Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

talonts is the only one on here that I know of that has the software to animate the pic.
No software for that, I just hand edit the pics when I can, save the new versions, then build a gif out of them. But that only helps with small movements, and takes a lot of time.

Unless you already have a copy of XP to install, it will probably be cheaper to use the Windows Anytime Upgrade option to move up to any of the other Win7 flavors.

Of course, if you have an XP key, since you have a recovery disk (IF you have a drive for it), you can just install it and see if all the drivers are available or not. If not, just recover it. Or do what I do, buy a bigger HD, install the new OS to it, and keep the old one as a backup (the original HD in my MacBook was in use about one hour more than it took to clone it to a 500Gig).

Won a Dentyne shirt last night. Yet another contest where they decide what size shirt to send. At least Sobe gave you a choice (or course, they ran out of 2XL, so sent me useless XLs). They'll probably send a useless L or something.

Oh, okay, Bet that does take a lot of time...it takes enough time to edit an existing animation, let alone editing the pics, then building a gif. Thanks for letting me know.

Oh, BTW I saw that idiot "theabsinthehare" comments on both our sweeps posts. I liked your comment to him on one of my posts.
I copied (not quoted) your post, and added to the other 4 posts they commented on, with an "I Agree". (hope that's ok with you....if not, I can go edit them).
I'm with you....if they're worried, don't enter, and just hit the back arrow and get off the page without leaving snide remarks.
