I put a Book on CD (that was on 10 or 12 CD's) on to one MP3 CD and that was pretty good...just make sure you have the chapters labeled correct, else it will play out of order...which is what I did...the remote tagging dbase had different ways of naming the chapters...I had read the book so I knew right away it was out of order...which reminds me...I still need to re-burn that booklaugh out loud

Facepalm How do I teach my kid to be a gracious loser? Dude took 3rd in the Pinewood Derby Tiger Cub division, and cried like a little punk. So mortified. Doh All those racers and he's in the top 3!! He should be happy! He was the ONLY child who cried tonight.

I've got my eye on a kit that will adapt the XM/AUX button on the van to an Ipod button. It's $150, though. I figure that my last car payment is next month, so the month after I'll spend a 1/4 of a payment on tunes for me. Rock

My sister works in a hospital and tells me that prolonged hand sanitizer use makes you sicker. You still have to wash your hands regularly. It's good in a pinch, but washing is better.

I condensed that from a 15 minute lecture at Christmas. You're welcome. laugh out loud

Tell your sister to find time to run to the restroom often enough to wash the germs away when she's responsible for watching 20+ kids all day. I wash when I can, but I'll take the risk of using hand sanitizer over nothing at all. laugh out loud


Kid wipes his nose with his hand and then grabs my hand. I'm going for the sanitizer. If someone else wants to wait hours until they can go to the restroom, they're more than welcome to do that. Stick Out Tongue

Anti-bacterial soap, too. Contact with some germs is good for us. Kids who are allowed to go out and play in the dirt and with other kids are healthier in the long run than those who are kept in a sterile environment by over-protective parents.

None of that applies to 20 kids with snot hands. Totally use the hand sanitizer!

OMG I love Bath & Body works. I went nutso at their annual sale thing they had a couple weeks ago. They had a bunch of their seasonal sanitizers on sale that I got a lot of. Did you smell the new fragrances that just came out? I have a coupon from them that says something about it but I haven't been in to smell it.

Yeah...plus I figure it's good for times when you can't run to the bathroom and wash your hands. If I'm at the store with Christian and he sneezes on my hand I'm not gonna leave my cart and go to the bathroom and wash my hands, lol. I think teachers, nurses, etc probably go through a lot of hand sanitizer. I would laugh out loud
