Ours too but I wasn't surprised. I figure Halloween went 90% yesterday and candy 75%....deliberately did not go yesterday as I did not need any more candy. Today I bought 1 bag of Hershey's kisses that are pre-portioned in little packets @ 75% off. SO not the best value, but I like the portion control for a small treat. If I give dd one out of the pack then I can count it as 1 pt. 1 POINT for TWO Hershey's Kisses?!?! Oh well, serves to fulfill the chocolate craving.

But, my DS got a stuffed giraffe in his BK Kids Meal and it had a $5/$25 toy purchase at Kmart. I think he was more excited about getting the coupon than the toy (he is 9, after all). I have taught him well
I haven't seen the BF ad yet, but we are getting some things in off the truck that are marked "2 day sale". The only one I was able to read the description on was the Jersey sheet sets that are $19.99 right now. They are on a front endcap in domestics, one of the colors is Aqua. Not sure of the price though. Just thought I would give a HU!
I got the best CAT on Sunday. It popped out when the cashier scanned my Halloween Piggy. It's $5/$25 Christmas lights/gift wrap/stuff like that (not sure of all the specifics). Best thing, it doesn't expire until 12-27-10 I know I will be holding on to that puppy until Dec. 26
I had a nice scare today. When I got to work, there is a sign posted above the time clock that after punching in, to IMMEDIATELY see the LOD for an explanation of the new coupon procedure. Come to find out, it's just making sure that everyone knows to look at the coupons to make sure the right amount is deducted and the registers aren't shorting the coupon. Then the STL said, "the general rule is, if it scans, we take it." I thought for sure something would have been said about the 14's or something, but no. The only things brought up are to cover the left barcode and that some things aren't tied in the system. Everything said was geared toward helping couponers and came "from corporate". Way to catch up, T

And I so love the idea of putting an allowance on the Target gift card! I may have to start doing that with my two older ones. Start teaching them fiscal responsibility by letting them have a little amount to work with. Great idea!!!

I worry about how old we will be by the time Grand-babies come along and how young they may be when we die. Also worry about how young our son may be when his grandparents die since we waited so long. I remember one of my grandparents dying when I was in grade school It hurt so much it still makes me cry even now typing it.
On the upside, in many ways it makes us feel younger than we are. I'm always floored when I talk to someone else my age and they are talking about one of their children getting ready to graduate from college when mine just got out of Kindergarten. It just doesn't seem humanly possible that I could have a child that old even though when I do the math I realize it is.
