Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

FINALLY Marlboro acknowledges my existence. Sure, it's just the bonus gift that they're shipping soon. But it's a start. I MAY get my netbook before Easter at this rate. Yay me ! !

Hi Jules. I was just wondering if you know of anyone who hasn't got their boots yet? I think mvario was still waiting on his. I just got mine a couple days ago and they have to be returned. One of the insoles is glued down halfway down the boot. they said ups will pickup in a couple days. Still waiting on my notebook and hubby's coat. I hope to get it before the next contest. wave

I tried to do this last Saturday. In the beginning, I logged on early and tried to get the link to the instructions to work, but none of the links would work. So, thinking my computer froze, I exited and tried to enter again. Took about 6 minutes to get back on and by that time I was 3 minutes late. Then it told me my connection was too slow, gave directions on how to fix it, tried their suggestions, still too slow. Since I have FIOS, which supposedly is not affected by the number of people online, I don't know what the problem is. One of the possible reasons they listed was I might be too far away from their server. Anyone out there from New Jersey able to get on to the test site?

Yup, still waiting on boots. I called and they said they are scheduled to ship April 20. Last time I spoke to them they were scheduled to ship in January, so I'm not feeling real confident. I guess expecting a pair of boots to take less than a year is too much. Stick Out Tongue

I did just get an email that the Bonus Gift has shipped, but it's just not getting me excited. And still nothing on the back ordered netbook.

April? Where are you gonna wear boots in April? That's a long time. I want my netbook. They should give us one that really is valued at $500 + as stated by them. The ones we are getting are worth $399.00 at the most. Who comes up with the "valued at" price? I hope we all win a trip to the ranch next contest. It would be cool to meet all the SD'ers there. nod

Son #3 (Chicago) just told me he got an email yesterday saying his notebook has been shipped bouncebouncebounce Son #2 (NJ) got his email on February 2, but is waiting for it to be delivered. I (NJ) got mine on Monday.
So we're all eager for the next contest to start. And if the boots are one of the prizes, I think I'll pick something different Wink
