Dontknow I'm scared of the deals thread to even visit the wiki. I've been sticking to using whatever is in my stockpile to reduce the clutter. Deals thread....Cold......

oh ick. If it has cooled off already where you are, go back and forth between a steamy bathroom and the cool air outside. It helps hug If it's still hot, open the freezer and let them breathe the chilled air, then head back to the shower-steamed bathroom. The croup is the suck Frown

Thanks, yeah will have to check the calorie content Wink Great thing about WW is you can make anything work, you just eat less usually but some of the fat content and such in the frozen meals is so freaking high I will just not eat it. As long as that checks out I will be buying some Big Grin
My kiddos are all stick thin, so I've never really worried much as long as they are eating a variety of things and lots of fruits/veggies/dairy stuff. Here's some of the nutrition info from the ones I bought. What do you think?

Firecracker Sesame Chicken has 340 calories (60 from fat), total fat 7g (11%), 0% trans fat. But, the real kicker is the 1040mg (43%) of sodium. YIKES! That seems really high!

Chicken Fajita 300 calories (80 from fat), total fat 8g (13%), 0% trans fat, sodium 780mg (33%)

Steak Fajitas 310 calories (90 from fat), total fat 10g (15%), 0% trans fat, sodium 860mg (36%)

The $2/1 mq is in SS 9/26 and also from peelies found on the boxed appetizers at various stores including T. Haven't found any printables yet. Someone posted there's another Q in this weekends inserts, but I don't think that's been confirmed.

I found peelies GT....I don't think the mq's are printable, I think they were inserts or something and that there may be another one coming out in this Sunday's??? 'Tis why I was not going to do the deal in the first place....freezers are pretty full anyway and I was too lazy to go order q's LMAO Plus, when there's a deal that I need 3-6 q's to do it usually means ordering and I only do that if I *really* need the product....in this case I'm just buying because it's free/cheap Big Grin

Jpow, what is the serving size and/or how many servings per pkg.? 1/4 of the package? 1 cup? That does not seem bad to me, 6-7 pts. per serving for a full meal assuming they have little to no fiber in them. If that's just for an itty bitty amount though that would not be good. That is some high sodium content though....I don't concern myself with that *as* much at this point but I do still look at it.

That is a lot of sodium! It should be less if you skip the packet of seasoning and go with your own I hope.

Went to Target and picked up quite a few Halloween costumes for my son.
Got Tigger, Pooh, Thomas the train, Spongebob, a fireman and a few others in various sizes.
Picked up a few coupon items worked like a charm. No CCV screen and all behaved as they should. woot

That *is* a lot of sodium. I would swell up like a balloon Huh

I had a blast at the 75% off Halloween this morning. Next year I have my choice of costumes: ladybug, Dorothy, or jailbird Evil Roll

that is too much sodium. the limit is 2000-2400mg and i'm sure it's less for kids but i've never seen it on any label. if you had any other food w/ it you would be way over the halfway mark. you could maybe squeeze in another 2 meals for the day but no chips or other salty snacks and they would have to be fresh food, not packaged. another packaged meal would probably send you over the limit very easily.

i don't buy much frozen packaged food anymore just b/c of the sodium. i used to love frozen pot pies but won't buy those anymore.

i know they are a reason bff has been gaining so much weight and can't break the cycle. so much sodium makes you thirsty, then she drinks diet soda, then her body craves calories b/c it tastes sweet but missing calories so then she binges on candy and cake.

For the Maalox at T, has anyone had a problem using the TQs, since Maalox is spelled incorrectly? I got denied at Publix using them for that reason (was actually buy Gas X, since it was a MM, but they noticed the incorrect spelling)

For those of you with a Pamida -- I got a start on a spreadsheet [google.com]. It's looking like it might be worth the drive, especially if I can get my daughter to go along and fill a cart.
Here's a link to the thread -- I am not the OP.
Thank you so much for all the Pamida info!! I'm sending an email to my mom, 'specially with any printables info, and I hope she's able to get lots of stuff.

what supplies do you need for assistance? figure that out first. then, two suggestions:

1. join your local freecycle group if there is one in your area and comb the posts as well as post your requests. ditto craigs. people are constantly giving away office supplies, binder, baseball card holders and such.

2. if there is a staples or OD or OM near you, set up HD alerts on SD for their new threads and learn their ink recycling credit policies. build up some recycling dollars, then use those to "buy" whatever you need for assistance.

i did both those things. didn't make sense to "spend" money on organizational things for saving money.

also, if you have a dollar tree near you... page protector packs and tabbed dividers are avail a plenty there.
Oh, good ideas! I am a member of freecycle, but it got to be too much with 100s of emails in my inbox every day, so I opted out of the email notifications. And of course, then, you never see them...

Is it just me, or are there a couple of know-it-alls on the deals thread, that really don't know it all? Trying to police everyone. Kind of annoys me...
