for the record i have the worst nausea and dizziness from being in a pre-migraine zone. can't take imitrex cos it will only make both those symptoms worse.
i'm annoyed. family member put on this incredibly strongly perfumed body lotion at gym. it has this strong powdery note that everyone in my family knows triggers my migraines. took about 5 mins before i started feeling sick. the answer - oh well, that's ok, i am leaving.

yes, but the scent of you is not going anywhere. and neither is my allergic reaction.
the windows are open. i lit odorless candles to absorb the smell. turned on fans. nope, the smell is still there in the lr room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, foyer. bedroom. everything reeks. and my head is shrieking in response.
so i'm sitting alone on the couch, in complete darkness, since i'm now light sensitive also, and trying desperately not to cry over this vertigo and nausea.

remind me again... why do we have family?

getgreen, that was me! The banner ad showed that the HP app can print from coupons.com.yummy Dh is sitting here laughing at me because I think it's exciting to print coupons from my phone.

And, is it wrong to drool over this?

http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.asp...0Piece-Set

...
i'm off the belief that it is never wrong to drool over something/someone. laugh out loud shows you are alive and engaged! Big Grin

that being said, laugh out loud qvc prices on easy pay items are often inflated. don't get me wrong, i love their easy pay option. we used it to a buy a tv several years ago. however, you just have to know going in that it is priced higher because of that and then do you research - is the difference small enough to make it worth it because of easy pay? or is it a big enough difference that you'd be better off saving up and getting it somewhere else.
it really varies depending on the item at qvc, so you have to do your research.

calphalon pans are generally poorly made. not suprised about chipping.

don't forget to look on ebay and also macys. you can get some great, great deals on cookware.

coupons.com printing from phone - that would indeed be Fabulous. especially because one could pull up the site on the phone and print to a printer in store and show the managers that claim a q is fraudulent. Bonk

If I win the lottery, I'll buy you all iPads

eta: I can't be the only person that thinks about what they would do if they won a jackpot, right? Or is that only what you think about when you have no money? lol
listen girl, don't knock it. dreaming big is the first step to getting there. making plans is very important. i kid you not - i really believe in "see it, believe it, be it"

there's a show (can't remember which channel) called "the lottery changed my life" ever seen it?

it has stories of people who played and won - profiles them from when they bought ticket, what happened, how much they won, what they did with, how and if it changed their lives, what they are doing now. well, in most cases, the winners are people who believed and held fast to the belief that they would win. one was a woman in texas. a single mom, with a sick brother, and extended family in grave financial distress, she was certain she had to win. so she thought of a number -- it was something like 273 million or some massive number like that. she picked the number cos it was her brother's lucky number. she wrote out the amount fully with every zero on a pc of paper, put the paper under her pillow and every night she would envision the lottery check with all the numbers on it and what she would do with the money etc.

eventually - just 2-3 years later - she won. guess how much? nod

... Both Jobs had bosses who were very Cheap. And an IT guy that was basically a friend of the owner who would come over to help in a pinch. In other words they had no virus software to speak of before the breach.

And like you I found the info on how to do the temporary fix by checking out a site similar to SD but for Tech Heads. Can't remember the site though so I'll have to book mark the one you mentioned for future reference.

Also interested in trying the whole sandbox thing. I've heard of it before but keep thinking it will be difficult to set up. Crazy, even though I'm a bookkeeper now I technically I have a Masters in programming but I HATE dealing with IT troubleshooting stuff.
sandboxie is very easy on all the basic stuff. i've gotten not-interested-in-tech-things family members to start using it for their machines, with no issues.

i wrote up a sandboxie primer for people on another SD thread months ago. have it still. can send your way if you need it. but i don't think you will. it was simple enough that i downloaded it, checked out a few menus and i was in business.

aumha is a great, great site. run by tech heads, for users of all proficiencies. there is a list of precleanup you're supposed to do before you post your problem in the correct forum by starting a new thread about your machine. experts read the threads and someone who knows they can help you takes you on as their case, and posts step by steps for you to do. you do them, report back and so it goes, until your problem is solved and the thread closed as resolved. it really is amazing - free step by step help by a knowledgeable person doing it just as community service.

I have sooooo many kitchen gadgets but not enough room to store them all.. its the sucks... not only that but I am cooking for 10 people everyday... which is crazy amounts... my parents tell me all I do is cook all day and clean diapers... ain't that the truth...lmfao
Me too, and I'm only cooking for 6. LMAO Heck my toaster oven takes up most of one corner, KitchenAid mixer takes up another huge section of counter. Both are too big to put in a cabinet, IF I had cabinet space to spare. The cabinets have the wonderful idea but impractical slide out shelves. I don't have space for baking pans so they are stored in the oven. When I'm using the oven, the baking sheets sit on the dining table. *sigh* I do have a nice sized pantry though, it's almost as big as the coat closet in the hallway. It's about 2 ft deep and 4 ft across.

We don't have a linen closet upstairs though, in a 4 bedroom house. Confused

I admit, I had never heard of BonJour cookware so I googled it. Embarrassment It's $539 for the same set at amazon, $540 at Macy's (I know, non-coupon price). It's not something I'm gong to buy today but I was bored and wanted something to look at. laugh out loud

My devious thought about coupons.com via the phone was that there are 4 Android phones in my house. That's 8 more prints of each coupon. woot

I can't complain much, we moved here after living in a 3 bedroom duplex that was oh so cramped. But it fit our budget.

HAHA!! Men are definitely overrated to an extent..ask mine he never remembers a birthday yet...

I have to agree with you that whatever fits in the budget is the best... I hate when people go out and buy outlandish homes and find them in foreclosure b/c they could never afford the house to start with... I am so budget conscious...

I'm not the most budget conscious but I'm trying to be better.

And yes, I should have added, to an extent. The extent that he doesn't read the entire notice on something so it costs double because the deadline, that was in bold print, was missed. Mad

We've sat down so many times over the years, and discussed this exact thing, and it still goes right out of his head until the next time he says, where does all the money go? laugh out loud

Of course, now his griping about Target has decreased a lot since we started doing yard sales. Wink
