He gets in these clean it out modes where he just throws away tuns of stuff he thinks is junk/trash. And then boxes stuff up never to be found again. Like all our snow shoes!!!!!!!!!!
Our girls would not clean their rooms, his solution was to go in there and put everything that was on the floor in totes and garbage bags. He said he would go through it and I told him I would help. He has never done it. And he put everything, like books, mixed up toys, clothes, broken stuff, papers, broken crayons, beads, dolls, just all of it, he actually went and got his snow shovel to do it. I think that is weird! Their rooms were clean for a long time since they had less toys and junk but they still had enough left that their rooms still get messy. We just need to toss it all!
Now we have totes and totes and bags of random crap all boxed up.

The reason I bolded your words is OMG we could be married to the same man. I finally broke my husband of boxing up our stuff. I said the exact same thing to him many many times, "you box up our stuff, and we never see it again," "you hide things from me when you box them up." If it was up to him everything we owned would be in a box. I have hunted and hunted for things and had to re-buy them like you said, because I can't find them and he forgets where he put them after he boxed them up. I needed to return my GPS that was acting up, and I couldn't find the box or receipt. I asked him where it was and where do you think it was? In a box someone of course. Ugh! My receipts might be a disorganized mess, but I'll tell you what I can find any one of them that I have saved within a matter of minutes. Finding the GPS box and receipt that he boxed up was a different story of course, that took us almost 45 minutes.
As far as throwing things away, if I didn't have the occasional fit he would throw out all our paperwork, books etc... that he didn't box up that is and deemed unnecessary trash. He now knows not to throw anything out until I can find the time to look through it (which seems to be never), and paperwork is to be put into stacks, not boxes, until such time. It may be more messy, which drives him nuts, but I can find everything and nothing important gets thrown out.
It has only been a few months since my uncle committed suicide, this is worrying me, I am gonna look up the police and see if they can do a check on her or something...
If you're concerned (for future reference), easiest number to remember is Hopeline at 1800SUICIDE- they can always get you in touch with local police and/or mental health teams in the area.
She is just screwing herself more than me, because I refuse to stoop to that level and sell for nothing. In some of the cases of her pricing I don't even see how she can price it that low, and still make money, as her prices are what I paid after coupons practically. I don't have time during my flea market to walk around pricing her stuff or have people do it for me, but I do have customers who tell me some of her prices or I see the things in their bags and ask them.
Eventually she will sell out of her things for the unrealistic low prices and people will buy from me at my fair prices. Some people tell me they will pay my prices, because they don't like her. I don't know her, but she must have some kind of attitude or something for my customers to tell me this. The way I see it is if she can sell for nothing and make money good for her, but I can't. I still make good money without giving the store away, and I have a feeling even if she sells more volume then me, and I am not sure that is even true, she doesn't make as much as me, because she sells to cheaply. I have also heard she does not have her things neat like me, nothing is clearly priced, and things look dirty sometimes.
After all that low pricing on some things however, she really has wonky prices on other things. For instance, she asks $1.50 for the glade carpet sprinkles, which seems high to me. I sold mine for $1, but raised the price to $1.25 since she asked more. I guess I do alternative pricing, but raising my prices when she is higher. I don't like to lower prices, because I feel I am fair. Plus it isn't all about what the product costs, there is coupon costs, gas costs, car wear and tear, time and effort etc... I'm sure those that sell understand.
I don't understand why she just doesn't price things the same as me if she is so worried about it, can't she still sell to some people with the same pricing? If not she is in the wrong business. When I lower any prices to come close to her strange pricing, which is rare, my stuff flys. No way am I going to sell my Schick Hydro Razors for $2 ever. And I sell the heck out of the big imotions at $4 each, so when people say they have seen them for $2.50 from the other seller (her, others in the market aren't as crazy), I tell them to buy them for that price if they can find them, but I'm sorry I can't sell that low. What is strange is the fact that at least half these people are back at my booth buying at my prices. I guess if people want them for her prices they will have to buy when she has in stock, and maybe even a bit dirty. Maybe I am the Target of the flea market and she is the Kmart, I don't know I don't have time like she does to walk around and see, as unlike her I am very busy non-stop.
I'm sure at her silly prices her stuff goes fast, and they will soon be coming to me. My sales tell that story. It does aggravate me that I was the only one doing this regularly 3 years ago and now I have lots of competition. I do understand and don't begrudge anyone from getting the idea from me, or just starting to do it, but why on earth sell just to give the stuff away. It makes no sense for any of us sellers.
Well I have been trying to catch up but then I get home from Target and check facebook and a really old friend (we were roommates in college like 15 yrs ago and lost touch 15 yrs ago) posted this:
WTH! Does that sound like a suicide note?

