PM'd ya. Congrats on the new printer. I do think the Kraft $5/5 is gone.

OMG I would be feeling the same thing. You should NOT have to pay that much. Call your bank and tell them, there is always something they CAN do. We have had similar situations over the years and ALWAYS been refunded all but one fee. You may have to escalate it to a manager, explain they are taking food from your childrens mouths.
Tell the bank that money was to be taken out of the pending transactions and that mix up was not your fault, and is resulting in financial hardship for your family.
Thank you that is what I am planning just need to wait for the kiddo to take her nap. Hard to talk on the phone with her running around. The kicker is I DO NOT have overdraft protection on my bank account so the transactions should have been denied.

Registers updated here as of this morning. Still not many skillet meals in stock. Found a couple things 75% off to use for Christmas gifts, so my run out there was not a total loss at least.

Yep, their fix is to have all coupons scanned at face value, regardless of overage. An interesting tidbit in one of the many articles posted about this whole fiasco quoted someone as saying anything less than face value would cause Target to be investigated by the whoop-de-dos for defrauding customers (or something like that, in much more elegant legal speak). And from the links posted today, it would seem this is the permanent fix. nod
One of our stores here still doesn't do this! Ugh. The other few I've gone to this is true - coupons at face value. But, the one I was at yesterday still didn't. I had the $10 off 2 for Adams flea treatment for dogs - and it is on clearance for $8.98. Coupon value - $8.98. And..the guy gave me a hard time about getting my $10. He needs to read his memo!

oh crap. you did go through the inputs until you hit the PC option, right? Our's didn't work at first then Doh We had forgotten to change the input Teehee
Yeah, I did change the input on the tv. One of these days I will probably hook it up and try it again -- just to frustrate myself, I suppose.

I did read somewhere that sometimes a particular type of cable -- even though it's the right kind and the ends are right -- just won't work. Beats the hell outta me.

Got the medical bills paid. A hospital bill that was over $25,000 (not our part, the whole thing), the anesthesia, the doctors office, all were fine. Get to the $37 bill for the pre-op physical -- it's screwed up. We paid our $20 co pay the day of service and they credited it to some other guy with the same first name as my husband. This is not our regular doctor's office -- it was just close and easy for this.

Oh - it was several years ago. Gosh - almost three now. It was in Nebraska. The one where the guy came in, went up three floors and killed 8 people (and then shot himself) in a high-end department store. The slickdealer in me was there looking at clearance shoes for my little ones as Wednesday is markdown day! After that incident, I went back to work! bounce But, I still wonder if I would have had the guts to do anything about it that day if I was carrying and properly trained in using a firearm.

So now I got a $140 overdraft charge....
I feel like I am going to throw up. that is more then the money I made on the things I sold on ebay...
Call them - I've never paid more than one overdraft charge. Of course, I fought like hell for that, but, you can too!!

After being shot at at our local mall and hiding out in a storeroom with my then not-quite 2 year old, I have thought many many times about what I would have done differently if I would have been carrying a gun. Then again...I wonder if I would have done anything. Maybe if someone there would have been carrying a gun not so many people would have been killed. More good people carrying guns isn't a bad thing...imo.
Faint

Details........? I think........

You have this same gas station in Illinois. Three hint. Red. Yellow. Pizza. Their tenderloins are pretty good too.

Well, now you have me wondering....how much Malt-o-Meal could Casey's carry at any given time that would necessitate a tearpad of q's? laugh out loud

Guts has nothing to do with it. You may not have proactively gone searching for him. But I can almost guarantee that if he had opened that storeroom door where you were hiding with your baby, that you would have done what needed doing.

The average person who carries isn't going to run headfirst into situation. That's the police, military, and those trained to do. But if that kind of danger comes TO me, then that's another situation. Break into my house while it's empty, fine. Break in while I am there, I am not going to stop and ask if you are there for the DVD player or to harm one of us. We aren't gonna chat.

Well, I don't know but they had it on the shelf. But if I decide to go again next week, I will have to, um, liberate some coupons. I suppose I can count the boxes.Big Grin

This was the one at Von Maur?? I was wondering if it was the Omaha one because I was thinking you were from there. Wow, that must have been scary!! Have you been back there since? OMG

I go to Von Maur to look for clearance shoes for my dd every now and again and that is about all I go there for ever! I just don't feel as though I belong in that high-end, high-priced store laugh out loud

I heart Von Maur but, like you, never shop there anymore. Although I always swung through shoes when I was in the mall, looking for clearance LOL
