ok someone educate me please... what's so great about BF at wags. last i checked there were HBA items FARR. but that's it. nothing jumped at me. but clearly lots of people see otherwise. so what am I missing please?
If I do go, I will go on to the next town too so I can finish using up my Olay/Secret coupons -- assuming they have the Secret, that is. Downside to that is, the Target isn't a super. Is there anything else I need to do at Target? (I'm not shopping for toys) I would really like some TGIF but they don't have them. Well, actually, I didn't notice them, but I guess I didn't super search since I haven't found peelies. I checked the TGIF appetizers. Where else should I look?
PS to the Twatwaffles -- should you decide to come to chat and tell me to go check the wiki just STFU and go back to the other thread. Thanks you and have a nice day.
thanks though
We also do a DVD or two -- usually whatever was last years new big box office draw from the year before. I just can't remember if there was anything other than that. They will never top Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation or Santa Clause the Movie. (But I do like Christmas in Connecticut)
My problem: I've got a stye on my left eyelid. I didn't realize that's what it was, and the eye doctor didn't address it. He addressed my complains of my eyelid sticking to my eyeball during the night, and the feeling that something was in my eye. All tests were fine. He gave me some liquid gel eyedrops to use, as he thought perhaps my eye could be a little dry.
Today I google stye, and discover ALL my symptoms match: a scratching feeling under the eyelid, as though something is in the eye; sensitivity to light; excessive tearing (watering); and sensitive eyelid.
The only thing suggested was a warm compress for ten minutes, four times a day.
An antibiotic cream might help, too.
So... any antibiotic cream? Are there any other cures/aids? I can barely stand to go outside, even with sunglasses. I have to type with one eye closed, as the computer screen light hurts my eye. The stye has been coming on for a few weeks now. At times the pain has been excruciating. But this light sensitivity is fairly new, and it waters all the time.
Any help would be greatly, hugely, immensely appreciated.
Up at 5 am - my back is bad at the moment and I was helping my son out with stuff. He is having some issues as of late.
Do the Libby cans have short codes? Maybe that is the prob?
Someone somewhere leaked a the WM BF ad.
Ah - I see! Thanks!
Rachel - hope the baby comes soon! Wishing you ELV!!!!!!!!! HUGS HUGS HUGS to you!!!!!!
I would suggest as many warm compresses as you can tolerate - to help get rid of it! Also I would use eye drops (such as one uses for lenses) that you can use in your eyes but have some disinfecting to them ... ie something like Multi-Purpose drops and rinse eye & eyelid as frequently as possible!
The multi-purpose drops *even Equate brand* may sting a lot .... however there is something in there that gets rid of eye infections/stys lickity split! I tell you from personal experience.
I have not personally tried putting antibiotic cream on my eyelids for fear of it getting into my eyes ... but I swear by the drops & compresses many times a day ... usually showed improvement within about 24 hours of starting those two things!
I am so sorry - eye stuff is awful! Sending HUGS HUGS HUGS & wishes for quick improvement!

z2g is an optometrist, he recommended a warm, moist tea bag and that worked AWESOME! Monkey didn't like the wash cloth on his eyelid because it blocked his view but the tea bag was just the right size. The doctor gave me a prescription for antibiotic eye drops and I can't say whether that helped or not, I would be careful about putting cream around your eyes.
When monkey's eyes finally drained out the tops of his eyelids, rather than underneath. Poor thing has a teeny scar on each eyelid, just above the lashes, from it.
Hope your stye resolves quickly.
Bunnies, happy happy birthday!
