Why don't you try it for me 2015 husband. Symptoms include: sinus pain/pressure, alternating with runny nose (lots of mucus), blocked ears, swollen tonsils, sometimes a low grade fever and today we added cough and sore throat.GO!

OK, I had to take some guesses at a few questions. I said "no" to "did you swallow poison?" and "have you recently stabbed yourself with scissors or other sharp objects in the area where you are experiencing pain?"

I also went ahead and gave you a couple symptoms you didn't list: "Sees letters, numbers, or musical notes as colors," "tastes words when they are heard," and "teeth do not fit like they used to."

It says you either have acute lycanthropy, or a pulmonary embolism. Dontknow Should we page Dr. House?

ETA: it also says you might have a foreign object in your nose. Is iconian in your nose?

It also says you might have "dust exposure," nasal polpys, or mono.

We'll need to do a spinal tap and one of them tests where we shoot you all full of the radioactive gunk and then take some x-rays or scans or something. Just stay here in this MRI machine for about 12 minutes while Taub argues with his wife & Dr. House hits on Cuddy, okay?

Who took this patient's history? We can't re-diagnose you with something you've already had! We need the black guy to go break into your house while you get sicker and we all argue for a while about who's smarter/prettier/having more sex.

ok srsly I feel bad that you feel so awful & can't find a doc--I wish there was something I could do to help... does your insurance company have a "nurse line" or something where you can get some advice & maybe ask for a recommendation?

redjen - do you have ANY doctor you like in town? Dentist? OB/GYN? Optometrist? Ask them for a referral. DH gives referrals for my OB all the time. Crazy

Funny you should ask. I called my OB and asked two weeks ago; she referred me to the quack. The podiatrist referred me to my old Dr's partner who I don't care for and my dentist likes a dr who does not accept ANY insurance as payment (cash only office). I really have been trying.

Frown That stinks. I'm sorry!! Is there a med school nearby? Teaching hospital? A new quack can be beaten into submission easier than an old quack can.

Work is crazy busy right now.

Had to get an appliance guy to the house last night to replace the heating element in my dryer. After seeing what he did, I could have done that.
