don't understand what's going on with the printable Target Q site, as I got an error for a TQ I've never printed before (and it wasn't a print limit reached error).

I bought 3 different ones. The doormat that is dark green with a poinsettia and says "Joy" at the bottom (12.99), and the one each of the green reindeer mat and red w/ Santa mat (these are 4.99).

I just used the $5/2 Tag or Tag Jr MFQ at Toys R Us and it scanned with zero drama, no waving over scanner, no voodoo whispered, nothing. I was shocked. I was expecting to have to wage holy war just to get my 2 coupons accepted, and almost had an adrenaline letdown when they went through so easily. So ... point is that it must be that Target's scanners are not as good as Toys R Us. Because I have used those coupons at Target, and they have NOT scanned. And Nikayla, my guess is the cashier did not put "5" as the first number. One of my cashiers did that, and it added instead of subtracted. He voided it, and then started with "5" and it subtracted the right amount.

Speaking of Toys R Us, I was able to get 4 Tag Jr books for a total of $22. Pretty sweet in my book, and they have some different books than Target. My little one is going to have a pretty great Christmas. :D

We always cook our turkey Alton Brown style, it's really good, and cooks pretty fast. But, this year, my DH decided that it would be "even better" if I brined it a day early. So, Tue night, even though we had no water, because a water main in town broke, I used my Deer Park bottled water and brined the turkey.

Guess what?! Just like I told him, it was salty. It was still edible, but a little more salty than I would have liked. Men, they just don't listen! After all the lack of sleep, not getting home on Thur until after 4p to start making Thanksgiving Dinner, and my DH not eating in a few hours (which makes him very grumpy), I was about to kill my DH while I was getting the turkey ready. He kept trying to "help" me, which meant he was getting in the way, constantly questioning what I was doing, and just trying to but-in in general. Really annoying!



Do these $4.99 mats make any sort of beeping noise? Do they still work? I haven't head in a awhile. I may have to check that out tomorrow. :D

I got the MOST AWESOME deal on Wed!! I was doing a few last min. shopping deals, and walked by the electronics clearance endcap, and saw a DSi XL Blue sitting there as a "repackage" for $119! I grabbed it, found our electronics guy, and asked why it was a "repackage". He said that one of the new people didn't know that they weren't supposed to open it for customers to look at, so they had to repackage it! After TM discounts, was a little over $100! I was not even planning on getting my DS one, I already got my DD on on Mon. on the Amazon lightning deals for $139.99, so I guess both kids are getting one. They both had originally asked for them anyways, but DS changed to an electric scooter at the last min. :woot:

I am still so tired! I have worked Mon-Wed, cooked Thur, and worked today, and Sat-Tue. I did take a 3 hour nap today, but remember, I unload and stock. My job is constant walking fast, lifting heavy boxes, ect.. It's like a 6 hour workout everyday! But, I much prefer it to cashiering. My knees were SO swollen by the time I left today from standing in 1 spot constantly!

Am I the only one who is biting her nails, waiting for the BF doorbuster clothes to start going on clearance? :lol: I won't pay the BF prices for them, but I most certainly will pay 75% off that!! :rofl2: Those hoodies with the fleece lining are pretty sweet looking, and my store tonight still had a whole lot in stock.

I had a good day too. Went to TRU at 1:30 am and got in line to check out at 2 thinking I could make it to Kohls by 3:30. WRONG! I was in the TRU line for 2 hrs!! My receipt is time-stamped 4am! The store was completely trashed too with garbage and discarded toys. But at least the customers all seemed well-behaved.

T was good. My $10 gc was voided when my total went below 100, but I asked for a mgr and she actually gave me the gc at cust svc! :bounce: Learned something new about p and g too. Did everyone else know that they make ivory soap? Price for the bar pack is just over a dollar. Also, the trial scent expressions secr deos are short-barcodes but the invisible solid is full p and g.

Ugh, that's the truth. Felt pretty good after 4-5 hrs. of sleep around midday and a cup of coffee after that. Now I'm fixing to crash again. Got the fuzzy blanket washed and put on the bed....and after the cold night in the tent last night I am so thankful for a nice warm bed complete WITH a fuzzy blanket :)

OK, lesson learned.....so last night when we were all freezing cold we decided we would take turns passing around the propane heater and warming our hands, faces, feet, etc. Well at the time that seemed like a smart idea but my face feels like it's sunburned :( Aloe vera does seem to help a bit but I don't think I'll be doing that again :O

For the $25 off coupons for sonicare, I am assuming that the cashiers have to type in $25.00, is that correct? TIA!!

I feel a little more refreshed this morning.

I am loving the $5 PetSmart coupon....they had some great deals yesterday and combined with that q I got a lot of stuff. Trying to get plenty of gifts for my SIL's cats (they're like kids to her since she hasn't been able to have a baby) this year.

My extended family sorted/boxed up our big donation for the local shelter last night --- here [animoto.com] is a short video my brother made. We figure it was $2000+ worth of stuff this year...for a very minimal price since my mom and I do most of the shopping with coupons :) We've been doing this in lieu of getting gifts for each other the past couple years.

Went to the stupid ass Target today, the one that gave me a hard time last Saturday. - I know, should have learned my lesson, and not gone on a Sat again but... - So now they dont want to let me use the Sleepwear coupon on the $9.99 robe and 2 clearence items, said "Well we aren't going to give it to you free!"
I responded with "What grade do you learn 10+4+4-10=free? What is your name?"
Her: " would you,oike the 1 800 number?"
Me: "No, I have the number programmed in my phone, I want your name. :P"
Her: "You have the 1 800 number in your phone :confused:"

Went back to a different Walmart last night at 7pm after getting PISSED at 3:30am that they had already handed out the tickets for the big items! Then at the 1st Walmart, they had all the doorbusters gone and all the rest of the 5am stuff was at electroincs, the ONE line was wrapped around the store! forrrrget it, a cheap bluray player isn't worth it. So at my local Walmart I walk in at 7pm to try to find the other Bourne Identitys and what do I see...half a pallet of the $69 bluray players I wanted, of course no laptop but the 50" Tvs were still avail???

I am thinking of hanging up my boots till the new year but I have like $100 in RRs, maybe I'll just burn them for milk, eggs and bread till then. Hrumpft, I guess I just need a new shopping area.

I did have a GREAT experence at Build a bear workshop on BF. I was able to get 3 Hal Moose and his 3 coats and 2 Holly Moose and her coats for $5 a piece -UNstuffed- using 2 Groupons and qualifing for a $10 GC for $5 , so now we can go back on Tuesday for DDs birthday with my 3rd Groupon and my $10gc. I am thinking that I will then qualifiy for another $10 gc since my $20groupon plus $10gc will make it $30 then the kids can get another $10 worth of stuff for thier guys and be out the door with $188 in bear stuffs and an awesome birthday memory for $40 oop.

I baked pies all damn day. And I made awesome turkey cupcakes.

Somehow, I have to get the energy together to fold all my clothes, colate coupons, and clear some space for a Christmas tree. Guess I better fire up the Keurig!

My wagging today bought me the same Sony BluRay player that Target had with it's doorbuster sale, only I didn't spend near that amount on it. I also have a ton of stuff to donate to Christmas Charities. HDD, wish you were here, you could just sell it all.
