Toy clearance was ok. Nothing spectacular, but there wasn't anything big I was looking for. I picked up a few of the hot wheels sets that were originally around $25. Nice for birthday gifts. I have a (cough cough) few spare GCs that I leave at home because I don't what all that T $$ in my wallet at once. Maybe I'll switch to one of those and start moving my big balance over. I need to think about it.

toys are going 75% at my closest store. got there 11ish and the markdown team was slowly making there way thru the 3 aisles so i had them scan stuff i was interested in. the selection actually wasn't so hot so i'm going to another store after lunch and meeting bff there.

DD woke up with a fever at 11pm last night so I had to take her to my grandmother's first, then take DS to school, THEN get to T for toy clearance Doh by then, some twatwaffle had already filled a trailer (literally, like that fart-blossom on extreme couponers who has it hitched to his Prius) so a lot of stuff was gone, but I still got some good stuff for the kids, bday party gifts, and a few Toys For Tots since I emptied the closet for them this past Christmas.

Ank, I hope the ocular migraine subsides. That was HORRIBLE Monday and I hope I didn't cyber spread that germ....

Teri, you are still on my mind. I hope and pray for a misdiagnosis. It's happened before and it can happen again.

Every store with a "rewards" or "loyalty" card does this. There's benefits to both the shopper and the store. The shopper gets coupons and discounts and the store gets to be able to see market trends. I don't feel like there's any nefarious purpose behind it.

Also, I need to see if the toys are 75% off in my store yet. I saw they marked all the seasonal candles down in the candle aisle the other day. They were 50-75% off. I only know this because they had me go out and move all the candles around. I had a headache afterwards as some of those smell pretty strong! I don't know how people can work in stores like yankee candle. They have to deal with that all day. shake head

I know from when I used to work at sam's club that they could easily track what you bought there. Not sure how advanced target's system is though.

But you do need to scan your ID to buy cough medicine. And lighters...and fireworks. laugh out loud

OMG, she whines this pathetic howling sound. She hides her feet under the pillows and moans and looks at me like I'm beating her. And, yes, her feet are just fine. There is nothing wrong with her -- she runs, jumps, and bounces all over the damn place.

LOL at the drama queen dog. Is it expensive to get her nails trimmed? My cats need their nails trimmed badly. I'm determined to do it myself...I just have to get a cat sized nail clipper.

Yes, then I would have to bunny slap them! I don't have an issue if a regular asks questions, because you know they work to contribute to the thread. The ones that annoy me are the noobs who don't even take a few minutes to feel around the thread. The just plop down, and say...OK servants of mine..produce..giveth me answers as I demand.

Oh and worse yet..ya know what really annoys me..bet ya never gonna figure it out...so let me tell ya....Smilie

My DH tells me often that women don't understand how much they affect their men and how much their men want to really do a wonderful job for them. He says even when they don't say it, the encouragement and support mean a lot to them and can get them moving and working super hard.
