tootsie... vodka infused whipped cream... bet it doesn't have enough vodka. one can never have enough vodka. i vote for mixing vodka into whipping cream and then using one of those hand held whipped cream pumps for instant vodka-drenched whipped cream.
I might need to make a batch of that to top off my hot chocolate. Wink I do have some extra heavy cream in the fridge left over from Thanksgiving. Hmmmm...

If anyone here is near a Bloom, they are super doubling coupons. Their K-cups are on sale for 6.79 (12-pck). Use the Folger's $1/1 MFQ for a fairly decent price on K-cups. Buy some Colgate toothpaste and get overage to go towards the coffee. Big Grin
Ok, I have no idea what a Bloom is but this reminded me... last week the Keurig (I have no idea how to spell that) lady was doing samples at Publix. She had tou-pons out. $1 off cups and $10 off the machine. Did you know that some of the cups are in the same family as the machine?

tootsie, i crack you up?

wait till you learn more about this alcohol infused whipped cream.

their website: givemecream dot com.
their slogan: get whipped
their warning: enjoy cream responsibly

i'm saying nothing.

Shutup

howeva, if you feel you need some cream aboard your party bus EEK! here [givemecream.com] is the page for locating a vendor in your state.

alcohol 30% by volume. as i said, not enough vodka. i generally prefer 100% by volume and density.
LMAO Evillaugh

dang it! I can't get the site to tell me if they sell it locally Annoyed I need portable whipped vodka for the bus. Otherwise, making it ourselves would be fab!

Bummer! Did you check your store online? That sucks... Frown

Quote from getgreen09 :
it's always been 15 but how stores interpret that is ymmv. some stores do 15 before qs. so you can do well.
i like shopping there for some of the cat deals. you can really find some great deals. for example this summer i got boxes of kashi granola bars free after cat.
then there was this breyers ice cream deal. 62c for 1.5qts!!
then there was the cereal deal.
earlier in the year they had a cat on all nature's promise items. nature's promise is their natural/organic line. i got so much organic produce and saved 5 bucks on every $15 spent. the cat deal on visa gcs earlier in the year was also great. made it a MM. you just have to look out and start learning to spot their deals. they have a lot of great deals hidden.
plus we're in a gas rewards area - are you - so frequently there are items that are free after q but they give you gas points. this summer with one of the deals i saved 1.25 per gallon. good options like that.

whaaaa? no!! EEK!
where was this? i missed it!
that would put a crimp in things a bit. i loved that they had no limit on doubling like coupons.

so funny in my neck of the woods, SNS is perhaps the cheapest of the large established mainstream stores.
there's a discount chain that is cheaper on some things, but they're also dirty and crowded in most of their stores.

i have found by the way that there is a BIG difference in selection, cleanliness, ambience, customer service, everything between the regular stop and shops and the Super Stop and Shops. not sure if there is such a thing as a Super Giant, but if there is, might be worth exploring. Big Grin
Honestly, I don't usually do a full-out grocery shopping. I pick up groceries when doing my runs, usually at either RA or Target. I go to a grocery store when they are having crazy sales, or a coupon promotion. Otherwise, I have to get our food where the deals are. Once our budget lightens up, that will be a pleasure for me, to just plan a menu, with whatever food we feel like having, and then go get it. Not go crazy, but just shop like "normal" people. nod

Whenever I do hear of great deals going on somewhere, I jump on it. I think the only area our family suffers in is fresh produce. I get all the frozen and canned that I can handle, its just the fresh stuff we don't get a lot of. I worry about my kids suffering because of it, but then I remember myself growing up, and our "fresh" produce was apples and oranges. Literally. Sometimes bananas. Of course, my mom canned and froze alot of stuff from her garden, as well.

Anyway, all that to say that if a deal isn't pennies or a money-maker, its hard to find the time to make it there. And Giant has been sorely lacking in those areas lately.

There is a SuperGiant in Fredericksburg that I've been to a few times. The prices are always lower than the store near me, sometimes as much as $2 for an item. And, they have gas pumps.
I am pretty sure those posters are talking about the other Giant, because they mention it being the one owned by Martins. I believe those are two different companies. Did you look up the coupon policy on our Giant's website? The logo for that other Giant is square/block letters, in orange and black, I think.

I wish I had. Sadwalk I grabbed just a few because I didn't realize the power of the $10 Q at the time. Just wanted to give you all a head's up in case you see a sample lady at your friendly neighborhood grocery store. Wink

OMG

You mean that isn't what everyone here does?!?!?! EEK!

Roll

LOL, I just thought the above is what all couponers did Teehee I kind of enjoy the sporadic-ness of making a meal from what we have instead of the other way around. And I've gotten better at planning for things I know we will want though so when I do see even a mediocre deal I can pick it up. A family can only eat so much TGIF Wink

Hey, just wanted to let your guys know that over in HD's someone posted about those Paper Jamz things being on sale at Jcpenney. I got the amp and guitar for my ds, I'm having it shipped to my local penneys so that I dont have to pay shipping. I paid $18.81 for both, thats about the price I was going to pay for just the guitar tomorrow @ T.

I can not wait until my sonicare Q's come in the mail Smilie
Went to my new fav place Kohls today to use up more Q's...got my ds a big pack of socks for $1.00!! So happy about that, he really needed long socks! I will be trying to use (well me and my gf) 10 kohls Q's tomorrow @ 2 diff stores, hopefully I can get some pretty cheap things with the $5q and the 15%.

I have to say that I just LOVE everyone that it so helpful on here! heart
