on the gas-x recommendation... we use phazyme. same active ingredient. it works well. and i think it says you can only take once every 12 hours or 24 hours (forget which), cos i think it is long-acting. i like it cos any tummy pressure or pain you feel gently dissipates.

don't have any info in terms of the other more unpleasant symptoms of gas. i only use it very rarely in case i forget to take lactase before a meal and start feeling very sick (i'm lactose intolerant). but, given the dosage warning, i don't know how safe it is/would be for regular/frequent use. something to keep in mind.

generally, we use lactase before having dairy containing foods. and beano before eating cruciferous veggies (cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, broccoli etc).



... and on that housecleaning note, LMAO a real housecleaning question:

do any of you get annoyed with stacks of bags and just... stuff from your shopping trips? the disarrayed stockpile and all the stuff that needs to put it away and the inserts that need organizing is really irritating me. i *hate* clutter. I *hate* messiness.

i like things clean, ordered and peaceful. zen.
instead, everything is a mess, and there's stuff everywhere and i have so much to put away. i am deeply, deeply, deeply grateful for the food and things we have. but good golly, miss molly, i have so much work to do. and i've been going since 7 am. nonstop. Faint

I actually have no idea. According to the OP on the thread in the DS forum, its a company-wide thing. I'm a little nervous because its info she got in an email, and its not actually in the ad. But if you go to that thread, you can ask her and see if she has anymore info. It seems like there are some awesome deals, so if you have enough coupons and the free time, I'd definitely do it. nod

That's so funny - my almost 2yo daughter is just growing into a 5!! She is not necessarily a petite little thing, 'cause she's got the thigh rolls, I think her feet are just small.

Oh man, I almost had a meltdown today because of all the *junk* lying around. I'm shopping like a crazy fool here lately, and all the bags lying around is really getting to me. Plus the inserts - I get up to 40/week, and that really adds up. I'm still working on the organization of it, and its just a wee bit overwhelming. I love that I don't have to order coupons anymore, but man, I wish someone else would come in and get it all set up for me so that all I have to worry about is pulling the right coupon when I need it. laugh out loud

Can't stand Chet - g'bye Chet Smilie Saw that one plenty of times and I'm pretty sure dd had it memorized by the time it was over. The TV seems so...quiet...today laugh out loud Yeah, reps. were the only thing I wasn't thrilled with in our area really....but I kind of expected some of those to go the way they did.

Only update on nephew is they are doing a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow and starting to test for rare things now and the tests need to be sent out to Mayo and take longer for results. I went shopping at Carter's yesterday and found long sleeve onesies. One says 'All I want for Christmas is my Auntie' and another that says 'My Auntie is AWESOME!'

DS went to school today without crutches, stayed after for therapy with the trainer, went to McD's with his bff and to watch the soccer game. Walked in the door (without much of a limp!) just a few minutes ago and is now raiding the fridge!

Awww how cute!!! My good friend is a cardiologist at the Mayo and it is by far the best hospital I know of...so hopefully they can find some kind of resolution to the issues... hugs!!!

YAY!! Ds sounds like he has gotten much better!! Awesome... the suregon must of done a wonderful job!! I am so happy for him and you Wink

Q trouble at target tonight two curel q's in large order supposedly screen said too many q's for items, couldn't see it. Then got the purchase vs transaction
speech, cs line both mn and cs busy for many min. shhh. Although they did finally take my Q's .
Not getting any better here.

Last week the Temptations cat treats wouldn't even do that. Frown It allowed one mq, for me, and I had 9 bags. Did allow a few bogo though, for the 10 cans of food I bought.

cathi, I had a rather large transaction yesterday (bought 4 copies of TS3) and still had problems with gift cards and coupons. Frown My TS3 coupons came up 0.00 so I did missed coupons for those at customer service.
