At this point we know I'm somewhere between 4 weeks and 5 weeks pregnant. She said as far as she can tell the pregnancy is healthy but we did labs to check the HCG levels and Progesterone levels to be sure. I get the results tomorrow.

Gator - I would offer stuff at ridiculous prices so you don't have to move it ... it seems as if this season is ending - and you could probably build up a new stockpile over the winter months and start fresh! GOOD LUCK with your sale!! Oh and that was so rude of the chap who took the food - I don't understand people!
Flu - that does sound pretty sketchy --- but I am such a sucker I am one to talk. I came out of Walmart the other day and a lady approached me in tears asking if I knew where a shelter for battered women was located. I said that I did know of one - but it was not nearby - and I was not 100% that it hadn't moved. I offered to walk in the store with her and ask the management to look it up so we could call and she refused crying more saying that they would want her to call the police on her boyfriend and that she didn't want to do that. She was so sad --- then after long discussion and her not wanting to either go into Walmart or call the police (I am not sure where her bf was at this point) she finally said that she would take a cab to a friend's house but that it was in a town that I knew was about an hour away. She asked if I could give her money for cab so I scrounged in my car & pockets and came up with $20 but that would not be enough to get her to where she was going ... I suggested she take that $20 and ask the cab driver to take her to the shelter for battered women that it was prob enough to get there and the driver might even give her a slight break on the charge for the ride. I used to drive cab and I would have! When I told someone about this later they told me I was stupid and it was a scam .... but what if it wasn't ... she looked so sad!
Ank your meal looks yummy! I will be baking the Thanksgiving meal here and I have to shop for it --- but I will do that this weekend. Have to go & look I didn't know there was a produce coupon! I need to use that one!!!
I have not bought any TGIF meals --- I hope to this weekend ... fingers crossed ... doesn't the special end on the 20th?
When does the Curel deal end ... I have to find some hangtags ... need some lotion for the kiddos.
Also - does anyone know where one can find the $10 Tag coupon ... was that only in the toy catalog?

flug, that woman sounds scary, and more than a strange encounter. it sounds like a scam, or someone scoping out a neighborhood for robberies etc. the way she finagled you into a conversation and then abruptly changed the topic - creepy. i'd keep the house well-locked, kids away inside and if you see her around in the neighborhood again, call the cops. never know what people are up to these days.

Had one bug run today and one windshield run. The bug run, I had to abandon the cart, which I hated to do because I had a pair of jeans for my dd in there that has taken me FOREVER to find. But the cashier was seriously reading the wording on every single coupon, even if she had scanned three identical coupons in a row. And she kept arguing about purchase vs transaction. I pointed out the wording on the P&G coupons about 4 per trip, and she thought it was "neat" that they put that on there, but it didn't persuade her towards my way of thinking. Nope, not one whit. Anyway, she started refusing my Glade Qs, saying I couldn't combine those coupons, despite only having scanned ONE and I had at least 10 Glade items in my cart. When I asked her to void the entire order, she starts telling me that Target had just been having problems "on a national scale" with coupons and so they have to be really careful. I was like, "Um, yeah, Target's in a lot of trouble right now, with lawsuits, etc.". She insisted it was the manufacturer's fault, not Target's, that they were in trouble. Um, ok.

Are you all curel-ed out? All of my stores are teeming with the $3.79 lotions so I am just continuing to buy them all...seems like people have moved on to another deal.
Not cureled out - keep forgetting to look at it. I only have 3 q's left, but it had been hard to come by. Hope everyone has moved on here too! I'd like to at least get 2 more.
As for selling stuff to just get rid of it - people have a long memory and if you have any sales next year, those folks who got it that cheap will be poking around and saying, "But last time, I bought it for..." Personally, if you have some room to store it, I'd keep it and hold it over. You could try some mini "cleaning the closet out" sales on craigslist through the winter. *shrug* But, that's just me...

I do have a couple of the bogo mccormicks - do they have short codes?? I hope not.
DH's grandmother had the cath thing put in and her first short (2 1/2 hours) of dialysis. She did pretty good - had a small problem for a little bit, but seems to have gotten through it well from what I've been told.

My day is now complete.
My poop story of the day - I am still congested, both ears are plugged and I can't smell worth nuthin'. So I take my girls out shopping this morning, and as I'm buckling my youngest back into her carseat, I notice her pants are a little wet in the seat. Get her home, and realize she had pooped who knows how long ago - it was all caked to her poor little bottom. I felt like such a bad mommy, but what do you do when you can't smell a thing, and your baby doesn't tell you she's stinky??? Yikes... Thank God for Butt Paste!!!

Funny - I always figure the last thing someone wants to do when they are not working is... work... But, on the other hand, it's a big compliment if they feel he's that great of a chef!!
