And even though all that stuff may in fact be the issue, I'm not sure he actually answered how to set your default printer.
For recent versions of Windows, go the the Start Menu, Printers and Faxes or Devices and Printers or Something involving printers (it varies by OS). Then right click on the printer you want to set as the default, and select "Set as default printer".

The ENT also said he could make custom ones. I'll just bet he could.
I had gotten the molded ear plugs from the audiologist 35~50 per ear...helps better then the foam cheapies...also got them for our son...he just had the last one fall out this fall.
They also work as hearing protection...if you work in the shop/power tools, go hunting, etc...they drop like 35 db's IIRC

Buy the ear plgs from CVS that mold to the kid's ear. That's what we used so when the kid had slip ups, we were fine. Nothing got past those things. (They come in a pack of 10 maybe and we reused them for a while.)
