Not going to post this in deals for fear of being ripped another....

Purchased Smart Ones Meals. They were $1.99 x 2 & $2.74 x 2. The boxes had purple MQ peelies on them $3/10....well the cashier peeled them off and scanned them. The first 3 went through fine, and the last one was k1ed. They didnt attach to the product and showed up on the bottom of my receipt.

Had one for lunch today and in the box was a coupon for Join for Free exp 12/31/11. I havent seen these in any other box. This was found in the Fett Alfredo w/ Broccoli.

Also wanted to report that the $25 Cookware did not beep expired for me today.

Good news on the Cookware TQ. Maybe they are creating another with new expiration date.

DD had her last OB appt. She lost her plug this am and has dilated to 3 cm so she doesn't have to go in tonight for cervadil I am praying that she continues dilating and goes into full labor before they have to give her pitocin.

Can't believe it's here and I'm gonna have a granddaughter to spoil

Yeah, I added a few last minute things before I mailed mine.. I am fairly pleased with the gift I sent.. Hopefully my SS will be too

We split up our santa gifts about half and half....I like to do themes based on what I have for toys. This year we got dd a lot of Thomas stuff and a bunch of play animals from the T. toy clearance so that is from us and the misc. stuff is from Santa along with the Tag. Jr. TS3 and books. Then her bday is in Feb. and I have stuff set aside plus whatever I find at the Jan. clearance....and then I go from there. Kinda weird with her bday so close to Christmas ya know?

It does bring to mind one last minute assembly. We always had Christmas Eve at hubbys and at that time it usually went kind of late. Got home, kicked off the shoes, put kid to bed, needed to assemble a wagon. Panty hose came off next. Ever try to sit on a bed in a skirt and assemble a wagon? Off went the skirt. I hate clothes. So, little by little, off they went. So, here we were, pretty much naked, assembling a wagon, with a giant tub of vaseline on the bed to lubricate the wagon stuff.

Yeah, tell me about it. My daughter's is in February too. But my son's is worse -- it's New Year's Eve.

Made a caramel cheesecake & a chocolate/strawberry cheesecake. Yummy... too bad I won't get any! DH is taking them to work.


MMM... I think I'm going to have to make up a peppermint mocha cheesecake. I'll name it the "L2B"



If it attaches to the food item and you are not taxed on food, then the TQ does not affect your tax basis at all.

If the TQ has to be k1'd, then it comes off of your general merchandise total and lowers your tax basis on general merchandise.

Do you all think that a play kitchen is a good gift for boys. I was so excited to get one for my boys. I got this one. [step2.com]. I also got fake food & pots/pans for it. Now DH is thinking it is more of a girlie gift. He is giving me $hit about it...My older son loves to play with the kitchen at this playhouse we go to a lot...he loves talking about food groups, colors, tastes of food etc. I mean, DH is a chef for crying out loud.:dont know:

We don't wrap the big Santa gift, but I do wrap stocking stuffers. It seems to make the morning last longer because they have to unwrap all those sample sized toothpastes.

Ugh. Last night was HORRIBLE with my little guy. He woke up with diarrhea at midnight and didn't go back to sleep until 4. Then of course, I had to wake him up to take DS to school. The little guy has always been a terrible sleeper but 4/5 nights last week, he slept 12 hours. I attribute it to the fact that it doesn't get light in the morning here until 8am.

Plan on doing a lot of shopping today. Need to get a couple more sonicare and some odds and ends for DH. We agreed that we aren't doing any big gifts this year b/c of all the stuff we got on BF and the fact that we have to move ourselves down to FL...

I never wrapped stocking stuffers but maybe I will this year...we are doing a small Christmas here and then celebrating with my family on the 29th. I doubt my boys will ever remember that...plus it will be like 2 christmases. Before the snafu in our move, I had already sent all of the boys' big gifts to my mom's house down there...so not feasible for them to get them on Christmas.

It is! This year will be lilB 2nd BDay and his is on Jan 3rd. It is so hard to keep reminding myself I also need to be planning his bday and his party while I am trying to get Chirstmas done.

I am glad that I at least have a good month from Christmas to get ready but it does creep up on me every time. And I think one of the worst parts is that she gets soooo much stuff from the end of Dec. through the beginning of Feb. and then nada the rest of the year.....theoretically....I mean, I do try to get her new things periodically throughout the year too so we both keep our sanity. Luckily she is not one to get bored real easily. That and we have this massive toy exodus right around this time of the year because BAM they just arrive all at once and flood the house.

I was able to score one of the Lipper toy boxes super duper cheap from the Kohls website this morning so I was super excited about that :yahoo: We have needed a toy box for awhile now and the only reason I hadn't built one was because my MIL/FIL kept telling me they were going to make her one for her bday last year....and I'd ask them about it and they'd say they were still doing it and then nothing, etc. :rolleyes: Now of course it is winter and building things and winter here in the subzero temps. don't really go well together unless you have a heated garage :) Now just :pray:ing that everything goes through OK with Kohls and we really do end up getting it.....almost too good to be true :lol: I've never scored an SCT deal from Kohls before.

So, I've been emailing a gentleman at one of our local homeless shelters and have alot of stuff to donate that is a good fit for them and this time of year. He stated they needed socks. I know I should have boxes and boxes of them from the Merona TQ but I only stocked up Mini on socks for school.
