Guess what else I found today! My fave pair of glasses that's been missing for over a year!!
Where did you find them? If there is a kinky story behind it, we want to hear it.

As rumored earlier this week, my new SS has the $2/1 TGIF Skillet MQs (exp 1/03/11)
I hope mine does. I would like to make trip before that deal ends and my chances of finding peelies will be slim to none.

Well, ouch. That sounds like a plan. Add a hot bath, chocolate and somebody else fixing supper and it sounds like a good plan.

So nice here today. I cleaned out my two little corners gardens and sucked up a bunch of leaves with the leaf sucker. Man that thing really reduces those leaves. I'll bet I would have had 7 or 8 trash bags easily. It chopped it down to two bags and they are only a little over half full. Definitely beats raking and burning.

Have any of you done the Pamida triple coupons today? There is a thread here, but pretty much no activity. I thought about going tomorrow. It's about 45 minutes from here but on the way to a Target -- another 15 minutes, but it's not a Super Target. But there is a Wal-Mart next door so I could use some/all of my $5 Olay - depending on how many Secret they have. But if Pamida isn't worth the bother, I would rather go the other direction to the Super T.

It was great. Would have been worse if she had trampled me, which thank goodness, she didn't. I wouldn't bet on me in a battle of myself vs. a 1200 lb. horse. laugh out loud I think she just had a momentary loss of sanity - she's been my best friend for almost 15 years - I don't think she would have done it on purpose.

Guess I'll just have to plan T for another day. I only have 12 TGIF's in the freezer - I think I'm way behind the curve!

I literally hate in laws.. some people have great ones... but for instance my brother in law lives in FL and he will call us up and ask us to pay his airfare up here and if we don't we are jerks and he doesn't wanna be bothered.. mind you, he is almost 40!! He can't hold down a job b/c he doesn't want to and thinks everyone else should be responsible for him.. dislike it Frown My mother in law will purposely buy our kids dollar store items when we go to her house for Christmas eve while the kids watch their cousins opening nicer stuff from Target or whereever... then I am told that I need to make sure the kids appreciate it...last year my now 8 year old left there balling her eyes out cause she realized the huge difference between them and their cousins gifts..
Wow I hate your in laws too LMAO
OMG! I hate them too. What is thier problem, tha is just plain weird.

No personal experience but 4.5 stars over 19 reviews on target.com......I look into that a lot when I purchase and I'd say that is pretty good. The tri-ply is a real plus when it comes to SS. I think Sears had some stainless sets in their BF ad too.
thanks! I think I'll get look at some reviews and see if I should wait for the set at Macys.com

Hello, everyone! Had an eventful morning...was brushing out my mare when she decided to rear up and catch me in the ribs with a hoof. I went down just in time to see her jump over me. Total fluke, she's 17 years old and has never hurt a fly up till today. Frown She got a workout afterwards to teach her that she wasn't in charge, and she was good as gold.

Was going to run to T this afternoon...think I'll stay home and take ibuprofen instead.
My goodness!!!! hug I am both allergic and terrified of horses. Cold

Oh you crack me up! I know which Target is yours and I know where there is a CVS over there. I can see it from the interstate -- what is it.. 1 or 2 exits over? If you go through town it's less than 2 miles. LMAO

has anyone used the maalox coupons (mq's) - I noticed they start with 0, so I'm just wondering if they are automatic beepers.
I used the Maalox coupons today for 2 liquid, $4.54 each. The $2.50 coupon brought up the CCV screen. Didn't have any other coupons so don't know if the screen came up because it if off 2 items or not.

We are soooooo centrally located that Target is really about as far as I go on that side and Walmart in Marion is as far as I go on the other side Teehee Our gas budget is really skimpy too (trying to get that debt paid off) so it does really make a difference if I'm running all over town. Of course the CVS in ghetto neighborhood over on the other side of town is much more coupon-friendly Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

dreeme... hope you have a safe trip back.
mlj... hug feeling angry/irritable is often a symptom/sign of depression/of feeling overwhelmed. do you watch the show brothers and sisters, sunday nights on abc? well sally field said to one of her sons in the show that emotions are like that nagging person, they just keep hounding you until you take care of whatever it is they are hounding you about. i agree. i think society keeps telling us to "chin up" and "move on" but truth is, when one pretends that sad/disappointing/frustrating things never happened, one never really moves on. shoving things under the carpet and pretending that giant big bulge under the rug doesn't exist doesn't stop the furniture from being lopsided. you have to haul the junk from under the rug and dispense with it, and then the furniture will sit on firm ground, nicely. so... that is all to say hug and talk to us, talk to a therapist, or a priest/reverend/spiritual counselor, or a mentor. but talk honestly and openly and work through your anger/disappointment/sadness/insecurities. you owe yourself the freedom and joy that lies on the other side of that process.

tn ... hug i agree with slowtech that it's important to build your social circle through interests, volunteering etc and can be done. i'll tell you, growing up and through college, i was painfully, painfully shy. and plus, i grew up in different places around the world, and you know how kids are in school when a new kid arrives? well i was always the outsider, always the odd duck. but the one thing i learned from that is observing people and how they act. and eventually it helped me make friends whereever i went. now as an adult, my closest friends are people that aren't afraid to be themselves. they're authentic and outspoken because they don't care what anyone thinks of them. and they're also the people who go for their dreams for the very same reason. you are young - half your life is still before you. and the whole world is before you. you can be anything you want to be, do anything you want to do. so go forward with faith in yourself and love for who you are. because you'll find people that love you!
as for online dating sites... i know of 4 former coworkers who were in a similar place as you - feeling lonely, working all week, but alone on weekends, and really unsure where to start in the dating world, but wishing they could find that one warm wonderful person. well, eventually, they all tried match dot com. all 4 are now happily married. 2 other people tried j-date (a jewish online dating service). they're also both married. the questionnaires etc they have there really work, apparently. and also i think a lot of people that try either match or eharmony are serious about finding a mate, and aren't really into the dating game. so it becomes easier for a lot of people to find like minded companions.

ank, how's DH's grandma? and how was the repaired chili? laugh out loud

ok, who here was asking for scotch tape qs? read on deals that tape pkgs in the christmas area EEK! have peelies on them, saying $5 off, and there are 5 $1 qs.

also, who here was looking for mccormick qs? was it setsail or flug? i found some of the 1/2's that expire 11/15... pm me so i can rush them over to you if you think you can use em before then. and ank, you could probably use some at your expired party store right? laugh out loud
