Okay.. again you guys are making me jealous with the hallmark stuff Wink

I am officially giving up the HM search.. My stores won't take it, the store near DH work says they aren't a gold crown store.. and tonight I was in another town visiting family and DH and I drove around for 30 minutes and never even found the store laugh out loud

Oh well, I got my pans and I am happy Smilie

Off to bed now.. gotta long day tomorrow. Church, then shopping, the wrapping, then another CHrismas party!

Wave Morning

I crashed early last night, so I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed early this morning.

I need to find my Hallmark Qs that I printed and actually USE them. Anyone still have a link to the $10 one? (Looks like the promotion has ended, but Dazzled deserves Applause as I'm sure we have all used some of these (or I need to).

I've always wondered why I don't get email from Hallmark, as all of my info is online when I check. I've never gotten Qs emailed to me from them.

Post Edit: This thread ROCKS Rock with friendly, helpful people!

I have a friend who writes all of her checks for the full price and then the coupons are deducted and they hand her cash money. That cash money, collected over a year, paid for everything on a one week long vacation for the entire family the next year, including gas, food, tickets, souvenirs... what ever is left over, goes back in the vacation fund for next year.
I wish I couls afford to write a check for the preQ total.

No, not me. M2C should get the credit. She mentioned it here in TCC, I just went out and found it out of boredom. I have used at least 2 (2 different emails) at each of the 4 stores within the large shoppiong circle I have and tomorrow we leave for Charlotte for Vacation to GWL and outlet and mall and Ikea shopping for me - I am sure I will find a Hallmark or two there.

I never get anything from them either. My daughter and I each used the coupon once yesterday for some very nice Christmas books. Really makes me wish this wasn't an area where using one coupon somewhere like that means they will remember you.

This is a sugar fudge recipe. It isn't real grainy or hard but it is a little firmer than a marshmallow fudge. But its quick and easy. Grease a regular size dinner plate or a square 8 x 8 pan with butter.

2 cups sugar
2/3 cup milk

Stir together and cook at a rolling boil until it hits soft ball stage. You can determine this by using a candy thermometer or a cup of cold water. It will stick to the spoon and be kind of a thick syrup. Drip a few drops off your spoon into a cup cold water. If you can roll it up in a ball and pick it up, it's ready.

Once you hit soft ball stage -- work quickly and:
Stir in a tablespoon or so of butter, a little vanilla, and a glob of peanut butter -- about 1/3 - 1/2 cup. Mix it in quickly. Move pan to a sink full of cold water and submerse the bottom of the pan, stir until it starts to cool and set up. QUICKLY poor onto your plate or pan. Often it will start to set up and you can skip the sink part.

I have always done it by feel and cold water but I did try it using a candy thermometer a while back and "soft ball" does set up right.
Just as I was dropping off to sleep last night, all of sudden it occurred to me that I had written that recipe wrong. Notice the change. It is 2 cups of sugar and 2/3 cup of milk. I have idea what the hell I was thinking. I have been making this since I was a kid.

Decent deal....this [target.com] triple-Crock-Pot is on sale in T's ad today for $49 (down from $99.99) minus 20% off Crock-Pot coupon (exp. 12/24.) My mom and I went in and picked one up this morning....coupon beeped and needed a price entered. Cashier could not do the math so my mom told them $9.80 and they entered it no problem.

$39.20 seems like a pretty good deal for this and it seems to get good reviews on Target.com. They had it on display in-store and it looked to be of very nice quality - 3 separate 2.5 qt. crock-pots with individual temp. controls and it's not nearly as bulky as some of the roaster pans that you can put those divider pans in.

Will be a PITA to use, as they are marked $4.99 at wags. Hopefully you get a cashier that understands their Q policy to mark the Qs down.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about with cookware deals. I've been trying to get a SS set for quite sometime but keep missing the great price on amazon Annoyed

Holy crap it was crazy out there today. Ran into T for 1 item. Lots of great cashiers, they had every single lane open and there were 3-4 people in line at every lane. I just got my 1 item and didn't even bother with a run. WAY too crazy. Tried to go to BBW for my free lotion and the line to pay was out the door.

Just finished assembling DD's kitchen that will come from santa. Took 2 damn hours. You were right tootsie, a biatch to assemble, but beautiful. Glad we started working on this early.
told you Shocking It's solid once it's together, but getting it there was a biotch fo' sho'!!! Can't wait to see it in "Stainless" Coverlaugh

Hi all! New job has me on my feet all day, up and down stairs running. Feels good after being on my butt for the last year! Bad side is, can't keep up with you all!

Not going in to deals thread, you can't make me! Anyone wanna share the story on cookware?

Mailed my SS gift, splurged on Priority Mail, they shouldn't be without a present on Christmas just because I can't get my act together and get to the PO!

Tomorrow, a group of women I know from the community are getting together and making Christmas boxes for 12 families. We each got a family member to specifically buy a gift for, and then fill 2 HUGE boxes full of food for each family. Have been collecting non-perishables all year for this, and they fill the back end of my car (seats six and the back seats are folded down) Lots of Suave shampoo, Chef Boyardee, it was fun! Then a group of guys take the boxes in an unmarked delivery van, and pretend to not have a clue where the 'delivery' came from. Wish we could tape their reactions!
that is awesome heart heart

I love those. I have absolutely no use for one and won't buy one, yet, I still want one. One would have been nice years ago when I did actually do stuff and could have used one. Shoot, I rarely use my regular crock pot. I did get one of these and really like it.

My cashier took off $10 this morning for the 20% off coupon. shake head She scrolled back up to look at the price and then looked again at the box to be sure it was Crock-Pot.
