I'm in Iowa. The county I am in borders Minnesota though and we are about 20 - 25 miles south of the border.

Want me to pick up that iPod for you today?
I just called them and they agreed to hold one for me for 24 hours. The nice young man didn't think he could hold an ad item but checked with his supervisor due to the conditions. I could hear the whole conversation -- they have about 10 in stock. He first said til the end of the day then the kid told him where I was and he agreed to 24 hours.

The only thing that doesn't thrill me is that it is at customer service so I am guessing that's where I will have to pay. So, if there is a question with the 2 coupons, I don't think I will be able to do a missed coupon for the $15/$150. Of well, $15 is a small price to pay to know I am getting one and to get it with the 10% off and the $50 gc. I can live with that and be happy about it.

Now, iPod experts, I have a couple questions. She currently has an iPod -- I'm pretty sure it's a classic, no idea what generation. Do they all use the same kind of chargers, etc.?

I did order a screen protector from Meritline for the touch and a new 3.5 mm cord to plug it into her car stereo -- it has the jack built in and she mentioned she needs a new one. I wouldn't even begin to attempt to chose a case for it for her.

I'm FINALLY a fancy lady...got me a Keurig yesterday!! Woo-hoo! So flippin excited! The funny thing is, I'm really not that much of a coffee girl (except Starbucks) laugh out loud. I heart flavored coffees. Amazon looks like they have some yummy ones!
I bought the kids and hubby hot chocolate and me some Cafe Mocha K-cups. The machine is so freakin fun. It is definitely my new toy laugh out loud

So...I need to go to Kohls and the mall today. I DESPERATELY need clothes, but it is so, so bitterly cold and windy outside. I hope I get some motivation soon.laugh out loud

I'm gonna be a fancy lady too, after christmasWink: . I luv flavored coffe, Im just gonna have to watch the calories.

Hubby bought it ...so I'm sure no dealio there ,that part makes me cringe , I'll have to get over it so I can enjoy it's Fanciness ...

Glad to hear your enjoying yours bounce.

No snow here tg, just rain it's actully rather warm here , after prior freezing temps , weird weather patterns.

then this fall and again now i've been trying something new, thanks to inspiration from a friend... going in, paying a small amount of cash oop and doing MM transactions, then using up those RRs that week or next week itself on non-RR items we need/want.
done. no managing RRs in large quantities. no spending hours on wags. and still only small oop and we get what we need that's not stockpiled (specialty items like salon hair products) or where the stockpile is running low.

*snip*
nod That is pretty much how I have been doing it lately....there are occasions where I build my RR's up higher if there is a super great MM deal but for the most part the deals just haven't been -consistently- good enough for me to deal with the pain of rolling them all the time. AND there is a lady that totally will clear the shelves (particularly at Wags) around here (not an SD'er to my knowledge) so if I want to get the good stuff I have got to be there when they open Sunday morning....which can be a real pain with church commitments and such. Just was becoming not worth it so this has worked a lot better.

Once the stockpile is built up I don't find it too hard to keep it maintained. So it takes a pretty good deal or MM to really get me in there.

I could tell you guys were getting quite a bit...along with up in Southern WI too...

Dia, how much did you guys end up with???

I really think you'll be OK....you're easily meeting the requirements for each coupon....and as long as they will scan them both they should go through fine. Cool

I think it will come with the ipod input/usb cord, and if she already has a wall charger it should be able to be used with both. And yeah, good idea on the cases.....there are so many different ones it makes my head spin!! Same thing when I went to get one for the iPad....so many choices. Did end up with one I liked though and that I will have for a looooong time.

iPod users: my mom has had an iPod touch for quite awhile now and just figured out yesterday that she could connect it wirelessly for internet access....and run apps Teehee

I found this rather amusing....and got her set up with a few free apps yesterday Wink

Yep, there's a reason a bunch of us live TN or farther south BRRR Cold Temp is currently 28 and the wind chill is 15 and it's snowing. It's RARE that it is this cold so early. This is normally mid-late January like temps.

Evil can she print coupons from her iPod touch???

Perhaps you can return it and get something more to her age. I certainly would not give it to her either.

Oh no, it is 1 am no wonder I am rambling and can't think straight. Sleepy2
Making coffee is easy. If you need help let us know, we will help you. After you make your first cup of 'good' coffee, you will want to make it again and again.

Didn't go look at this yet, but wanted to say thanks for remembering those of us that are less fortunate then those "Fancy Ladies". (Please take note of the cyber sarcasm and jealousy). laugh out loud

On another note, we are putting up our Christmas tree tonight. We got lights for it and we have about 12 ornaments. So I will be on the lookout for some nice/cheap ones.

We are having a good morning. I baked 3 dozen cookies and a batch of muffins. Drinking coffee, elmo is doing his job, no blizzard here but lots of rain/freezing rain.

For the majority of last night, we couldn't even see the neighbor's houses. The only one we could tell was there is the one directly across from us and only because they had white icicle lights lit.

