Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Where did you find it. I need a case.
I postedthis deal [att.com]when the contest was still going -- it's a steal at 5 dollars, but note that the case is only a sleeve, so there is nowhere to store the power cord or a mouse or anything like that. I ended up buying the AmazonBasics netbook case for $11, since I liked that design a lot better.

Thank you. I'll check it out. I do have a mouse but a compact one would be nice for traveling. Also, my husband won some Sony headphones from Marlboro last year, which I mentioned last night in the Snus forum. They are really good quality (i had to sign for them). Today I hooked them up to the netbook and the sound was so much better. I couldn't believe it. So far I haven't had trouble with speed but I will be ordering the 2GB memory.
i plan on getting the 2GB also. why not upgrade?

One of the only times I've bartered at my family's hotel is when I traded a roofer who was leaving the business a night's rent for 3 different Estwing hammers -- it was a great deal on my end, and he got more out of them than a pawn shop would have given him. Those are great hammers, but people always try to steal them...
Gotta love them, they are the best hammers out there!!

I have a couple weeks to look around before we go on vacation. I'll bouncetry to figure out what kind I think I need. Thank you for sharing. The sleeve is a bargain.

I was the desigated boy in my family of 4 girls. I was doing wall fishes and crawl space wiring from the age of 4. My dad was an electrician. I LOVE TOOLS. And unlike most of the men I know, I know how to use them. But I have used a Snap-On screwdriver as a prybar before. Good thing they are guaranteed for life!!!
Where are you in the lineup of 4 girls? I'm the youngest of 4 girls - poor Dad, I'm sure he was really hoping for a boy! Grew up as tomboy. Some tools I have a high respect for and won't tackle them until I get proper instruction.

I looked at the sleeve to but a piece of junk. Wanted something nice to protect it and dang the bonus of a compact mouse was great.

paranormal activity 2 is just more of the same. meaning paranormal activity continued.
if you liked the first one, well, you will like the second.

personally, it was a waste of my time and money. I could have picked better movies to see.

I love gnomes, so I look forward to seeing gnomeo and juliet. it looks funny. nod
Someone gave it to me to watch so I am not wasting my Netflix on it..Smilie
Some movies I didn't care for was the Grudge and the Ring or the Blair Witch.I think these Paranormal's are along the line's of that.Scary movies are so hit and miss sometimes once I get to watching one, wether it is good or not ,I finish watching it to see how stupid they can get,,laugh out loud I really liked the first couple of the Saw movies.

wootwootCongratulations on your wireless hookup. It really is fun setting up the netbook. I felt really good after I connected it to my wireless printer. I had to download the software from the HP site because I couldn't use the CD that came with the printer, but I felt great when I actually printed something from upstairs to the downstairs printer. Today, I've been working to be able to download pictures from my camera but again I had to go to the Canon site for the software. As soon as I leave here I'm going to fiddle with it some more. Again, congratulations.woot
Thank you! Anything computer wise that I can do by myself (with the help of friends) is great. Certainly wouldn't have gotten this far without the help of my FF buddies!! and double !! Here I used to work in television - but once you purchase a product, it is already outdated. Technology is going way beyond what one could fathom and I am so very far behind.

I am 3 out of 4, and love tools! I have climbed poles with spikes as well as ladders, and you really do learn to respect the tool you are working with. My partner gaffed out, 20' up, and the gaff went right into his ankle!
