I love Honeycrisp apples as long as they are fresh & crunchy! I don't like sweet apples or the really soft ones ... I should try making caramel apples with Honeycrisp - in the past I have made the caramel apples out of Granny Smith apples (love the sour kick!) We went apple picking earlier this year - but all of the apples are gone now ... need to get more! Your caramel apple talk has me CRAVING caramel apples now! THANKS! lol
LMAO Sorry!!

Therefore I cannot deal with stress so I have added some weight back on...last Monday I still have lost 12 pounds. No bad. Will try to get to gym today.

I only had to work Kohler today, a short five hour shift.

So I can't report on the Kohl's return because somebody broke into my car last night and stole the bag...they went through the glove box and center console. Thankfully nothing in those. They did leave my XM satellite radio though.

OMG! I am having such luck lately. My bank would only refund $35 of the overdraft fees. Still waiting on paypal. Now 4 items I have shipped have been delivered and feedback left but they have not released the funds. Paypal is driving me CRAZY!!!!
Paypal is the devil. nod

Most of my Qs are cut for the SIL and her family. . . unfortunately, they couldn't make ends meet if they didn't coupon right now. I've helped out every way that they will let me. I paid for the 2 years of private high school for one of them (as their grandparents, who promised to pay for their schooling, backed out of paying, because the grandparents decided they had to buy a new Cadillac Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)) I bought a used Corolla (I wasn't fixing to let her go 400 miles from home in a 92 Paseo) for the 2nd niece that plays BB in college on the payment plan (them paying me back), but things aways come up (this isn't stuff most of ya'll don't know about... sick kids, washer breaks, leaking plumbing, the list goes on and on). The rest I either use myself, trade on SD, RAOK for others or use them to help others (Christmas Charity donations, Can-A-Thon, Toys for Tots, Adopt a Senior, etc).

Dilemma- I bought 3 of the TS3 Tag Jr last night for $19.98 each. Didn't have the mq or tq with me, figured I could do missed coupons. Went to the closest store today (coupons haters Mad) and was told they could do a missed coupon on one tq but couldn't do any of the mq because it states not valid on prior purchases.
I asked to return them, then rebuy in 3 separate transactions so I can use 3 tq, and was told that I would have to return and wait for the item to be placed back on the shelf. The lady that was working at customer service is a snarky woman that complains all the time, and I don't care for her, I think the feeling is mutual. Embarrassment

So, I figure it's my best bet to go back to the friendlier store that I purchased the sets at, return and then rebuy there. Or are they serious and stores are required to put the items on the shelves behind customer service, that you can't return/ rebuy the same item for whatever reason?

I would just try again at the more friendly store. After hearing about peoples' trouble with doing missed q's I am so glad my store is sooooo friendly about this. I just did a missed q today with the $5 Tag mq and I bought that same system nearly 2 wks ago!!

Did the CS lady even try scanning it, going through the normal process, etc.?? Mine went through today just fine it seemed.

I have tried to do a missed coupon at customer service and was told I had to do it in the same trip. Go to car and come back in after transaction. I told her I would just return and rebuy. There was no problem then. They did not tell me I had to wait until they restocked.

It totally depends on who you are dealing with here. I have a couple of nice GSTL's that never hesitate to do a missed coupon and one that is no, no, no to everything.

No, she wouldn't even try! I told her that I wanted to rebuy them, so I could use the coupons ($15 in savings is a lot, x 3!) and she said the sets would have to go in the return carts, and I would have to wait for the people from each department to put those back out on the shelves. She refused to even attempt the missed coupon after spending 3 minutes reading it. I've had issues before with this store, they go through long periods of being absolute jerks about coupons with very brief times of being ok. No jedis or anything, just ok.

I did buy some mouthwash ($2.48 Listerine Zero) and Swiffer starter kits that were now $4.98, and the cashier didn't even try to scan the coupons. He stepped back and asked the GSTL to scan them. I could see being hesitant if I had a huge stack but this was 6 coupons. 6, that's all.

I would 1st try at the nicer store and if that fails, go back to the mean store and try again then when they say no, call on the red phone about it and I bet they will tell them to go ahead and do it.

There was a $3 IP on coupons.com a while back. Not sure if it's still there.

Different topic. How do you donate baby food? There is a decent deal right now at Publix, but they all come in glass jars, and none of the charities (even the food bank) will take food in glass jars.
You're such a good person, TN.

There have been many times that I've been tempted to sell Qs, but I just can't bring myself to do it (with insert Qs, Kohls Qs will be a different story). I RAOK them whenever I can Smilie

As for baby food, I've never had them turn away glass jars, but I tend to give that stuff to battered womens shelters.

The Redstone Rocket normally has the SS in it, but usually 3 weeks late. The late receptionist (second shift) in our building works in the mail room for first part of the day, so she's been bringing bundles to our building of the Rocket, so she's been saving me and my trainee's husband copies when folks want to just throw the Qs away. I've been buying snacks for her kids (mentos gum, tic tacs, etc) to thank her for her kindness, as she doesn't believe in coupons (her words).
I know a lot of people that don't 'believe' in coupons and I don't get it. I understand people that don't do the 'super couponing', but they won't even do casual use. But they still love to complain about stuff being too expensive.

Do they have coupons on their site you can sign up for? I know I signed up for another formula brand for the coupons and stuff (so I could get deals and donate).

This reminded me you might want to ensure that you pick up some pedialite while you're stocking up on the formula as well. Wink
