon, all!!

If I weren't out and driving today, I would!

GC fiasco- only wanted Curel because it would be free AC/GC and didn't have the money to pad my order like I needed. Ughhh. Hoping that another T will let me do missed coupons.

I haven't been to T and tried a y GC deals. But I was wondering -- why can't you go through the line, buy the crap, use the coupons, and pay. THEN, go to customer service and say hey I didn't get my GCs give em to me now. Won't they fix it just like they would a price mistake or missed coupon?

So, Kalli, are you moving right now -- as in that is why you are driving?

well, the register will prompt for the GC when the items are scanned and not let the transaction continue until they give you the GC? So, I don't think that would work.. They just need to get their crap together..

Trying to eat good today.. Just has some baked squash with cheese for lunch. It was yummy!!

Not target for me, but maybe tomorrow!!

I gotta figure out something for supper. I don't wanna. Contemplating boneless ribs -- mainly cuz I'm lazy, it's easy, and I can't think of anything else. Doubt if hubby will be thrilled but he will eat them. And then there are the carbs -- I scrape all the BBQ sauce off mine and hope that what little lingers isn't over my carb limit for the day.

There's some hamburger out there. Meat loaf sounds good but DD is home and she hates it. Cubed stead. Rib Eyes but we just had those. Chicken - yuck, plus we just had fried chick. I swear, there are times when I wish I had one of those controlling husbands that demands specific meals. This diet also takes all the fun out of cooking. But, it's working.

If you are to the point where it prompts, you should be good to go, shouldn't you? I thought it wasn't prompting if you didn't have a extra charges padding your total.

Start early -- like a month ago. Learn to say no. What do you get behind and bombarded with? Seriously, start doing a lot of it way ahead. My cookies used to always get done early since I store the in the freezer anyway -- they don't freeze solid so you can take them out on the spur of the moment to serve. MMMM and they are nice and soft. I hate hard cookies. Ok, enough. There will be no cookies this year.

Seriously, though, missing the outer part of your eyebrows is one of the symptoms that almost all hypothyroid people have. Before everything kind of went to hell and I determined something was seriously wrong -- I kept wondering how I was plucking my eyebrows in way to far since I was being so extra careful not too. Never gave it a thought that it was a sign of something else. Just figured I was tweezer happy.
