i got a cat (pictures included)

I got my cat yesterday….


his name is cat, his hobbies include walking on the keyboard when i am trying to type, and sanding perfectly still while i take a picture (untill the moment i press the shutter button then he moves)

and yes i know my bed is not made and my place is messy

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts… I have to travel for work for the next 4 weeks, but when i get back I am going to go adopt another. Not a replacement, its just my house is so empty without someone greeting me at the door when i come home from work or staring at me while i am making poop. Any name suggestions are welcome, for now the leading choice is:

I don't know why but I don't recall ever even seeing this thread and although I didn't actually search for one of my posts in it, I don't believe I ever posted anything or even saw this thread. ( although I could be wrong and have missed it ) I love cats and have always owned a least one, if not more. ( as well as doggies, too ).

When I just now saw the thread and saw who the OP was, and since I like you, I decided to click and read some of it starting with the first post. I smiled at the kitty pic you posted of your new little bud and went on to read the first page and the next few. Then, since I don't always have a lot of free time to spend here reading, and, after seeing the thread posts were mostly from months ago, I just went to the last post in the thread to tell you I was sorry I hadn't noticed the thread or if I did I failed to comment and wish you well and was going to say how cute and sweet your kitty is and see what he and you were up to now,

However, I was sad then to see your post, Mark, about the cat being ill with a fatal disease. I'm sorry for your little friend's suffering and feel bad for you having to lose something you obviously already love so well. You are to be lauded for giving the kitty a wonderful home, though, no matter how short the time would be, with someone always there to love and be loved by, when the little animal could so easily have never gotten a loving and happy forever home and have been left, like so many animals are, to the fate of never actually having anything to live for or any warmth, love, and comfort in life. Sadly, in this case, "forever" was short for both of you. But at least it was sweet.
