It's a house, big woop. Once I move out of my parents basement, i'll post pictures of my house too!
OK but I get to pick the nail polish
Oh wait.
and exactly 2 weeks until we close on the house
2 weeks!!!!
We were almost done, I had walked to the end of the bread aisle alone and he walks up to me and asked me if he could ask me a question. He proceeded to preach to me. Nothing over the top, just "where are you going when you die?" type stuff. I was nice but answered his questions as I believe ("to a hole in the ground").
He started the whole spiel and then asked if we could pray right there for my forgiveness. I chuckled slightly and commented that that wasn't a decision that could be made that fast (and in walmart).
I then asked him his name (Caleb), and his age (16). I shook his hand and told him it took guts to walk up to a complete stranger and start preaching (especially for someone so young). I wished him luck and went on my way.
You could tell he was nervous.
I just wonder why he decided to do this in Walmart. Was it a youth group thing and there were others I didn't see there doing it as well?
My son came up and asked me what he was saying. I told him and he sort of scoffed. Surprised me, I try not to impart my beliefs on him. I repremanded him and asked him if he would go up to a complete stranger and talk to him about something he believed in? He wouldn't. I told him to not make fun of him then.
I don't know, just got me to wondering.
You did a really good thing, not running the kid in the ground like some people would have.

BT's glasses are cute. Please tell me you were able to get a warranty.
Speaking of do something, huge list of errands today. But I was told not to make anything for dinner and he will forage amongst the leftovers tonight. I have a 5:30 podiatrist appointment which put a wrinkle in my plans to cook anything.
My oldest will try to do that with kids his own age. It does take courage. Maybe the kid was new at witnessing to people and trying to get the courage up to be more bold about it. It's a hard thing to do. I mean, I don't have that kind of courage, so I'm kind of proud of my son when he does. My son truly wants to make the world a better place and to see everyone in Heaven, so it really comes from the heart.

It's been a crazy day.

I went to lunch with my husband, got back in time to pick up Jack and Jamie, and then had to turn around and take Nick to Convenient Care for his back. Just got back.
btw...drive by :flash:
Have a good night peeps!
