Sorry, Laina. I have no idea about KM. Haven't been there in a couple of weeks but last time I was there, I had difficulty using coupons when purchasing a KM GC in the same transaction.

Wow KAllison! That sounds like a great SS gift. Hearing the contents of the box makes me think I failed in comparison!

I went to bed early and just now woke up. Nyquil is my best sleep helper I know (congested or not). Looks like it did snow a little more here, but dry snow. Wind chill is 8 degrees Cold BRRRR.

I might call in sick today *cough cough*

ITA on the Nyquil. I can't take it past 8pm though; I am too groggy otherwise.

Wind chill here -5 degrees OMG

I walked with DS to school this morning instead of shoveling out the cars. Halfway there, DS told me he was really cold, so I ended up running/carrying him the rest of the way. Way too cold Frown

which brush do you use, if you don't mind my asking, please? i'd love some recommendations cos I'm thinking of getting 2 as gifts for people who are very picky and rarely get stuff like this for themselves. i know if I get these they will use them for many years to come. i've been dying to try them, and was perfectly happy to try the T one if I could lay my hands on it, before deciding if I wanted to upgrade or if the different ones are a marketing gimmick. but my gift recipients are not the kinds of folks who would experiment/explore. if I get them the starter model and they don't like them will never try sonicare again. Facepalm so i want to pick carefully since sonicare brushes are universally highly regarded. thanks!
The first Sonicare I had was just like the ones at T for $37.99 and I loved it. I gave that one to DH and started using the new kind when I found one of 75% off 6 months ago. I do think the first one I had has stronger vibrations no matter how much you use it.

http://www.target.com/Sonicare-Fl...ombrowse=0

That is the one I have now.

To compair the two on the $37.99 one it doesn't have the tooth section timer so you just get two minutes to brush you teeth and it doesn't have a pulse indication on when to move to a new section, not a big deal because you know you generally know where you have brushed and where you have not.
I think the biggest difference is that this one has a empty space under the toothbrush head where it screws onto the base. In the directions it does tell you to unscrew the toothbrush head and rinse out after every brushing. Which was never a problem for me as I alwasys rinse my toothbrush after every brushing any way. But I guess this is a huge issue for this toothbrush, that A LOT of people do not do that Confused so they end up with mold or other super funky nastyness growing in there. I don't know if they didn't read instructions or are just super lazy but of course horrific funkyness will grow there if it does not get rinsed after every brushing. That is pretty much the biggest and neggative complaint about that brush. I always stored the head of my brush unscrewed from the base too, just to make sure it dryed out that chamber. Doing it that way mine stayed new looking and clean.

The head on the new one I have doesn't have the empty chamber at all, it has a metal post that slides up into the toothbrush head, which I also rinse out because there is still a small hole up into the toothbrush head. But after using it for awhile the vibrations don't seem to be as strong. Putting the toothbrushes side by side and turning them on the less expensive model with the screw top will still fling water off the brush head while the slide top brush head does not, the water vibrates around on it but does not fling off.

The other difference is the battery. The screw top sonicare must have the battery totally drained before it is recharged or if you don't then the battery will have a shorter life between each charging and eventually not work. The more expensive model has a better battery and the directions say to store it on the charger, it is better for that battery to stay charged and be put back on the charger after each brushing.
I really like that feature.

With the battery you have to let the charge run out you will always have your last brushing that you are just hoping to get through the brushing before it totally dies, so sometimes you are left finishing that last brushing with no charge. Now I do brush my teeth longer than the two minutes, I figure the two minutes are for your teeth so I brush my teeth for two minutes, then I turn the brush back on to brush my tounge and gums and etc. So on the screw top on the last brushing if you only do your teeth you won't be left brushing the rest with the charge totally gone. DH says that is the difference between nickel medal hydrate and nickel medal cadium batteries.

The directions that come with the toothbrushes does explaine how to charge and battery life.

I was going to get this review typed up yesterday and I read you about 9 am but by 10 am I was run over by the mac truck of migrains. It was a really bad one, I was super sick the whole day and sleeping did not help, I slept a few times like 4 hours each time, but when I woke I felt worse! I was having pain, naseau hot and cold flashes pretty much all night. I am so thankfull I feel better this morning, I was worried since waking up at 5 am for awhile I still felt really horrible.

