Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

I need some advice and everyone here is really good whith different kinds of stuff. I have a Lexmark 2600 printer (Walmart special) I never would have bought it if I had known how difficult it would be! It prints and scans just fine as long as I wipe the cat hair off from time to time but now that I have a good camera it doesnt do photos very well.
I either want to print my own or have them done at walgreens or Walmart. Printing at home would be so much more convenient but Im not sure of the price. I would only be doing about 10 - 20 prints a month. I need something that I can refill the ink in the cartridges instead of buying new ones each time. Im leaning towards getting something that just prints pictures but Im not too knowledgeable about whats availible or what is the best and cheapest way to go. Any advice would be appreciated!!
Stupid spellcheck will only tell me I spell it wrong but not what its supossed to be!!!
for all the pictures I do, I still prefer walgreens, especially when they have 10 cent pics. if you sign up with them, you will get deals in emails all the time. I upload my prints to them online and they are ready when I go. they even text me when they are done. ink is just too expensive for me to print myself. but that's my opinion. my walgreens is less than a mile away.

OMG, Im drooling on the Kohls item. We are far from any Kohls and Ive never been to one. My proudest DB possessions are probably the walkman, the little Poppie doll (stuffed) and the (4ft I think) full deminsional styrofoam DB that was displayed in stores probably 10 years ago. I got the little version (probably 18") from Sue Siebels online DB store a year or 3 ago. He's pretty sweet! Last year the grocery mgr at my favorite store got me 2 2'x3' DB christmas foam core backed wall art (picture). One is PF on a glass Christmas ball, the other on a candy cane...they are huge! Ive stayed away from ebay for years as its too hard to not buy.
Wow a walkman,I've never seen one with him on there.I don't have anything from store display's.I tried to buy a styrofoam one from somebody year's ago but they wouldn't sell it to me.Sound's like you have a pretty neat collection going yourself nod
I don't look at e-bay or any of the site's anymore..I have the original plastic one from 1971.
I have his girlfriend too.I didn't know until after I started collecting he has a whole family, but I didn't get that carried away laugh out loud

Thats his wife Poppie Fresh. His family includes Poppie (wife), Granmommer and Granpopper, which were out in the matching vinyl dolls. Other family is Popper(son), Bun Bun (daughter), Flapjack (dog), Biscuit (cat) and an uncle/brother Rollie which are finger puppets that live in the little playhouse. Just to make you drool too.....

I was just looking at your guitar post, and noticed that FreebiesRGreat posted that the contest does not start until 2/18/11. I added a wiki with the start & end dates, as well as a link to the official rules.

For those that didnt get Strudel, please accept my apoligies on his behalf. heartheartheart

Can anyone help me to locate my auto spell-check on my new OWTW4 (nicknamed Outwit) netbook? I use Firefox, if that matters. TIA!
Spellcheck is built in to Firefox. It should be on by default if not go to Preferences > Advanced. If you need a different language than the version you installed then visit the addons site.

If I have a lot of prints i usually send them to Walgreens, but I have an HP Photosmart All in One that prints excellent pictures. It also has a separate ink cartridge for each color so you only need to change one color instead of throwing out the whole color cartridge because it ran out of magenta. Cartridges are $10 a piece and there are 5 different cartridges, but only go through about 1 set of cartridges per year and I probably print 30 - 50 photos a year, but we also use it for making photocopies, scanning and as our regular printer. I know they are decently priced now, but when I bought mine it was $350 for it.
