I can't wait for a hot bath. Meds are wearing off.
I cut all 3 boys' hair, swept and mopped 3 rooms, did laundry, cleaned the gerbil cage, and have started dinner. Oven "fried" chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans and mayonnaise rolls.
Right now, I am having coffee, waiting for the water to boil.

I just sat down with my after dinner cup. I did sewing and mending today.I need to decide if I'm going to buy soemthing or make something to wear to a wedding in late April.

I'm making a zillion beef, bean & cheese burritos. BT will be thrilled when they're done!

So... ya know that laptop Microsoft gave me? Doh LT broke it. Well, he knocked it down and the port where the power plug goes in is broken, along with a USB port. Facepalm

Had to email MS to tell them. Mortified. Ashamed. Ready to be read the riot act.


The response??? "No biggie." They're going to send me another laptop. Faint

A while ago I was dating someone who had a Dell laptop through his workplace. A similar thing happened. He called Dell because his employer had a warranty plan on the equipment; Dell sent a technician to my house (he was working from home) and she fixed it at the kitchen table in less than 20 minutes. So really, no big deal. But that's great that they're going to replace it for you.

Really?? That's great! I'm sure MS has an "idiot" clause. laugh out loud I just expected to have to pay to fix it. I offered, because really - It was my fault. Nope - it's all good. It's also a Dell.