Ok I tried to read that thread yesterday morning but it put my migrain over the top. I read it this morning and still am confused a bit, can you do it online? I would love a Keurig I would return my Coffee pot I got on clearance with the $10 TQ, which didn't attach even though I got the one in the pic. $19.60 - $10 TQ = $9.60.

Quote from bunnies46 :

Making coffee is easy. If you need help let us know, we will help you. After you make your first cup of 'good' coffee, you will want to make it again and again.

Didn't go look at this yet, but wanted to say thanks for remembering those of us that are less fortunate then those "Fancy Ladies". (Please take note of the cyber sarcasm and jealousy). laugh out loud

On another note, we are putting up our Christmas tree tonight. We got lights for it and we have about 12 ornaments. So I will be on the lookout for some nice/cheap ones.
I hadn't been much of a coffee person but I have started really enjoying the hot frapps from the machines at Target or convience stores, although they are to sweet, I add about half regular coffee to them. I would love to be a fancy lady too. Maybe I will find a good deal and can be a fancy lady too, Teehee yeah not jealous at all Wink

You know I have a Target bag in the basement with 4 packages of unopened ornaments. I am not sure how it happened but last year while the holiday rush was happening somehow that bag got put in my cart. When I was unloading at home I noticed it, the ornaments are in very vibrant colors, like hot pink, teal, yellow, bright blue. It was a huge blizzard for the next week so I never did end up getting them returned to Target like I planned. They do not match my mostly silver, red, and green tree that we do. How far are you from me again? Probably to far to stop by and get them.

We have the waring pro waffle maker [amazon.com] and it is fantastic! amazon has it listed at $75, (50%), plus looks like a $10 rebate and free shipping. I know its not the same as getting it at T but its a really nice one. They even have malted waffle mix.

Heard in deals that the $25 Kitchen Q is NOT beeping expired today.....oh that would be nice!
Ok that would be great, if my toner gets here today too!

Oy vey! It's amazing my kids sleep through our neighbors fights. They make so much noise. It sounds like people are falling down the steps over there half the time. I never understood how you could make fighting your "thing you do" (their quote when we inquired if they were okay...) If you are outside, you can hear them screaming at each other. (well, more her screaming at him) I just don't get why you'd like to be in that kind of a relationship.

Well... *sigh*
Our downstairs tenants fight like that, most of the time the kids sleep through it but my oldest tells me it wakes her up sometimes and she can hear them swearing. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I don't understand the loud screaming and fighting or why you would want to be in a realionship like that. Not that I haven't been there or done that, long ago, that is when you figure out it is not worth it and to tiring to fight like that all the time.

Saved you from something worse, good thing you got a room for the night and stayed safe and warm.

Yes. They carry the currants & acai reed diffusers in all of my stores. One store also carries the clean cotton scent. Very limited selection. $6.99 each.
They also have candles and reed diffusers near greeting cards...not sure of the brands but they have an entire half an aisle dedicated to them.

kohls of course. Evil

fear of being touched... it's not a germ thing no. it's generally a psychological reaction that develps in reaction to some traumatic event, either recent or distant. it can also be a symptom of depression. it's a known phobia though.

if you're on any antianxiety meds or anti-depressants or such, you should talk to your doc and let him/her know cos it could also be a side-effect and a sign of worsening depression (which is sometimes a side effect of meds that are not workig well with your body)

so sorry you're going through such difficult times. hug

p.s. have you ever tried meditation? i never manage to do it because my mind is always racing and i don't have the patience to quiet it down. BUT, my family swears by meditation.
however, when i get really stressed about something, or if things have been tough, i sit and do deep breathing excercises. basically consciously take a slow deep breath counting to 5, then releasing slowly while counting back from 5 to 1. i usually do this a few dozen times. it is amazing how much it calms your body and mind because it has an actual physiological effect.

ok, either this house is very warm or something is wrong with me. i am so hot and i can't stop perspiring. and no it's not a hot flash LMAO i am far too young for that. i have been feeling very warm for hours now but right now it's to the point i want to scream. it's very uncomfortable. going to go turn on the air for a bit.
Ooh, forgot about Hallmark. And our Kohls only seems to have those desk calendars that you pull off the page each day, not wall ones.

I'm certainly no stranger to depression (as if you guys couldn't figure that out). And I learned this week that waiting to get a prescription filled bc you want a GC offer is not a smart idea...there's kind of a good reason they tell you to not stop antidepressants suddenly. Sigh.

I've never been good at meditation because I HATE silence and, like you, can never get my mind to stop racing.
