For some reason, I thought you meant the lady at Walmart was the lady on TLC

I never ordered my kcups.. picked 3 boxes I knew I wanted, but can't decide on the 4th flavor.. So far I have the cinnamon pastry one (which has really good reviews), a gloria jeans variety box, and wolfgang puck creme caramel.. just can't narrow down the last one.. I love creme brulee but it is out.. can't decide if I want to try something new, or stick with what I know I like.. Of course, if you put enough cream and torani syrup in it, it won't matter anyway I guess
Well, I am going back to my Kindle for a few minutes.. I didn't really want one before, but have enjoyed it this week since DH gave it to me. I just finished the first book I purchased.. Now, I have downloaded alot of free books I need to try.

The only store that I run from is Target. And oh get this...my last trip to Target about 6 weeks ago, I had a throw down with the manager. Well..just bite me raw when I didn't see her at Rite Aid as a cashier. Well I went above and beyond to say hi to the witch and then I threw in there..Rite Aid is really good about understanding coupons, so you should come to understand what I was trying to do at Target. Her mouth opened and nothing. Then she said all snotty (and rightfully so), well I'm still a manager at Target! So I said, (as I slapped my hand to my forehead) oh great!! Next time I am in there I am going to look for you! This will be awesome! Now that you are learning coupons, you can teach the cashiers over at Target, I am so excited. And I think she really thought I meant that all heartfelt and chit. She didn't have anything to say. But I will admit here...I do not go to that Rite Aid to often (thank goodness)!

I knew you were somehow special from reading your previous posts. But this time - this last post - has proved it beyond a doubt. You are a sensitive, caring, insightful, wise woman who was very lucky in love and even better than that, you know how lucky you were. And I'd bet you knew how lucky you were when your husband was alive.
Your post made so much sense, and I hope those who need it will take it to heart. If you have someone in your life who is not "getting it" they won't get it by your pouting and not communicating.
Most people do not intentionally try to hurt someone they love. In fact, most reasonable people don't try to hurt anyone intentionally at all. But it happens. And when it does, your words should help. Talk to that person. Avoid letting things simmer. Don't try to have a conversation in the heat of the moment, but wait for a calm time to approach it serenely. People don't have to be a mystery to each other. You have a God-given voice for a reason. Use it wisely, as you should all your gifts.

I think there is much wisdom is in the Serenity Prayer. The serenity to accept the things I cannot change, and the courage to change the things I can - are the easy part. It is that danged "wisdom to know the difference" that gets me every time. If you can get that one right - the other two are easy....
A great book my sister gave me linky [amazon.com] is a huge eye-opener when it comes to what guys are thinking. They are far simpler creatures than we give them credit for.

Finally got caught up - you guys have been super chatty! Had a grfeat Christmas, great visit with my brother and his family, and now I'm ready to move past the holidays and start cleaning up this house. One more Christmas party New Year's Day (all my family in VA and MD get together and exchange gifts - New Years was the only day we had when we'd all be available) and then I'm done. Think I'm gonna make that fried rice recipe that someone shared (was it Tootsie?), and throw some salad shrimp in there. Plus the white chocolate cheesecake, of course. Then a side dish of some sort. Not sure yet.
Anyway, I must catch up on deals and RA because hubby is home tomorrow and I am going SHOPPING!!! Woohoo!!!

practically whole back endcap of red oreos .69 not signed. maybe i will buy one for dh b/c he likes oreos, but now i feel greedy and want to see if i can get it 90% off. keebler gingerbread and sugar cookies were on a front endcap and i love gingerbread but i don't buy keebler anymore b/c they have trans fats and i avoid it if at all possible.
