Should women stay in the kitchen where they belong?

Question
Women - do you cook as well as your mother/mother-in-law ... did they cook as well as their mothers? ...or course not...
Don't take this the wrong way, but I think once women were allowed this whole 'equal rights thing' it signaled the downfall of our civilization. Higher divorce rates, higher teenage pregancies, obesity (since we have to eat out more), the ozone layer (that may be a stretch), etc. Let's get America back on track and the women back into the kitchen where they belong!

is that book the one where you cook for a day and freeze it all? I would love to do that but my freezer is SO tiny...and no room for another freezer.(small house...."starter house" as hubby called it...haven't moved out yet
I cook too...but I don't spend all my time in the kitchen. I do easy meals that satisfy yet are fast and simple. there are so many options! Like tonight was a really easy night...mac and cheese and sausage. Tomorrow is pork chops probably...not sure yet.
I do 2 or 3 recipes x3 in a morning and have enough to eat for 2 weeks. If I do this once every week or so, I have a pretty good rotation going. I freeze some in smaller portions for my FIL, as he lives alone and doesn't cook for himself. This way I can pretend he's eating something other than Hooters Wings all the time.
Seriously - it's $9.74 on Amazon. Check it out.
Don't Panic -Dinner's in the Freezer [amazon.com]
I've made most of the freezable recipes in it, and haven't come up with anything yucky yet. Some stuff I wouldn't crave daily, but nothing bad at all. I've bought 3 copies for gifts so far - it's that good. Every new bride gets one of these from me from now on.
my constant temptation in my marriage is to be lazy and not to truly know, serve, and protect my wife. i would say my wife's constant temptation would be to lead in everything, and give me no say. it has the potential to be a vicious circle, but we are both aware of these temptations, and we both fight them daily.

Do you see any appeal in having to stay at home for, basically, your whole life?

(ok, even I thought I sounded like a chauvenist with that one!)