I lived on Xanax when I went through my divorce and it was probably since I had no support system whatsoever. Come to think of it, I drank a lot, too.

Saw this in HD:
Here is the link for a $8 TS3 Coupon [go.com]... no $10 coupon this time?
IIRC, next week's ad has this priced at $15.99?

No Target here. There is a Walgreens but I haven't done any shopping. I took a quick look at the thread and didn't see anything that excited me enough to try to work up a rolling deal.
I think the other dieters need to beat me with a celery stalk. I have been HORRIBLE. My mother bought some of those maple cream cookies. And then she had some little chocolate doughnuts. I brought a few Target muffins. Pizza last night, spaghetti the night before. I am going to be so sorry when I get home. Actually, I'm already sorry but that isn't stopping me from eating this muffin right now.
Better get off here and pay attention to the conversations around me. Talk to ya later!
:ok, seriously, i'm a bounty person. i know some people here are viva people. when out of bounty, I don't mind brawny.
here's what i do: every time there is a sale on bounty at cvs i plan a deal and get some. i work out the scenarios so the PT's are free. that way i always have a few packs on hand. generally there are bounty deals every month, but good deals every 2-3 months at cvs.
so i do them every time there is a good deal.
as a safety, i do some padding deals on cheapo PT from time to time - like when there were those insert TQs on bounty basic, i ordered the tqs and got 20 rolls. cost me about 1.25 or so for all the rolls together. that way i had those rolls on the side to use for floor spills and bathroom cleaning and such tasks. that slowed down the use of the regular bounty.
also, there is a store here that has marcal paper towels for 99c/roll. the 1/1 marcal insert q (comes out every few weeks) makes those free. i get those from time to time as a backup/side roll.
and similarly, walgreens has a paper towel roll. can't remember off hand what it is called. but when they go on sale (every few weeks) it is 59c a roll. so i do wags deals that are free after RR or MM and throw in the rolls as fillers. they're about the same quality as bounty basic. works well as a backup roll.
Got me some paper towels today. Wasn't out but wasn't stocked either. Nothing found worth mentioning though. Can't believe it's glade time again.
Oh and I had to buy TP and PT..

I'm glad to hear this. You have so much going on in your life right now.
I lived on Xanax when I went through my divorce and it was probably since I had no support system whatsoever. Come to think of it, I drank a lot, too. Then again, I drank a lot in college but had no problems whatsoever.
Yes, I've heard of HIPPA. I meant that he won't even tell dh what he needs or what it pertains to and my other doctors don't have a problem doing that. I think oncologists are maybe more careful in that regard than other doctors.
Nik - I don't think you're overreacting at all. My brother (I think I already mentioned) killed himself in March, no note, no good bye, no nothing. Just left for work and never came home. Had I had one chance to know it had reached that point he would be alive today, taking my kids trick-or-treating like he always did. Instead, they just placed his headstone. She may not have meant it as serious but people need to realize that it's not a game. You usually only get one chance to reach out to someone and if you miss it, you have to live with that forever. And that's nothing to joke around about. :
