Good Morning bargain snarfing peeps!

This is the prettiest morning I have seen in a long time. The sky is a gorgeous bright blue and everything is coated in very thick sparkly frost. It's so bright I am squinting in the living room. Now, I could just forget all that snow and the 5 degree temperature.

Gotta do my paper run soon. I thought about stopping at KMart to see if there are any Christmas gift sets minus a coupon. The Fusion in Hot Deals comes to mind. Or maybe some pet treats. Although, this is KMart. They won't be marking that stuff down until April.

Is there any reason to see anything wrong with using a razor coupon on a razor gift set? Or a body wash coupon on a gift set that does contain the correct body wash? I can't see why it would be wrong. You are buying what is specified plus more actually.

TM4D - check the $4 Rx lists and see what is on there and then ask the Dr. for a prescription. Thanks GT....have a script for 30-ct. ranitidine from the ER last night, will have dh go get it there. Dr. put me on Prilosec for 3 mos. and of course it is so expensive OTC and is probably more to get by script the doc. said, grrrr. Thinking this is the best route since I went into the hospital 2 yrs. ago on nothing and came out (weighing less) on Zantac and unable to get off of it....still think having the feeding/breathing tubes and all down there irritated something and that it may not have healed right. They also tested for H. Pylori (stomach bacteria) and if that would come back positive there is a treatment protocol so will have to wait on that. Overall a good Dr. appt. this morning.

Did you check Walmart for the gift sets??? They have them marked down....well, HAD them marked down around here......I will tell the story from yesterday morning's shopping adventure of our area shelf-clearer and those gift sets. It's a good one, just too tired right now. Nausea finally went away though, just heavy-headed/sleepy/dizzy now. Darn morphine, you are not welcome in my system - get OUT!

This makes me understand better why cashiers/management give couponers such a hard time. Difficult to tell who is legit and who is not.

One of the guys that my trainee's husband is teaching laugh out loud told me that he printed from coupons.com 3 Qs to a page and then just makes copies of those. I Slap him, as I told him there was a reason that there are limits. See the little unique numbers on the Q? bulb
He was printing at the library so that his OWN computer wouldn't be shut down Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I think folks have mentioned it before, but maybe some schools or homeschool groups or co-ops (I'm always looking for higher level books for my kids, or books on subjects in their interests that aren't typical in traditional schools), local libraries, or try a used book store and turn them in for credit so you can get some new books to read!

I don't know the technicalities about the coupon usage on sets vs. individual items. The reasoning from *my* side sounds good, but that's because I want it to! What the manufacturer thinks could be a totally different story.

I must admit, there are times it can be tempting. I think that's one of the dangers of being into couopning and these forums.

I actually braved WM last night to try and find those gift sets- none anywhere. Was also hoping to get some of the Glade candles, since someone reported them being $1.17, but all scents were $2.33 here Frown

My biggest advice is make sure the rice is cooled/cold before frying. For me, it never comes out fried well if I don't. It will come out a gooey, sticky mess. Frown

If there's a secret to making perfect fried rice every time, I'd love to know also!!

Ank, the only thing I know abt making fried rice is that it shld be cooled..If I want to make it in the evening, then I make the rice in the morning..But other than that I dont know how to make egg fried rice...when to put the eggs, boiled eggs or fried eggs, spices, sauces etc etc

I know the kohls cash earning period expired..someone posted a 20% online code in the kohls forum..Will have to check if there is a printable available..
