Oh, those are just awesome. OK, so now I have to google princess cupcakes. Lillian wants a princess cake for her birthday, and my sister suggested like the Barbie cake, where the dress is the cake. I don't have a lot of time to do much of anything, and supplies on hand are limited. Any ideas??

Got the Sonicare with $25 MQs. Big Grin

Didn't get my last 6 TGiF, both stores wiped out.

Didn't get LOTR Blu-ray, didn't really want it, but somehow I NEEDED it since it was such a good deal. And, I figured I'd finally watch the movies this way. Guess I'll get them on Netflix, and see what the story is all about.

I did finally find 2 of the $2.99 Airwick candles!

Cute cupcakes, M2C!

Here's another MQ [coupons.com] from the printable thread, but it appears you don't have to register for this one.

If anyone is wondering how to spend all of the register rewards from last week:

I was able to use my register rewards at Walmart
. They sent a flyer saying that they redeem any competitors coupons including catalinas. I purchased 11 items totally over $100 dollars and was able to use over 30 Walgreens register rewards on my purchase ($87 worth). I was able to use more than 1 register reward per item. Great way to use them on groceries or christmas gifts.
I would like to know where this flyer is. I could use some of that!

thank you all for your good wishes and support and concern.
ankle looks like a cankle. i'm hoping it's because of the fall and not bloating/weight gain. LMAO
my shoulder is supremely sore and achy, all the way down my right arm.
knee is purple but that will heal fine, i think. guess i'll keep taking arnica and if shoulder/ankle aren't better in a couple of days, i suppose it'll be time for an xray. oh well. could have been worse, right?

on the plus side, it means i get to sit on the couch and eat the yummy leftovers, including ultra delicious candied sweet potatoes, parmesan and buttermilk cauliflower, and jalapeno orange cranberry sauce. yummy
i tried a whole bunch of new sides this year and they all turned out so yummy. but go figure the tried and tested old fashioned mashed potatoes were all lumpy and wierd. not sure what i did wrong. i've never had them be like that. Facepalm thankfully we had the mashed cauliflower as a substitute. anyone here have a failsafe mashed potato recipe they care to share?

....So do tell-what's the replacement mascara you found?!?! I HATE when a cosmetic I love gets discontinued! I end up on those hard-to-find cosmetic sites and buy in bulk Coverlaugh
are there sites like that? i didn't even know that. i usually look on ebay when something is discontinued, cos all these makeup counter reps buy up the remaining stock and sell them online.

i called prescriptives and tried to order through them. they said they would do a nationwide warehouse search and if they find any i'd get 6 maximum. took cc number. one month later not a word yet. so i gave up and started looking for replacements at sephora, macys, bloomies etc.
25 failed mascara trials later, on a lark, was at the MAC counter in macys with members of my tribe and asked about mascaras. the MAC lady pulls out a postcard for prescriptive customers, with a list of the most popular products. if you used this at prescriptives, here's the corresponding mac substitute! EEK! sure enough the mascara listed was very close.
it's called MAC zoom lash mascara. and i liked it a lot on trying. not exactly like prescriptives but pretty close. separates, lengthens and volumizes. doesn't clump. can be layered for added drama. and comes in brown (i don't like black - feel it looks too harsh on the face), and is not waterproof (i don't like waterproof mascara; i want it to wash off when i wash my face, so i don't have to rub my eyelashes with special eye make up removers).
as a plus, it's a whole 8 bucks cheaper than prescriptives. laugh out loud
and as a bigger plus, it didn't irritate my eyes.

separate note:
tracy, was it you asking about non-irritating makeup? i know clinique works well for some people, but i for example have always been allergic to clinique makeup. so when you have your daughter go to clinique, insist on having them give her trial samples of everything. then let her go home and try for a few days to see if it improves her skin or if she gets a reaction.
the other day, when i was on my mascara trial binge, a helpful person at sephora had me put on clinique mascara. my eyes smarted and watered for the rest of the day. EEK!
so... it's a very individual thing.
as a general rule though, i have found, that you don't want any fragranced foundation/concealer/powder/blush/mascara if you have sensitive skin. when i first started wearing foundation for work, i started off with l'oreal and revlon, mostly cos i didn't know what i wanted. my skin went nuts. i then moved to lancome. my skin went crazy still. i was breaking out every week, and i had never broken out before.
eventually i found a non-greasy, fragrance free lancome powder to cream foundation (it comes in a compact; you can wet the sponge and put it on and it dries like a powder. or you can put it on dry). within a couple of weeks the breakouts diminished hugely. but they were still there.
so then i began trying some of the so-called professional makeup lines. MAC; makeup for ever etc. i have found that by and large all the professional lines are completely fragrance free. they are also generally non-greasy. reason: they are intended solely to perform the function of color correction/coverage. they are not trying to be the pretty-smelling thing for the occassional user. nor are they trying to be moisturizers/do-it-all products for the i want simplicity person. the so-called professional lines are for people that need makeup for getting professional work and want makeup to do the job of makeup. once i switched over to that, it made a huge difference in my face. all the breakouts/irritation/redness disappeared.

Thanks! I think either I've printed it before or it's the same as the one I got from the site 'cause it wouldn't let me print again. But thank you for trying! Hope you're doing better today! Been worried about you! hug

Must look for a good cupcake recipe. Ds bday is Tuesday and we had his party this weekend but want something for him to take to school.. Didn't get to watch the game today; we were traveling back from Pittsburgh while it was on. Hate to say it but I am kind of glad I didn't. This has been a tough year for gator fans.

We will be home in about a hour, the roads have been good far, just ice sprinkles in the air. Can't wait for my memory foam bed! I LOVE my bed and miss it when we travel.

oh I need one of those too! Or a shopping buddy, when stuff comes up you could trade off shopping for each other.

your cupcakes turned out amazing! Do you have any plans for birthday or christmas cupcakes? I could use some ideas! Wink
did I miss a pic? They sound so cute.

Me either!!!! laugh out loud Just had a discussion with hubby - we decided we will put the Christmas tree in the family room, because all my stockpile/yardsale bins are piled in the corner of the living room where our tree normally resides. No more sales until end of January, but if we wait until the bins are moved to the shed ... yeah, our tree won't get put up until the day after Christmas. shake head Hubby has always wanted to have the tree in the family room, because it will sit right in front of the big bay window, so now he finally gets his wish.

OK, off to really get my coffee and get busy!!
I love the Christmas tree in front of the window! I think it looks so pretty to see Christm!s trees through front Windows.

those are so cute, I am thinking of making them for DDs bday in march, and we watched games ALL day! FIL had a list of 30 games he wanted to see this weekend.

I MADE DD one of those and it ended up being easier than I though and turned out so cute. I had her pick a $5 barrier. I bought one of those bundt cakes or whatever they are called that are round and have a hole in the middle that looks like it was baked in a flute pan or maybe jello mold. I put the barbie in the middle and trimed the edges so the skirt looked a little less puffy. The cake skirt was a little to short for the barrier so I uses the trimmed edges to make the skirt go up to her waist and I stuck it to her with icing.

Then I iced the whole skirt in pink icing. Before the icing dried, right after we were done icing it, me and DD took handfuls of different sprinkles and threw them at the skirt. We had all kinds of sprinkle like diamond glitter ones, pink sparkles, red sparkles etc.
She loved that cake and the whole thing was less than $10 including the doll.
