So my DH just reminded me of something the cashier said...that they did get a register software update?? so he said that may be why my cpns were scanning funny...UGGH so frustrating!

After reading through the thread, here is my thoughts/opinion on the deal.. I think the total is 3 deals max right now.. regardless of whether you bought them last week or this week..
Last week their were 2 different pepsi deals.. for ease, CVS just combined them and made a limit of 2 for pepsi.. Then this week there was supposed to be a limit of 1.. toward the end of last week they upped the limit in the computer to 3 deals to cover both week's sales..
SO, in CVS mind, they gave you 3.. 2 for last week and 1 for this week.. I am fairly certain that if you got all 3 last week, you won't get extra bucks if you buy more.. And it will be hard to argue with the store because your receipt is going to clearly say "limit reached" on the bottom of your receipt..

Now, you can get another card.. or wait until later in the week and see if they up the limits again.. A poster today mentioned getting word from their manager that the pepsi deals are gonna run until the beginning of February, so there is a good chance the limit will increase. It did that last year in January as well.. Only way to know is to read the thread for someone to report back, or go midweek and buy some gum or something and see if your limit is changed..
But, IMO, I would not buy any more right now if you already got 3 deals worth.Smilie

We actually have a couple friends that play - though I'm the only girl/wife that joins in (dd can occasionally be talked into a game, but it's not her thing). Online is pretty cool too. *laugh* I've done that a few times. I've also had days where I know we are going to drink tea like crazy (everyone has sore throats, etc...) so I will heat water in a pot, wrap the tea up in a coffee filter and tie with kitchen string or white thread, and steep in the pan. I guess we do what we gotta do.

I do need to cut out my caffeine intake. It would probably help if I would get more sleep. I don't know how to come off of it though - I'm sure I'll have some kind of withdrawl or something. I drink a lot of coffee each day. A lot.

What were they doing?

I had some funny things happen yesterday but it was because of the dumb funky barcode. one of my coupons kept asking for the price of the item and it was a cents off q! Another came up expired when it wasn't, and one of them added a little over $1900. That was an interesting check out experience. laugh out loud My total seems off and I have "missing" q's, so I have to go over my receipt again also. It was a bit weird.

okay basically my b1g1 (size 14) was coming up 0.00, my reg mq was asking for prices and my olay were adjusting down after 3 and last one was INF...he covered right barcode with his thumb at first then i asked him to rescan completely covering barcode with palm of his hand...almost every cpn acted funny. I am hoping it was a complete fluke cause i used same cpns on friday with no problems. Will go back tuesday to see what happens then.

I think i now i can share my story, I lost my sister to AML, She was diagnosed after 2 months since she had her daughter.. after a futile 7 months struggle, we lost her.. Your Em's story remainded me of those traumatic times and How much I wished i know TCC then, everybody here made me moved, teared and emotionally tightened.
I am again very glad Teri for all you...
I am hoping that my BIL will let me adopt her, and she would really be by daughter i always dreamed having Smilie

Thanks, we are all so relieved. Even the doctor was relieved. I talked to him in private Thursday afternoon when Em had left the room and he had told me then that he had no idea what it was but he felt as though is was malignant. So glad he was wrong.

I'm going to go sit and visit with Jason and Em, and get some hugs from Ellie. I'm so thankful that we have averted yet another scare. Though, I feel as I get a bit daffier with each one Smilie

You might want to recheck. I tried to do a missed q at one store last week and at first they told me that you have to do a missed q the same day. But she checked with the LOD - and the LOD said they had changed the policy again - and as long as they scan - they have to take them.

The LOD was not happy about it. She said they shouldn't have to take them because then people go home and get coupons from the paper and bring them back EEK!! LOL But she said the policy was they had to take them... as long as they scan.

I have done this a few times. I buy the item in line, then go price match at CS. Then later that week, I go back to CS and do a missed TQ. Never had any problems. HTH

That is correct! I bought 3 deals last week before the new ad was turned on and that same limit reached is at the bottom of my receipt. Hoping that it increases mid-week as I seriously need to stock up on diet pepsi.

You can also log onto your extra care/cvs account and see the current balances of your deals. This has saved me from making extra trips to the store just to find out I can't do another deal.

I have a new CVS card, as the guy who signed me up can't spell laugh out loud So any of the ECBs that aren't even close to my last name will be the one for the new card. The Athens CVS didn't get their ads, or their tags, supposedly because of the snow LAST sunday. Girl checking folks out wouldn't let her one copy of the ad out of her sight.
I guess I've been wagging too much (wags doesn't have price check machines). I could have just gone over to the price checker. Doh

I went ahead and bought Miracle Whip at CVS. I figured that the $4 off $20 paid for it. I'm surrounded by Hickory Farms ham, and didn't have any Miracle Whip.

Speaking of crockpots....does anyone have any good recipes for boneless pork chops in the crockpot? Trying to use up the tons of pork chops in my freezer before they go bad!! TIA

Didn't get out at ALL today. Kinda mad that I wasn't productive, but it was nice to stay in and watch DVR'ed shows and hang out with the family.

Tomorrow is my oldest daughter's 19th birthday. Where in the world did the time go???? She is my pride and joy! She and my youngest DD went to Target the other day and ordered her a stand-up princess cake. My youngest is SO excited lol.
