I got the P&G insert in my local paper today. Most of the P&G BOGOs are 01. The only one that isn't is Crest Rinse (Buy One 946ml or larger, Get One 500ml or smaller). I was also hoping for another $10 toothbrush one, because I still have a RC for the Vitality at CVS....oh well, you win some and you lose some.

Some of my cashiers are getting better at handling all my Qs, some not so much. The ones that scrutinize every word on every Q take all the fun right out of it. On my last trip I almost just asked for all my Qs back and walked away. But this is my only (convenient) T, so I suffered through it and added that cashier to my Reading Rainbow list.

OK minor gripe here. I managed to track down 3 of the Garmin 1690 GPS' on clearance for $100. One was for myself but I had seen them selling on Flea-Bay in the $240 range. So I thought what the heck I'd buy them and try to flip them on the Bay to earn some X-mas Cash. Seemed like a win win. Double my investment and convert my T GC's into actual cash in the bank.

But shortly after listing my two everyone else started listing theirs and each new person seems determined list theirs at a slightly lower cost than the previous lister. Now the lowest BIN listing is down to around $189. I understand why people are doing this but it just bugs me that we as sellers are only hurting ourselves by trying under cut each other. If we would all just stand firm we could all sell our items for a similar price eventually.

This is one reason why I hardly ever do the bay anymore.

** oh and for my KC TCC'ers those last 2 were not easy to get. They were actually on the shelve in Olathe still tagged at $279 but ringing up INF I had to do a bit of fast talking to convince the store manager to go ahead and sell it to me at all and even more to convince her to go to 75% off even though the last price in her system was only 30% off. Guess I'm trying to say I don't feel guilty for having taken the chance away from someone else finding them since they were already destined for salvage.

same here. gonna be a target deal grammar police and say a strategically placed comma would have helped.

I have never been a part of the official thread (not even sure where to find it...) but I have been doing really good for a while now. Hopefully the scale will start noticing and move accordingly Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

and since the 'big update' I just don't feel confident enough to bother with hardcore toupons Sadwalk
i think you need an invite from gt to post in the diet group. she's traveling right now and only popping in when she can this wk. i suggest pm'ing and asking for an invite. but why don't you read and get up to speed? it's here-
https://slickdeals.net/forums/group.php?groupid=161

all my targets are now 1tq per trans. i hardly ever go anymore. that and i'm working on using down my stockpile. it was getting out of hand.

Quote from tootsie67 :
I used *some* toupons but not enough to warrant carrying my TCC card Hide I haven't ordered toupons in about 2 months. I was actually going all noob and using 1 of each coupon from the P&G and combining with TQs. Sad state of affairs Wink
i've never ordered toupons Hide

so unless i got lucky and somehow got hold of more than 1 bogo, i always target the newbie way.

Howdy, guys! Rainy, HUMID day here - in the mid-70s! We really need to get back to the fall weather, because my kids only have one or two short-sleeve shirts in their drawers! laugh out loud I thought I was safe waiting until mid-October to change out their summer/fall wardrobes, but apparently not!

For anyone who's doing Rite Aid this week, how many candy bars have you gotten? I've only gotten one full deal in, not sure I have quite enough coupons left to do another one. Probably will do it, just use Ups to cover the rest. WIsh I had more of the NYC coupons. Of course, I've about wiped out two of my stores, just doing one deal at each store. Someone has definitely gone before me clearing the shelves. That's what I get for not going until Wednesday!

Um, should I be concerned if my 3yo daughter just came and asked my 5yo son if he wanted to come and be the doctor?? Rofl2 EEK!

OK, so ... anyone been to the American Girl Place in NYC? Got any slick deals for it? I am hoping to go the second weekend in Dec with my family. I have never been to NYC when its decorated for Christmas, and I really want to see that. Plus, it'll be partly to celebrate my middle child's birthday, so I want to go there. Hubby's aunt lives in NJ, so we'll stay there. I'm really excited because I love NY, I just want to make sure we can afford it.

OHHHH Rockefeller center at Christmas is pretty and the ice skating rink adds a charming touch ,you look down on it from street level.

If you get a chance pop into that gimongo church St Peter's Cathedral around the corner, It's amazing, you can pop in the back listen if there is a mass and pop out the back
they won't even know you were there . It is gorgeous and huge.

Sorry don't have any 411 on American Doll store . Frown

The church sounds like fun. Can't remember if I've been in that one before.

Teehee It ended up being quite harmless - they had pushed his bed away from the wall and were standing behind it, like at a counter, and taking notes. Unfortunately, the "taking notes" part included writing with colored pencil on his fire engine bed... Doh My kids are obsessed with writing with their crayons/colored pencils EVERYWHERE except for on paper. I warned them if it happens again, all the crayons and pencils go in the trash.

I don't mind it. The only thing I DO mind is the gift card thing. I would be all over the Glade deal, the Always, dog food, Curel deals if it weren't for that. I am still slowly doing them, but its a pain in the butt.

That's not the one near Ground Zero, right? It doesn't look familiar, so I'm guessing I've never been inside it.

I do have a few Mr. Clean erasers. Big Grin And its one of those things that's always in the back of my mind, so I just need to buckle down and make them do it.

time to buy emergency tuna and frozen food/frozen dinners. i'm not a frozen dinner advocate, but there are just times in life that you are happy to have them around. my bff is an experienced frozen food eater. until i met her i never knew people took them to work to eat. she says the best are bertolli pasta meals. target does sales and gc deals and there are coupons all the time. our emergency food is frozen ling ling dumplings from costco. just have to keep the sodium in check.

i occasionally do a jr bacon cheeseburger (for the iron) and side salad from the dollar menu at wendys and drink water, or a salad meal but i don't like the salads they have right now. bk i do the whopper jr and small onion ring. not a fan of mcd's so i'd probably just do some dollar menu items.

or, next time, if you made it all the way to midnite b4 looking for food, sometimes i just forget dinner and go to sleep.

I *kind* of like it...

Quote from flugette :

This would be my problem. I've done 1 curel deal and haven't done anything else. It would require returns of stuff. There's only so much "um, I changed my mind" you can do at a register!

The other issue is that I can't use as many q's as I used to - so I am either just not shopping, or doing multiple transactions over multiple days - which stinks when you have 97 other things going on!! The beeps have added a lot of time to the checkout process, so I've been trying to keep them small so my cashiers don't freak on me.

I know... there's the sentiment that if T is going to program the registers to beep, then couponers should push the limit and run with the beeps, but for *me* it just ends up with ticked off cashiers and more difficult coupon runs. *sigh*

I am definitely NOT spending as much money there as I used to - and if it weren't for the produce coupons right now, I'd probably be pretty much MIA. Hope they have something stellar coming out after 11/6.
