hi all!

ok someone educate me please... what's so great about BF at wags. last i checked there were HBA items FARR. but that's it. nothing jumped at me. but clearly lots of people see otherwise. so what am I missing please?
Quote from Dazzledby5 :
I think because two weeks ago sinex was a MM, as it is this week again - so we are all loaded up on RRs and then there are a few MM w/ Qs on T/BF - It is just like a super Wags week, not BF woowhooo but Wags woowhoo - ya know.
Yep GG, pretty much what dazzled said....lots of FARR, a few small mm's from what I saw when I glanced. For me, I went to wags last when they had the Zarbee's a couple weeks ago, held onto all those RR's to get Sinex and kidseeze today, now have quite a few for BF. May even burn some getting a pillow pet for dd...we'll see. I like that theirs start on T-giving too....one less store to have to make it too on Friday depending on what I go for.

I don't wanna go to Pamida triples tomorrow but I don't wanna miss out. Seriously, there really isn't anything i NEED except the Crest Pro Health toothpaste. I love that stuff in cinnamon and I haven't seen it free or super cheap in ages and ages and we are going through more than we used to. My husband used MY tube of toothpaste and decided he liked it. There was a reason I consistently put another kind in his drawer.

If I do go, I will go on to the next town too so I can finish using up my Olay/Secret coupons -- assuming they have the Secret, that is. Downside to that is, the Target isn't a super. Is there anything else I need to do at Target? (I'm not shopping for toys) I would really like some TGIF but they don't have them. Well, actually, I didn't notice them, but I guess I didn't super search since I haven't found peelies. I checked the TGIF appetizers. Where else should I look?

PS to the Twatwaffles -- should you decide to come to chat and tell me to go check the wiki just STFU and go back to the other thread. Thanks you and have a nice day.

What new Christmas movies were in theaters last year? Was there anything other than A Christmas Carol (Jim Carey)? We watch movies all month long on cable -- yes, the old reruns and the new made for cable mush that comes out every year.

We also do a DVD or two -- usually whatever was last years new big box office draw from the year before. I just can't remember if there was anything other than that. They will never top Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation or Santa Clause the Movie. (But I do like Christmas in Connecticut)

Okay... I've read about health problems in here and seen others post helpful comments about what to do. I guess it's my turn...

My problem: I've got a stye on my left eyelid. I didn't realize that's what it was, and the eye doctor didn't address it. He addressed my complains of my eyelid sticking to my eyeball during the night, and the feeling that something was in my eye. All tests were fine. He gave me some liquid gel eyedrops to use, as he thought perhaps my eye could be a little dry.

Today I google stye, and discover ALL my symptoms match: a scratching feeling under the eyelid, as though something is in the eye; sensitivity to light; excessive tearing (watering); and sensitive eyelid.

The only thing suggested was a warm compress for ten minutes, four times a day.

An antibiotic cream might help, too.

So... any antibiotic cream? Are there any other cures/aids? I can barely stand to go outside, even with sunglasses. I have to type with one eye closed, as the computer screen light hurts my eye. The stye has been coming on for a few weeks now. At times the pain has been excruciating. But this light sensitivity is fairly new, and it waters all the time.

Any help would be greatly, hugely, immensely appreciated.

The reason I like to recycle bin dive one county over is the dumpsters, on wheels that have designated areas for items. ... Dia, why are you up at 5 in the morning on a Sunday?
Here there is no where to dive --- all dumpsters are padlocked at bare minimum ... and most are in locked up fenced areas that are at least 10 feet tall (far too tall for me to try and climb over to get to the dumpster to break in. I don't know why all the dumpsters here are in high security lock down ... I assume that everyone's garbage is top secret??? LOL I did call several stores and it is a no go - and I asked at the recycling center and they said NO WAY! So no luck here .... maybe the folks there will change their minds!

Up at 5 am - my back is bad at the moment and I was helping my son out with stuff. He is having some issues as of late.

Do the Libby cans have short codes? Maybe that is the prob?

Oh that sucks! I am sorry that the doc didn't address it!

I would suggest as many warm compresses as you can tolerate - to help get rid of it! Also I would use eye drops (such as one uses for lenses) that you can use in your eyes but have some disinfecting to them ... ie something like Multi-Purpose drops and rinse eye & eyelid as frequently as possible!

The multi-purpose drops *even Equate brand* may sting a lot .... however there is something in there that gets rid of eye infections/stys lickity split! I tell you from personal experience.

I have not personally tried putting antibiotic cream on my eyelids for fear of it getting into my eyes ... but I swear by the drops & compresses many times a day ... usually showed improvement within about 24 hours of starting those two things!

I am so sorry - eye stuff is awful! Sending HUGS HUGS HUGS & wishes for quick improvement!

I believe similician makes stye drops, and u need to definitely do a warm compress on your eye, I would say more then four times a day. And wash your hands frequently, every time u touch your eye. Wash all your pillow cases too. Unfortunately there's not much more you can do that I know of.

Thank you both! I am off to do another compress then! And will look at my other eye drops to see if they're better...

Oh I can help with this one! Last year poor monkey toddler had horrid styes in both eyelids. Had to see a pediatric opthalmologist a few times. Yes, warm compress was the first recommendation, and wash the eyelid/eye lash area with a tiny amount of baby soap (like J&J stuff) to make sure it's very clean. There are OTC eye lid washes but we had baby wash on hand already.

z2g is an optometrist, he recommended a warm, moist tea bag and that worked AWESOME! Monkey didn't like the wash cloth on his eyelid because it blocked his view but the tea bag was just the right size. The doctor gave me a prescription for antibiotic eye drops and I can't say whether that helped or not, I would be careful about putting cream around your eyes. hug

When monkey's eyes finally drained out the tops of his eyelids, rather than underneath. Poor thing has a teeny scar on each eyelid, just above the lashes, from it.

Hope your stye resolves quickly. Smilie

Bunnies, happy happy birthday!
