Congrats! I'm a little over 19 weeks along. LJ is 15 mos so my kiddos will be about 20-21 mos apart. How's that for a happy 39th bday to me.
Never made it shopping today...enjoyed the quiet while packing the house and felt too lazy to motivate for some runs. I did order a small cookie cake for DS from the Nestle Toll House cafe and they spelled his name wrong. They forgot the middle "N."

Because I was pressed for time, they couldn't make a new one, so I fought for a refund, got it and they even gave me the defective cake. The kicker though, on the refund slip, the reason she wrote for the refund was because the "name spelled worng."
No wonder!
We laughed about it at home....DS couldn't have cared less in the end. Cake tasted good....even better free!

I haven't had time to read or post. I have been out there shopping, shopping, shopping.
We did our Thanksgiving program and we are now focusing on the Christmas program. Things are super hectic here but going well.
Elmo machine has been absolutely wonderful!!
We didn't get a Christmas tree this year. Instead we used our Christmas tree funds to buy some toys at RA. They were buy 1 get 1 free and get back $5.00 when you spend $20.00 so our rug rat got several boy toys and we got duplicates for donation. Our Christmas program is hurting big time for toys for the little ones, so as a family we decided that this was better then a Christmas tree.
We did make a few target runs, and made out very well.
I got my griddle.
DH got his blender.
DH and son got a iron man dvd they wanted.
Some bills remain unpaid. But all in all, things could be much worse. We are happy and very greatful for all that we do have.
My Secret Santa package made it into the mail.
I scored a $50.00 home depot gift card.

So I was on my way to the recycling center, with plans of doing mucho shopping this morning, when the guy on the radio said there was a TORNADO WATCH for the entire metro area.
I scored the gift card from their black friday facebook thingy. I made a post about customer service we experienced when we went out looking at washing machines, before I got the elmo machine and before we knew we were going to be poor from having the car break down. So I made a post in passing and the HD rep contacted me. Had the store contact me to apologize and then the DM contacted me asking if the manager contacted me and apologized and I said yes. DM said did he offer you a gift card for your troubles, I said no, so he did. Manager calls back and says, oh I want to offer you a gift card for your troubles and I said oh your DM just did.
So for my troubles, I got 2 e-mails, several phone calls of apologies and a $50.00 gift card! And I didn't really post anything to negative. I just said that our store personal was rude.

I am not eligible for an upgrade on the phone so looking for a good deal on an HTC Incredible or something similar. If anyone sees anything I would appreciate a heads up. I had an HTC PPC-6800 and loved that thing. I don't think I can use that anymore because it was an Alltel phone. At least that is what Verizon told me when they converted Alltel over.

I am feeling better today - throat is no nearly as sore as it has been. My head still hurts like I don't know what, but if I keep up with the ibuprophen it seems to do better. I'm uber sensitive to noise/light still - but that's manageable.
I'm actually tempted to go shopping today. Kind of need to - out of eggs, milk, blah blah blah...
Anyway, I think today will be good because I refuse to let it be bad. I'm tired of bad attitudes - especially mine.
I'm thinking of taking an ad out in the newspaper:

Got one yesterday and I just have to say I LOVE that TB! Some TB's make my mouth hurt afterwards....this one does not at all and leaves my teeth so squeaky-clean. Wish I could get another for dh. Will have to go back later and see if they are out so I can get an RC....both stores had plenty of stock of them yesterday; I just don't know that q's would get here in time if I ordered them.
I am going to attempt to stay home today. Was going to go to Wags w/the F&F q but I don't know that I really want to go out in the cold for that. That and every time I go to Wags I end up with cheap candy and I do NOT need any more candy around here. Was back down to pre-thanksgiving weight today so now it is a weight-loss marathon until Christmas and New Years

Something that freezes pretty good, is hearty enough for a hard working guy and a woman pregnant with twins, and something that is relatively quick.
