Took off early to run errands with my wife. Had to run into Target for baby food.
Windy and cold here (for SC at least) My heater decided to die last night and I woke up to 30* in my house this morning. brrrrr. Off to get some space heaters tonight.
DD had her last OB appt. She lost her plug this am and has dilated to 3 cm so she doesn't have to go in tonight for cervadil
Can't believe it's here and I'm gonna have a granddaughter to spoil
Hope she has an easy delivery and the baby is here tomorrow... My bday

It seems like it can be BAD as we may start getting alot more limited if the stores see this especially stores that double, etc.
I did get to go to Kmart while DD was at scouts - oh, and had a failed Wags run. I did learn that if you change your mind about something at Kmart that you can't return it right away. It would not go through at CS, and they said it's too soon. *sigh* Going to have to remember to take it back later (which is always a problem for me!) For you Kmarters - they had pepsi throwback 20 oz bottles for .25. Probably not news to ya, but...

Mavis is such a wiggly worm. (and a poop factory right now - she's laughing and making "music" in her dipe) I put her in her carseat for a second, and turned around to grab something from the kitchen, turned back and she had wiggled herself to be half in and out of the darn thing! Normally I strap her into everything, but the one time I don't and she's hanging out in less than a minute! Thank goodness it was on the floor!!
It's amazing how quickly our habits and thoughts of what constitutes a "good deal" is.
Last time I looked they were pretty much only sold at pet stores and vets.
Ah well... I will still email catalina and see what happens. Maybe they'll take pity and mail it to me anyways.
Oh - on the return to the GC - DD had offered to do the return for me, so I went ahead and let her do it. She said they didn't give her an option (I had told her to ask them to put it on a TGC since I paid part TGC and part AmexGC). She said they just scanned the receipt, the items and then told her it was going to the card automatically. *shrug* One of those "do it yourself" things, I guess. Ah well. If it doesn't show up, I guess I'll have to spend some time at CS. *sigh* The thing that is annoying is that I *could* have tossed the card and not had it - then what??

OK, off to shower and get ready. My little boy's first Christmas program is tonight. I have been told to expect manic parents. That is so not me at all...not looking forward to it.
Got my wisdom tooth pulled earlier. Now that the pain meds have kicked in I'm feeling good.
Water was backing up in our utility sink again....we had to call back the same ppl we had here last week to correct the problem. Seems to be fixed now
I need to go through dd's toys before Christmas!! I think I will go do that while she is still sleeping....
Kallison - Have you tried Melatonin to get to sleep? It helps me shut my mind off - it's the only thing that works for me. HTH

For those wondering about the price adjustment for a gift card- they had to return/ rebuy the movie set. It was a little bit of a pita but for a $10 gift card... yeah, I'm going to ask for my price adjustment.

Awe, you guys are starting to open already.. I haven't gotten mine yet, but it is okay cause I know my SS hasn't gotten their's yet either.. I may try to wait and open mine cause I doubt I will have much to open this year. My only gifts usually come from my MIL and my DH.. My DH and I aren't planning on shopping for each other at this point due to money, and my poor MIL has been out of town off and on for the last month with her elderly parents and doesn't have time to shop, so she is gonna give us money I think.. Money is great but I also like to open things

Worked all day, went by Publix and now I am sitting here on the couch ready for bed.. My DD is sitting beside me and she looks like she is about to pass out.. SO, trying to decide if I am gonna fight to keep her up for another few hours.. it can be done, but it means keeping her busy and moving (which I don't have much energy for) or letting her take a short catnap and I can nap with her
I coughed so much at work today that my coworker brought me a hand full of cough drops.. Sad thing is, I have about 50 bags at home that I forgot to bring.. Almost everyone I work with has this same stupid cold. I am hoping while I am off all next week, that the germs will die down and I can get all well before Christmas!

I second the melatonin. Two of my kids have severe sleep issues and some nights it is the only way they can get to sleep.