The winds shredded another neighbor's flag. It was fine before the storm. I have some damage to Christmas stuff but nothing that can't be fixed -- we think. Some poles on my blimp bent (expected). If I would have thought, I would have un-anchored it and laid it down. My hot air balloon (suspended from a tree) was fine when I went to bed -- not so fine this morning. Can't do anything today. The winds are still pretty bad and our chill factors are ~ 35 below. On the up side, we have a brand new shiny snow blower that is going to get a work out.

All the roads in this area of the state are either still closed or travel is not recommended. I think the no tow order is still in effect. Obviously, I am not going to make the (60 miles one way) trip to Target today. They damn well better not sell out of iPods. I really hope they get stuff cleared and the winds die down so I can go tomorrow morning.

laugh out loud Well, that was amusing. I just looked up and out the window to see my husband bust through a 4 - 5' drift with his big work truck. This is getting more amusing by the minute -- he is now standing on the running boards parking his truck cuz he can't see out the windows. The bright orange hat is just sexy now!LMAO

Ohh.. that weather, you're a much heartier soul than I Cold
Maybe that sexy orange hat will keep you warm LMAO
It sounds like , you will have some nice ,albeit cold memories of this snow anyway .

I didn't notice a big run on the ipods arond here, glad they are being service oriented and holding you one.

Had a total bug run over a 2/3 mars Q , 30 reasons why an off ANY q wasn't good on my item. even though it was also clarified in the long list of what any meant shhh... and was in the pic . Had more to do with having to enter price than any real problem with coupon .Target seems to be back to same ole same ole Mad

Tricked us into thinking they were finally being reaonable , just long enough to get most of the christams $...

Another day.. sounds like alot of people are having some crap runs .

I feel ya.

I did see that (yep, I'm un-fancy). I can go $35 or so for a coffee pot, but not $100 plus, since I don't drink coffee. laugh out loud
I plan to try getting it though. A Christmas present for myself. It'll probably be used more for the kids' hot chocolate.

I'm pretty sure I need to know this too.Cool "Merry Christmas, Dear. This comes with a condition..."

Were there any new coupons today? I looked on the website but nothing jumped out at me. I thought maybe we would get a new bakery and/or produce. I saw the TGIFridays appetizer $2 coupon (is that new?). I think I have some $2 MQ. Anybody remember how much those suckers are? What about the Nancy's? $5 off 2, I think then a $1 MQ. If any gets there today, wanna do a price check, please.

Trying to get my list and coupons together so I am ready to take off first thing in the morning. I'm sure I am forgetting somethings because I haven't pulled my coupons to look at them -- I don't put everything on the list if I have a pile-o-coupons I know I am using. But, geez, my list is pretty damn skimpy.

Sadwalk

As far as I know only if you have a specific brand of printer (HP)....iPad is the same way. Hoping at some point there will be better printing capabilities. Although at this point I can print from 5 computers at home (dh's old desktop, a couple old laptops, my laptop, netbook.) No, we don't really -use- all of those, we just don't get rid of anything that can't print coupons anymore laugh out loud At this point it pays more to keep them for coupons than to sell them.

Plus my mom has an old laptop and her current laptop + work computers to print from (she coupons too) but occasionally I will need something she doesn't so she'll print for me or vice versa.

Hmmm, this will require further investigation. I have an old HP printer and still have a few ink cartridges. I got a new Brother wireless, wifi, whatever, and hate that damn paper jamming HP so I stuck it in a box.

I wish mine wouldn't....when he cleans I have 2x the work. I just walked into my 3 year old's walk-in closet...shoot me! Everything was thrown in there. EVERYTHING! He is soooo lucky there was nothing breakable in those bags! I can understand the house was looking a little "unkept" but I was going to work on it the last few days and unexpected things come up. HE only "cleaned" because his sister was coming over. His family thinks I never clean...No I clean but I have a 3 yr old and a 28 yr old to mess it back up for me! MadMad

Have any of you bought and used the Oster flip waffle maker that is on sale for $30 - $5 TQ = $25?

Hubby really likes the ones he has used in a couple motels he stay in and has mentioned wanting one every now and then. Then, when we see one on sale and I say, "BUY THE DAMN THING". He says, no, that he would probably gain 100 lbs. if we did. I know this one wouldn't be commercial grade, but just wondered if it worked fairly well. Then, step 2 would involve finding a good malted waffle recipe and/or mix.

Ok, I admit it. I am bad, bad person. Hubby is now using the snow blower in the back yard to clear a path from the house to the big garage and back driveway at the end of the yard. In between snickering all I can think of is that I just thought of a solution to all that accumulation of a whole winters worth of dog poop... times 3 dogs. Do you think the neighbor (who doesn't have a dog) would notice?

Ugh. We are getting a boatload of snow today! They said 6-8 inches but at this rate, we might get a foot. Our power was out for 1 1/2 hours...of course during the time I was trying to get everyone down for nap...and when there is no background noise and creaky floors, it is damn near impossible. But, our neighbor gave us their sled, so we're getting out of the house now. No chance for any shopping today. You would think in the midwest that people would be decent drivers in this weather. Nono
