I NEVER pay with my CC or any other device they can use to track me. In fact, I meant to ask you guys about something that happened last month. I ran in just to get cold medicine for DS and used my usual GC that I use for everything. Well... evidently I had picked out the good cold medicine because they needed my ID. Now I'm all paranoid that my ID is tied to that GC. I think I might need to transfer some $$ to another GC and start using a new one. look around

LOL..Ok I thought I was silly in this way too. But my DH goes shopping with me most of the time and ANYTIME the register beeps for ID (usually video game or canned air), he automatically pulls out HIS ID cause he knows I never never give them mine. I like to be anonymous!! I tell him there is no reason for them to even know 'my' name. shake head

BTW..Whoever mentioned that the more coffee that you drink from the Keurig the more 'used' to it you will get, Is absolutely right! I have had mine a few weeks now and tried a regular pot of coffee and it seemed so weak that I could hardly drink it.

My new favorite reg flavor coffee is the Nantucket Blend. But I just can't stay away from that Hot Chocolate either...next step is to try it with schnapps! (dh thought that you all were brilliant for suggesting that) LOL
PS..Thanks for all of your info and help on this board. Very much appreciated!

Teri...I am praying for you and your family.

LOL at the drama queen dog. Is it expensive to get her nails trimmed? My cats need their nails trimmed badly. I'm determined to do it myself...I just have to get a cat sized nail clipper.
Just use regular people nail clippers. Finger nail clippers are possibly big enough for a cat but toe nail clippers definitely are. I have used them on small dogs. They are also easier to see what you are doing, to hold and to control

I grind my dogs nails, I don't usually clip. Does a nice job and leaves them smooth and rounded. I don't pay to have it done. My daughter's dog had a messed up sore nail that we couldn't clip -- plus we wanted the vet to look at it and maybe see about removing it surgically. We took her in two or three times for him to clip it (and he did them all) and it was $5. Yes, we have a very reasonable vet. We didn't have it removed and it seems to be doing ok now.

Now, I know what a woody is Evil but I've never heard of it in context of celery. Is this just (no other way to say it) hard or tough celery?

What's with the Celery or the Celery Lift icons then? I know it was before my time here on SD.

Yes about the tough celery.

No clue about the sd significance of the celery icons!

It had something to do with what a mod said to someone on a thread. I think maybe it was rayzac. It happened so long ago though. Plus I was away from SD for a long time so I kind of forget! look around

most of us here find our own lives pretty boring. it's everyone else that helps us find the entertainment in our lives. when in doubt, there's always a poop story. those are even more popular than keurigs around here.

for the record here, i've never posted any excrement stories. don't plan to.
don't have a keurig either. don't plan on getting one. don't want one. ditto gt. slowtech, too, right?
kallison got one and returned it.
you, my friend, are in good company. we're the underground movement. starting to form, to overthrow the Thursday God. we'll do it, we will!

Wave anyhow. I'm sure you can talk about poop, food, pets, and regular coffee. Wink !

Well, I have cats, and they like to poo, will that count? I have one cat that takes a dump so large I accused my dh of going in the litter box. He says it's just that the cat is such a butthole he likes to show how large it is. I also drink coffee, but from a boring ol' Mr Coffee. I like it so much that I have 2 spare pots that were T clearance last month.
So I cannot ever buy a Keurig because dh will not allow another coffee making device in the house.

I do my own cats' nails, and it's easy. It does help to have 2 people if your cat is afraid, so one can hold while the other clips. And if they wiggle, let them go and come back later. Or try it while they're asleep. You can usually get 2 or 3 done before they wake up.

And for the record, if anyone else must be thanked , I give a blanket thank you to all who want one. If I ever fail to thank anyone within 24 hours of receiving advice, answers, whatever, feel free to call me out. But generally I ask, and then wait a while because I know everyone reads at different times and respones if any will be awhile in coming. Also because I usually read at night when the thread is slow. So I don't want to ask and then hover, posting every 5 minutes "does anyone know...hellooo. Bueller...?
Now, who wants some clearanced chocolate truffle Target coffee? With Kahlua.

Nantucket and Tully's Kona are my go to flavors, good anytime and smooth tasting. My favorite cup holds the smallest brew cycle, and these are perfect, they are a little weak in a larger brew size.

I recently discovered that I heart the Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee. That with just a little heavy cream or half & half is delightful, and the aroma is great. I don't usually like flavored coffees, so I never buy them, like to create the flavor myself. Mother in law got a Keurig for Xmas and I tried this at her house and am hooked. Registered my Keurig (yet again) Teehee and ordered some more so I could choose better flavors. I'm trying a new one: Wolfgang Puck's Breakfast Blend. It had good reviews and it's a pretty label. laugh out loud

All I can say is that I heart heart out of town Ts!!

Went to a new store today and wow was it STFC. Didn't get there until 1:30 and was still able to get several Leapster games & Tag books. Lot of Thomas trains. Also got some play wonder ice cream & pots/pans sets and 5 Little Monkeys game. Happy with my haul. Finally found the Olay trial soaps. All in all a very successful trip!

Yes, I must thank you again, I just kept telling myself to give it some time, now the flavor from the Keurig is so wonderful!

OOOH I was wanting to try that Wolfgang Puck one. It is on my list to order along with the WP Creme Caramel Coffee. And I still have not used my b2g2 so guess what I am doing this evening...Ordering Coffee and Syrup!! (thanks tootsie for the reviews on those)
Yep...I am truly a Keurig addict!! Nothing like a midday coffee or Hot chocolate..and I would have never done that in my traditional coffee pot, cause it always seemed like such a waste of coffee (even when I only made 1/2 pot).
Also wanted to say that I found some boxes of Kcups on clearance at WM (the thoughts of walking in that store makes me cringe) they were $4.98 i think so I may just have to force myself to stop there to pick up a few. I think they had Kona, GJ Hazelnut, and Nantucket plus a few others.

I miss runs like that. Seems like they are so very hard to do these days. Hey Gator, Do you remember the 'old' days when we used to be able to post our actual target runs (exact items and cpns used) on the deals thread...boy so much has changed! LOL
Hope you are doing well with your relocation!
