Thanks.. I just ordered 4 boxes.. I tell ya, all of the choices were so tempting.. so much more variety than I find at the stores. I had a hard time deciding!
Can't wait til they get herebounce

Promo-wise, how are they? Good deals? Extras?
Quote from flugette :

Are you asking about this year specifically or B&BW BF in general? I heart stopping in there. They always have lots of great items for dirt cheap, plus they always have a bag full of items that you can buy for a greatly reduced price if you spend a certain amount. Since I'm usually in there shopping for gifts/stockings/etc. anyway, the bag is great to divvy up amongst the people on your list.
..
Pretty much what Flug said.. They have things for 2.00, 3.00, etc. usually some kind of b2g2 or something with the signature stuff, the 5.00 wallflowers and refills, and it seems like there is usually a coupon floating around.. plus they almost always have had the bar soaps for 1.00 each as well.

I think it's just frustrating that it feels like we are starting to get on track and even pull ahead, then something comes up and we're right back to eeking it out and squeaking by. I just wish we could pull ahead a bit - kwim?

My little babeh is crying a lot tonight. I'm thinking she's got a sore throat like my older 2 had. She won't stay sleeping. Frown

No honey for babies... copied and pasted it..

don't give honey or corn syrup (dark or light) to a baby. Both foods are potential sources of Clostridium botulinum (C. botulinum) spores. Bacteria from the spores can grow and multiply in a baby's intestines, making a toxin that can cause infant botulism. The concern is only for children younger than age 1.

Interesting that both todays and next weeks Target ad have prescription Qs. . .
I didn't have a Target ad in my paper today, only the toy booklet. And the store closest to me no longer puts the ad at the service counter if there is a prescription tq in there. Jerks.

I am boycotting them. Do you know what those rat bastards did? They stopped carrying that ridiculously expensive silk lotion. It was $18 a bottle so it only came home with me at 75% off and preferable with a coupon, but man did it feel nice.
Not only that, those rats started putting shea butter in so much stuff. Yes it's great but can cause problems for people with nut allergies. Frown

hug I hope she's feeling better soon. And I agree, it's always something. Someone once told me that that's why people have to be prepared, have to plan for things. How can you plan for stuff when every time you turn around, you get knocked down?

Oh, the poor little thing. What is this piggy bank? I think I may go to Target today, I can see if they have any.
Quote from flugette :
My bet is that NO ONE up there will know about it, so she should have plenty of stock to shop from.
I'm thinking that may be the case here. I just wish I had a really good spreadsheet to work from like we used to for the KMart doubles. I always enjoyed doing that one and everyone pitched in together to price check and search for deals before "opening day".

Hubby won't be home tonight so I figured I would go to Pamida and then on down to the (not Super) Target and hit up WM for Okay just for something to do. Otherwise, I really don't have much that needs done around here -- not even supper fixing, so I would just sit on my arse and spend way too much time on here.

That looks like fun. And if that is you all dressed in black, your ass isn't that big.

Keep hanging in, that's just the way it is. Are you seeing your efforts pay off? Even a little? Little by little, and even then something will come a long a take all or most of what you have saved. At that point, you instead of crying over an empty bank account, you just have to step back and thank God that you had it in there when you needed it.
Quote from setsail :

You know what, now that you mention that, the last time I was in there and tested something it did make me itch -- to the point that I had to wash my hands and arms. I am not allergic to nuts. I had forgotten all about that. It's been ages -- over a year, at least, since I have been in.

Another weird thing -- my son used to occasionally get stuff from them in the mail -- usually those good $10 coupons. I never, ever got a damn thing from them. He has no idea why he got them, says he never shopped there (I just figured he bought something for a girl). I did shop there, fairly regularly, used checks with my info on them AND was signed up with their email deal. Never got a coupon.

If this little shit doesn't start to cooperate with me, I am gonna make Chihuahua soup. She's been here a week now and doing pretty well - no puddles - but then in the last 24 hours she has peed on my floor 3 times. I AM NOT HAPPY. Once, I was outside working, the other time we just didn't notice her, and then this morning by the bedroom door. I was in the bedroom, hubby was out here, she made no noise.

She will come in the doggy door but won't go out it. This is at the top of my "fix that" list. I take her to the door lift the flap and usually she goes out then, other wise I push her through. No, it's not too high for her, she does IN just fine.

The poor little thing has had the life from hell. My son got her from an animal rescue -- she was a puppy mill dog.
She has one leg that looks funny, makes me wonder if it was broken but she uses it fine and it doesn't appear to bother her in any way. She is missing a lot of teeth -- all her front teeth so she can only eat canned food -- which means I have to feed her several times a day, I can't just leave dry out for her. This is the same 10 year old spayed female that had the puppy that I told you about a while back.

My daughter works 3rd tonight so she will be sleeping til around 2 today. So, while I am gone, I'm gonna put her little kennel out with a blanket in case she gets cold and shut the inside door so she can't come back in the house. Which means MY dogs have to be trapped either in or out until DD gets up to keep an eye on this one.

On the other hand, she is just a little cuddle bug. Very lovable and sweet. Chiming right in with the other dogs barking at strangers... Um, Coco, you can't see out the window, you don't even know that there is anything out there!

Ok, now I have to check my Target list, print any new coupons I might want and get ready to go to town, do my papers, and head south.

Never would have thought of shea butter and nut allergy issues. Wow - there is so much to worry about with a nut allergy!!

I wish I knew how to make things stretch farther. I guess the main problem must be income - it's certainly not crazy debt - we only have 1 small student loan to pay off. Well - there are the medical bills now too - but they are a bit more flexible and not our typical expense. *shrug*
